    Pad Thai Sen Yai
    Phyllis C.

Not a busy restaurant but deserves to be! I had dinner with a group of friends and we were surprised by how delicious and genuinely spicy the food was. I got the Pad Thai Sen Yai with Tofu and you know it's made to order because it comes out hot! The tofu was cooked the best I've ever had, saucy and crispy on the outside without being dry and bland on the inside. The portions are generous and the waiter is friendly and tries to move fast to serve everyone. A delightful hidden gem in Belltown!

Great spot for some decent Thai food! The interior was very quiet and calm, our server was nice, and the food was good!

Stopped in for dinner and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is very nice and clean. The service was perfect. The food was fresh and flavorful. The pad Thai was delicious with tofu and was the best around the city. There are lots of dishes to choose from and will be back soon to try more.

We went here before a concert and the place was very beautiful inside and calm for some reason besides the hustle and bustle outside. We got served quickly and ordered Bangkok Mojitos and Pad Thai. Our food came quickly and damn that mojito was good! I wanted a second one but we were in a rush for our concert! The pad Thai was just right! I gobbled it down and it tasted so good! I would love to come again! Such a great place and decent pricing for Seattle!

Ordered the crack chicken.... Flavors were next level, so delicious. Loved the sweet and spicy, the cashews, the super light and crispy crunch to the basil leaves. 10/10 I had the pineapple passion to drink and it was nice as well.

Wonderful ambience, delicious food. Every one of the meals were perfectly done. So flavorful. The service was impeccable.. This is definitely a treasure.

Top to bottom: Pad See Ew Papaya Salad Avocado Curry

Overall, we had a great experience here. We stopped in after visiting the Space Needle and the food honestly deserves way more foot traffic. It's a family run spot and the customer service was genuinely great. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel taken care of. We started with the papaya salad and it was super fresh and really flavorful. For entrees, we got the avocado curry (our first time trying anything like that) and it was surprisingly delicious. We also ordered the pad see ew, and we loved it. I try pad see ew (drunken noodles) at basically every Thai spot, and this one is the best I've had so far. If you're in the area, don't skip this place.

Well this Thai food was a recommendation from family that lives right in that area. Wonderfully delicious and just what we needed! This was a take out order and staff were very kind! The food was so amazing the crack chicken stands up to the name, spicy and delicious. The soup was spicy soothing and delicious. Would definitely order again when back in town.

Food - everything was very tasty! The portion sizes were also generous and there were a lot of good options on the happy hour menu. The cocktails were excellent as well. Service - the service was outstanding! Very attentive and made great suggestions. Also very kind and personable staff. Everything came out pretty quickly too. Ambiance - it's a cute little place. Very bright and fun decor. A cool spot for some drinks with friends or for a small group meal.

    Lunch special

Had a wonderful lunch at Thai On 1 today. I had spent the morning walking the waterfront and then up to the Olympic Sculpture garden and was super hungry. Looking at what was around, this place popped up and was open all day until 9. They have lunch specials until 3, as well-SOLD! Really nice space that's bright and sunny. I also needed to charge my phone and asked for a table near an outlet, which they were happy to accommodate. I got the tofu basil lunch special which came with the tofu and veggies, along with a small spring roll, a side of pad Thai and brown rice. It was a nice variety of a little bit of everything. Excellent food and portions were just right. It definitely fueled me for the rest of the day's adventures in Seattle.

We were in Seattle to board a ship the next day. We walked around the Queen Area, near our hotel and passed by this restaurant. The meal was tasty, most especially the Panang and crab fried rice. There was only one person on staff to greet, take our order and serve but it was done efficiently and did the best to get to us as quickly as possible. The dining room was cozy but clean and pleasant. Glad that we had dinner here for our pre cruise dinner!

It is one of the…read morebest Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Time to try it out on a beautiful Spring day in Seattle. It's located close to Pike Place Market so planning a fun day involving these two places was a breeze. The restaurant had a beautiful Thai interior. The chairs we were seated in were not that comfortable, however. Service was efficient and straightforward. We ordered an appetizer and two dishes. The dishes were salmon fried rice and Pad Sei-Iew. I feel bad but we were not that impressed with their food. Fried rice was really salty and Pad Sei-Iew was also on the saltier side. I am not sure if we will return given the lackluster quality of the foods. Perhaps when we have another outing in the downtown area, we might give it a try again to try other dishes.

When entering they had a live keyboardist and singer playing Valerie which I was a fan of. We stopped in at 10pm on a week night and were sat right away and service was prompt and friendly. We chose fried calamari for an appetizer which was super delicious. My boyfriend thought the sauce that came with the calamari was too spicy for his liking but for me it was super sweet and paired perfectly with the calamari. We enjoyed the appetizer thoroughly and I would say it was my favorite part of the meal. My man ordered his favorite Thai dish Panang chicken Curry spice level 1. He said his meal was delicious but big portion so we both took to go our leftovers. I tried the curry and it was super tasty. I ordered my go to prawns Pad Thai and chose spice level 3. The Pad Thai was delicious and large portion but level 3 was not spicy at all so if you love spicy like me choose above level 3. Not the best Pad Thai I've ever had being honest but still yummy especially for late night. Definitely a great late night choice with large portions!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
