Small place near Seattle Center. My partner and I came here after the No Kings protest and were able to be seated pretty quickly for it being so busy. The restaurant is small but busy. The prices are very reasonable for Seattle. We plan to come again soon and try the duck curry and pad Thai next. Crab fried rice: 4.5/5, very tasty, wish there was more crab Tofu Red curry: 5/5, my partner is so picky about Thai curry but we both loved this one Thai tea: 5/5, yummy, creamy

We are so glad we came across this Thai food restaurant during our trip to Seattle. Service was quick and the server answered our questions thoroughly and provided recommendations about menu items. My family and I ordered different plates to share: the green curry with chicken and jasmine rice, pad kee mao with steak, and the crispy garlic chicken. Everything was deliciously cooked to perfection. Curry was aromatic and comforting. We also had the mango sticky rice - perfect way to end dinner!

I was staying at the Maxwell and one of the nights I needed to get a little more food. I heard people raving about the Thai place right next to the Maxwell so I figured I might as well order from there. It was a short walk to the restaurant and after walking up a flight of stairs there was a restaurant entrance to the left and a little more in, a take out ordering window. I ordered my usual which is vegetarian green curry and tofu. The lady was really nice and asked why I didn't sit inside. I said I was just taking out and next time I would eat inside. She said, ok 25 minutes, leave and come back hahahaha. OK so I left. 25 mins later I picked up my food. Went back to the Maxwell and had a tasty green curry. It was great but IMO a little sweet. Otherwise, it was a nice meal to finish off the day. No complaints. I heard the papaya salad and chicken dishes were amazing.

This Thai restaurant is walking distance from the Seattle Center MPOP and main Children's Playground. Parking around Seattle Center could cost $20-$35 for an all-day pass in one of the nearby garages or above-ground lots. Usually you don't get in-and-out privileges. So it's important to identify food options in the vicinity. We did not know the nearby Armory inside the Seattle Center has a big food court. The restaurant requires some stairs and it has an unusual layout with bathrooms near the front and main dining room on the side. There was just one waitress/host so service is a bit less attentive though friendly. The food itself is okay. The best dish was the Chicken Satay, with moist and juicy meat. The other dishes had some minor dings: 1. Tom Yum soup had great coconut flavors with basil and galangal but the chicken was way too dry. Dark meat seems to work better here I think. 2. Thai BBQ had good flavors but the texture could have been more tender 3. Shrimp Pad Thai was way too sweet I think, though my parents liked it.

I loved this restaurant. Some of my favorite food in the city. The atmosphere is extremely cozy. The service was great. We got a variety of dishes to try and loved every single one. Will definitely be coming back!

My son and I met for an early dinner here before taking in the John Cleese show at McCaw Hall and thought it was a great way to start the evening. We arrived earlier than usual for us -- about 5:30 -- and it was a good thing. We were one of only a few occupied tables, but that was about to change quickly. The one server on duty was quick to bring water and menus and take our drink and appetizer orders (Thai iced coffee and fresh rolls with prawns and Thai peanut sauce). By the time we got around to ordering our entrees, I could tell the kitchen was getting "in the weeds" quickly. I chose Panang Curry with Chicken while my son opted for Nam Tok Beef -- grilled flat iron steak with a sauce that I'd describe as a Thai chimichurri. My dish arrived first, so we tucked in family-style, sharing what was on the table and the moment, then sharing the beef when it arrived several minutes later. Both were delicious and, at two stars, just the right level of heat for us. By this time, the place was packed and the server was literally running to keep up, but she was very attentive despite the challenges. Don't know whether it's a family-run place and there is no one else or another server called off, but she was great. Also did a good job of communicating, though she was soft-spoken and the place was getting fairly loud. Especially if you're attending an event at McCaw Hall or nearby, I'd definitely check this place out, but be sure to make a reservation first.

This is another solid Thai spot, which is very conveniently located to my apartment. This means that it is quite close to the Space Needle. It is easy to order on their website and come pick up. I usually get the Traditional Pad Thai and the portions are always huge, it will always last me two meals.

In the mood for Thai food. We found this place up the street from our hotel. Very quiet place and they served our food quickly. Food was awesome.

I love the way this building looks. Everytike I drive by I just admire it. You gotta eat here one day to understand the homelike old-school charm of this Asian own restataunt. The winner here is their selection. All full of vegetables and more good stuff for your body. I can't get enough. See photos for quality and variety of ingredients. It took us so long to order due to so many yummy items. Even a few suprise drinks. Yes yes yes. All imma say is, Good luck picking just one, and enjoy.

They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

Even though I really wanted to love this place, this place was definitely overhyped; I'd say it's about the same level as A Ma's, which I also didn't enjoy. It might be because the place has gone super viral as we ended up waiting 80 minutes on a Saturday night, so quality control might be more difficult at this point. Tip: the iPad will say the wait is 30 minutes, do not trust the iPad. Hainan Chicken was tasteless and overcooked. The texture was way too chewy and was my least favorite preparation of the night. Gai Tod (fried) was better with a crispy outside, but still a tad overcooked. Gai Yang (grilled) was definitely the best version of chicken and is solid enough if you live nearby, but definitely not driving out of your way or waiting for. Rice wasn't super fluffy and I just prefer garlic rice over ginger. The chicken stock is probably the best part of the rice plates. Upside is the joint is definitely family owned and they do their best to provide good service in spite of the chaos. They'll take your order before you get seated, so the food comes out fast and are generally very sweet when checking in.

Vibe - When I walked in, it felt like I was in a nighttime district on the streets of Thailand, eating and drinking whatever they had available. The vibe was that of a dark ambiance, with neon lights shining throughout the restaurant. Hospitality - The front-of-house staff was well-mannered and courteous, and they seated us quickly on a Monday night at 8:00 PM. It was a relatively busy night. However, we ordered fairly quickly, and the food came out within 10 to 15 minutes. Food - Food-wise, we ordered the Fried Papaya, Crispy Fried Rice, Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and Crispy Pork Belly Fried Rice. Gosh, I have to say, I was blown away by the flavors and the portion sizes! Typically, four dishes can serve three people, but I felt like these could have served five. The fried papaya salad was lightly battered with a typical papaya salad dipping sauce featuring a base of fish sauce, green beans, tomatoes, and chilies. It was good. The crispy fried rice was served with lettuce wraps, and OMG, I kid you not when I tell you this is some of the crispiest rice I've ever had. It's hard to find, but when you do, you can't wait to take another bite. I thought the khao soi overall was not bad. I enjoyed that they put the fried noodles on top so that you can mix them into the curry when it's brought out. Lastly, the pork belly was well-cooked with a crispy, crunchy exterior, and served with delicious Thai-flavored fried rice! Drinks - We ordered the Thai lemon iced tea and the Thai tea cremosa. Both tasted good. Overall, I was very satisfied with this place, and if I lived here, I could see myself grabbing some late-night bites with the homies.
