Who doesn't love orange chicken and teriyaki chicken? You can have both with a combo. A great place to have cheap eats. This place just reopened. Good menu choices. They have three choices for vegetarians. The food is alright. I love cheap eats. Fast and friendly assistance.

Low key spot within walking distance from my office. Tried it for the first time today. Service was kind and prompt. Plenty of seating. Had the Dragon Chicken. Delicious, could use more sauce. Will ask for more next time. They have a large or regular size, regular was enough for lunch for me. Not very spicy despite the pepper on the sign. My new lunch spot?

Typical rice bowl restaurant. I may come back for the teriyaki chicken with salad! It's cool that they have a drive thru. - Update. Came back for the chicken breast with salad. Salad was all browned. Chicken was dry. Yuck.

I was really hot and thirsty walking south on Central Ave. so I went in here for a soda. The interior is kind of dumpy and dirty. There were more flys than customers. The furniture is ugly and tacky. Service was average and I had to ask for napkins. I didn't try the food but with such lousy atmosphere and mediocre service I am taking a hard pass on another visit. Not recommended.

My manager, who highly recommended this place, was thrilled to introduce it to me. It's a popular spot among locals and even featured on Guy Fieri's TV show, "Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives." The restaurant attracts a steady stream of customers eager to savor its fun and creative Native American dishes. Frye Bread holds a special place in culinary history as the first Native American restaurant in the United States to receive the prestigious James Beard Foundation's "America's Classics" award in 2012. Their signature Fry Bread is incredibly chewy and flavorful. During my visit, I joined my coworkers, manager, and a few friends for lunch. One of the unique features of Frye Bread is its outdoor mini farmers market, where native American vendors sell jewelry, cultural gifts, and all things Native American. It was a great opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture and experience one of the restaurant's beloved dishes. While Frye Bread offers a variety of savory protein options to accompany their Fry Bread, I personally preferred mine simply drizzled with butter and powdered sugar. The combination of flavors was simply irresistible. Frye Bread is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking an authentic and flavorful Native American dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to preserving and showcasing Native American culture, combined with its delectable Fry Bread and batter, makes it a memorable dining experience.

They serve a few different tacos in their delicious, fluffy Fry bread. If you're a saucy girl like me, I recommend ordering one with either the green or red "chili" in your taco. I ordered the Ultimate Taco with red chicken chili with salsa verde on the side. It was large and delicious. I got about halfway through before the warm chicken slathered in a rich red sauce broke through the bottom of the Fry bread. I finished up the rest with fork and knife. The restaurant offers both inside and outside seating. Food is ordered at the counter by a friendly member of the staff who will guide you through the menu if you need help. They do one thing and they do it very, very well. Well worth a visit if you're in Phoenix.

You can customize by adding peppers and avocados but it comes with those yummy crispy onion pieces. The fries are pretty good too - I would give them a 6/10 on the fry scale - they are crispy and not greasy but maybe could be a little bit more crispy. My son and I each ordered our own fry but definitely could have shared them because they are quite large. I also love that they have some pretty decent wine in a can for $10. We dined in and there is not too much ambiance but they do have a tv going -- we sat by the window and did a bit of people watching. This location is inside the uptown plaza and it is so cute and decorated for the holidays. There is not much to say about the service -- our food came out fairly quickly especially during the dinner time so that was positive -- you could see a lot of door dashers in and out picking up to go orders so it was fairly busy -- but not a lot of people eating in the dining area. It is kind of pricey for fast food but it is good and they have a veggie burger so I pay the price.

Fast, efficient, food hits, no major complaints. But after my most recent experience, I'm dropping it to 3. I ordered online, paid ahead, did the whole "I'm a responsible adult" thing. I get there, give my name, pull up, and suddenly I'm told my total like I never paid. Then someone loudly calls out from the back, "OH! it declined." First of all... what? Second of all... inside voices?? Here's the kicker: it did NOT decline. I had the confirmation email, and my bank showed the charge (I didn't know this yet). Instead of verifying, she told me matter-of-factly that it declined, so I handed her the exact same card I used online, and she ran it again. Boom, double charged. And at that point, I'm starving and not about to fight over a fast food order, trusting that staff are doing their due diligence, not just assuming and casually charging a second $30 like it's no big deal in this economy. I had to go back through the drive-thru line (again), wait (again), and deal with it while my food sat getting soggy (not again, unfortunately, just once was enough). To their credit, the refund was issued and it did hit my account. So yes, they fixed it. That matters. But... this shouldn't have happened in the first place. It's a training issue. If an order is confirmed, don't assume it declined. And maybe don't announce someone's "declined card" across the building like it's a group discussion topic. Still a decent location... would be smart to verify before you charge people twice (maybe my expectations are too high?) and I will never order online again because of this, lesson learned first time around on that.

It's a little on the high side for burgers and fries, but the quality and portion sizes were definitely solid. The fries were a standout. They're hand cut and cooked in beef tallow, which gives them a rich flavor you don't get from typical fries. My son immediately said they're in his top three fries he's ever had, which says a lot. The burgers were big, messy, and really flavorful, definitely a little greasy, but in the best way. The Viva Mexico burgers had great flavor, and the bacon avocado burger was just as good. The line moved pretty quickly, and the total time from ordering and receiving our food was only about 15 minutes. At this time, the line wrapped around the truck. The food came out hot and fresh. Filet-o-fish is one of my favorites of all time, and the filet de fish did not disappoint at all! The first bite had us levitating and seeing stars. The tartare sauce that the fried fish was smothered in was delicious and creamy, and the fish fillet itself was tender and flaky. The toasted and soft Japanese bun was the cherry on top. Simple and comforting and nostalgic, but elevated in the best way. We also tried their popular Viva Mexico, but we felt like it lacked in flavor and only tasted spicy, if that makes sense. Beef tallow fries were okay and not anything special. Great portions, however, it was still pretty expensive for a food truck burger. I'm glad I got to try this place out and will be back if the filet de fish hits the menu again, and would try their Signature next time.
