Food was really good. Friendly and accommodating service. It's a really cute setup too. I've been here a couple of times and really enjoy their food and ambiance.

Food was phenomenal to say the least. If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. The employees were so sweet and friendly. Very attentive service constantly checking up and making sure everything was okay. The atmosphere is very homey and low lighting which I loved. Will be coming back to try other things on the menu but if I had to choose which was my favorite dish definitely the wide rice noodles with chicken!

The food was pretty good. The service was a little delayed because of the show, but we were still able to eat and get there in a very timely manner. The ambiance was cozy and it's in the first floor of a remodeled house it looks like. Definitely a solid spot for dinner before the show.

Pumpkin curry, pad thai and 2 side of rice

We came for dinner on a Friday around 5pm. We didn't wait but shortly after we were seated, the restaurant became very busy. We ordered pad thai with prawns, pumpkin curry, and mango sticky rice. Pad thai: the prawns were actually small sized shrimp and there were about 6 shrimps in the dish. We ordered level 2 spiciness as I cannot handle spicy. The first bite was a bit sweet but later came the spice. I loved it! The flavor was addicting. Pumpkin curry: the curry didn't come with rice so we ordered 2 sides of brown rice ($3 each). The pumpkin was thick and yummy. There were plenty of veggies in the dish. I tasted a lot of coconut milk than I liked but overall was good. Mango sticky rice: the sweet/sourness of the mango accompanied the sweetness of coconut milk well. Only complaint was I finished too fast! Service was great as they kept coming to refill water and asked if we needed anything. When I asked for spoons for the curry, the server also brought out extra bowls for us to share. What a lovely gesture! Interior had various items from Thailand and was overall clean. I'd come back!

Solid spot for some Thai food, especially if you're looking for spice. They have a great dining area with a front patio and the ambience is good I got the Pad Thai and you can choose the heat level from 1-5. I usually go with 3, which is the perfect spice level for me. If you want even spicier and can handle it, go higher. Be warned, however, the spice is definitely for real! The Pad Thai is also on the sweeter side here, but it was still a tasty serving. The portions are also fantastic and can last more than one meal.

Good food in a nice space! This is the oldest Thai restaurant in Seattle, and they make that clear from the sign outside haha. We had a large group and made a reservation ahead of time, but didn't really need it since it wasn't too busy inside. I tried the black rice pudding dessert which was pretty good - the black rice was well cooked, and the sweet coconut milk complemented it well. I did think it was a little too salty though. I also tried some of the pad see ew and drunken noodles, both of which were pretty good. This spot has all your classic Thai dishes, and do them pretty well but nothing too outstanding. It is also quite a lot pricier than some other spots. Nonetheless, service was very nice and friendly, and we had a good experience!

Most delicious thai food in Seattle lower Queen Ann area. Our work team walked over for lunch. We were delighted by lunch specials. Started with fresh spring rolls with shrimp and vegetarian version. It was tasty and the peanut sauce was perfect. Of course for me, I added additional spicy sauce :) Lunch of the lunch specials were served with pad thai and a pot stickers. Portions are big for lunch menu and most of us had to take the remainder in a to go box. Server Tony is super friendly and very accommodating. Ambience is clean with patio seating outside. If you're in this neck of the woods, hope you get to go and enjoy Thai Cuisine. Bon appetite!

I visited Bahn Thai recently to try out their lunch special and had a pretty good experience overall. The Good: - The lunch combo option was a filling option for under $20 (I believe exact pricing was $17.50 and you get pad thai noodles [amazing flavor], rice, and one chicken gyoza [which was alright]). - The ambience was nice and well-decorated. I personally would have appreciated some calm music in the background, but that's just me nitpicking. - The noodles were a highlight! - Our server was kind and attentive. The Not-As-Good: - The thai tea was flavorful but incredibly sweet--almost too sweet for my taste--and it was nearly $7! I feel that's a bit high for what you get. - I'm a *huge* fan of thai curries, and these ones fell a bit flat to me (I tried both the red and panag). The consistency was quite thin and the flavor just wasn't as strong/great as I would have liked it to be. - The prices were quite high for what you get imo--I've had lunch specials in NYC that were cheaper and more flavorful, but that may just be my personal experience. Overall, I wasn't wholly in love with this spot, but if you're craving thai and want to check out a solid lunch special, try this one out (highly recommend the pad thai noodles!!).

I love coming to this Thai restaurant for lunch. Not only is the customer service always amazing, but the food is delicious, authentic, good portions and very affordable. The inside has beautiful Thai decor. I always get Thai tea here. They are so very kind to substitute the milk with coconut milk for me. Sean has been our waiter and he is so friendly, kind and very attentive. He's the best. I've tried the red, Panang Curry the seafood dish, and the Pad See Ew. They were all delicious. You can select the level of spice. The lunch curry comes with an extra side of pad Thai on top of you rice which is so great because I always want pad Thai but also want to try something else. Parking is limited but available in the back of the restaurant in the small alley way! Overall, amazing customer service, delicious Thai food good parking and distance to the Space Needle.,

It's decent food. Nothing so good that I'll claim it to be the best Thai food or anything but it's decent. I ordered pad see ew because I was with a larger group that are not used to share food. I wish the pad see ew doesn't stick together but that it's hard for most restaurants to do so because it requires the proper fire. The blanket prawn appetizer is pretty good, not too cheesy and freshly fried. I think the service is up to par and the waiter is courteous. The place is big enough for a larger group and the restrooms actually smell good. Overall it a decent place for your regular Thai food.

I wanted to take a moment to leave a review for the wonderful dining experience my family and I had at this restaurant. The food was delicious, but what really made our evening was the exceptional service we received from Diane. Diane was incredibly playful and courteous, especially with my daughter who was celebrating her birthday. She went above and beyond to make our daughter feel special, she even brought a surprise drink for her. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that we will never forget. Not only was Diane attentive to our daughter's needs, but she also made my wife and me feel at home. Her kindness and hospitality truly made our experience unforgettable. The food was expertly prepared and presented beautifully, and we enjoyed every bite. We appreciated the attention to detail that went into each dish. Overall, our experience at this restaurant was outstanding, and we owe a large part of that to the exceptional service provided by Diane. I would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a delicious meal and an unforgettable experience. Oh and by the way, their spicy rating of 5 star is truly 5 stars, just wanted to call that out.

The food is fantastic! By far, the best tasting Thai food I've had in Seattle. For good reason, they get really busy on nights where there are shows or sporting events at or near the Seattle Center. It's rarely too long a delay, and the food is well worth waiting for... whether dining in or ordering takeout. When I'm hungry for Thai food, this has been the place I've taken family, friends, or just myself to for 20+ years. Located on Roy Street, they have parking in the back for customers and the old-style house restaurant is a nice atmosphere.

What's the apice level like here? My mother is pretty spice sensitive. Sometimes a 1-star spice gives her a hard time.

It's slightly on the spicier side - I usually order 2/medium stars at thai places but for Bahn Thai, I always order 1 star. I would suggest no spice and ask for spice on the side so you can add as you wish.

We started with a Lilikoi Margarita and Ginger Martini as well as Fresh Garden Rolls, which were quite generous in size (4 large pieces) and very good. Drinks were very good! We enjoyed Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. Pad Thai is a staple and was good, but if you want something that has a ton of flavor and a nice mix of noodles and veggies, check out their drunken noodle dish Pad Kee Mao. Appreciate you can customize heat level as well. Overall the vibe in this place is awesome! We had hoped to sit outside, but didn't make reservations, so were sat in the back dining area. It was very hot back there - not sure that is an everyday type thing, but next time I go I would wait for a different part of the restaurant than sit there. Service was super quick and attentive!

I will say, they were playing insane music on a Monday at 4:30pm. It was just screeching EDM- so eclectic that Shazam had no idea what was going on. Made it hard to carry a conversation. Also, whenever it is someone's birthday, they do a loud performance that disrupts the entire restaurant. Fun for a weekend for sure, but not my vibe for a Monday happy hour. Always love their fresh rolls! Big and filled to the brim with goodness. Their peanut sauce is great too, though we noticed that the peanut sauce that came with the satay was much spicier. The drinks are great too. Lots of fun concoctions. I got the lilikoi margarita and was very happy with it. Our waiter was attentive but really didn't know how to use their POS system and we were there trying to pay for a while since he could not figure it out. If you want amazing comfort food, get takeout, if you like the party vibe, go in.

They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we were looking forward to the bold flavors we've come to love. The visit started off a bit oddly. The front desk server, Tar, asked to see my wife's ID--even though she's 36 years old and we weren't seated in the bar area. It felt inconsistent, especially since younger guests nearby weren't asked, and it's something we've never experienced at their other locations. Unfortunately, moments like that made us feel singled out, and honestly it sometimes feels like they tend to pick on Asians, whether intentional or not. That feeling alone made the experience uncomfortable and will likely make this our last visit to this location. That said, the table service was excellent. Moo took great care of us, and Cece from the bar was attentive and kept our water filled throughout the meal. Unfortunately, there were a few moments that took away from the experience. While I was taking photos of our dishes, a young staff member alongside Tar appeared to be giggling and mocking me, which made things uncomfortable. It may not have been intentional, but it didn't feel professional and only added to the awkward atmosphere we already felt. Food-wise, there were some inconsistencies. The chicken didn't taste as good as we remember, and several plates had visible fingerprints, which was off-putting. The galvanized metal plates also gave off a slightly unrefined feel--more like cafeteria-style serving ware. Additionally, the sticky rice, which is usually presented in a traditional bamboo basket, was served in a Ziploc bag, which felt like a downgrade in presentation. On a positive note, the papaya salad and pad Thai were still very good and delivered the flavors we expect. We'll continue supporting Isarn, but we'll likely return to the Kirkland or Lynnwood locations next time. Sadly, after this experience, this Queen Anne visit will probably be our last.
