I went here on a Thursday for dinner with my best friend. Service started off kind of rough. We stood at the doorway for about 5-10 mins before being acknowledged. We sat down and the waiter was friendly and attended to us. We ordered the yellow curry spicy, and pad Thai spicy. Both of our dishes were chicken. But there are other protein options. The restaurant is small with about 6 tables and chairs. The walls were filled with art, but also menu pictures taped to it. Overall the food was good and the service got better. I would be back to try other things

Very small place but we were the only ones there for majority of our meal so it was fine. The service is so friendly and they make you feel like family. The food is amazing! Such great flavor and textures. I had chicken pad se ew and the veggies were cooked just right, the noodles were chewy and the flavor was perfect. I will definitely be back. They seem to do quiet a bit of takeout because it is so small so I might try that next time. But if you don't mind being a little close to others dining in was great because the service was nice!

I don't normally eat in Lodi, but was passing through and this place had better reviews than most places in the area. Definitely a cozier place that has almost at at-home feel for me. We were there a little earlier than prime dinner time on a Friday, so not busy at all and were able to sit down right away. The two people working the floor were pretty friendly and quick to serve us. The food came within what felt like 10 -15 minutes. The spring rolls were stuffed with a good amount of veggies, with thinner noodles than I'm used to, so the rolls were pretty dense. There was also an option to have chicken as the protein, which I don't see at all when I eat at other Thai establishments, but that ended up making the rolls a little drier than my liking. The sweet and sour sauce that came with it did help temper that quite a bit though, especially since I'm more used to getting a thicker peanut sauce with my rolls. I ordered the priew-wan because all the veggies listed sounded appealing after a week of heavy Thanksgiving food. When it came it was definitely heavy on the sweet and sour sauce. While very delicious, I did my best to left the sauce run off first before eating it with my side of rice. I wasn't planning on getting any dessert , but one of the servers did a decent job convincing me. How can I turn down a mango sticky rice at a Thai restaurant? While I don't necessarily believe there is only one way to make this dish, I was very happy to see it come out in a more standardized fashion. No other colors in the rice and a nice shareable portion of mango. Also, the rice was nice and warm, which gave a good contrast to the cold mango. I'd definitely come back here again if I'm in the area since the prices were good for their portion sizes. The staff is friendly and I'm always down to support smaller businesses.

I had a great experience at Thai Kitchen last night. I had been craving Thai and was recommended here. It is a small hole in the wall esque place. Service was friendly and welcoming as soon as we came in. I ordered the drunken noodles with sticky rice which was so flavorful, I didn't even need to add any spices like I typically do. They suggested we try the Thai tea creme brûlée which is an item they are considering adding! I really hope that they do. I had a couple bites despite not really wanting dessert and it was delicious!

I haven't really had a lot of Thai food or found much that I like but we tried this place on a whim and turns out I do in fact like pad Thai, I also tried their Num-Tok which I already knew I liked from my house holds personal recipe but the Num-Tok here was a different take on it, a lot of tamarind powder for my personal taste but still yummy. The basil fried rice was interesting, not bad but I wouldn't seek it out but that is just my palette talking not a quality issue. The mango sticky rice is obligatory and was yummy as well. Overall the price for the whole meal wasn't bad either for the portions and including tip, would definitely come back. Like most places, personally I'd probably bring my personal water bottle because the refills are never fast enough haha and it doesn't seem like they run AC or at least not yet in the season so it was hotter inside the restaurant than outside which was not a pleasant experience when trying to eat. Great food, nice to know I do actually like some Thai food!

Everything is super awesome!! The service is amazing and feels very welcoming. I got the Pad thai broccoli (i think) with tofu and mild spice, honestly some of the best tofu i've had. The tea they have is also really good! i definitely recommend if you want good cooked, yummy food!!!

Ok first of all this is the first time coming to this little hidden gem!! It's small but cozy !! The service was super great!! I had my Thai tea that I love very much and this place does them right!! We had the chicken noodle soup and a side of fried chicken and shrimp rolls!! !! Food was really good!! Fresh made to order!! We will be back to get them that last star!! If you are in Lodi come check this place out!! Very tasty!!! I will put picks up!!

My Mom really loved this restaurant. When she recently passed away, there was no other place we wanted to have cater in my Mom's honor, and we're so glad we did. The owner Lee, waitress Phon, the cooks, and the other staff members went above and beyond. As extra, and without any request to do so, they upgraded our tray of mango sticky rice dessert (my Mom's favorite) from small to large, cut a tray of watermelon, fried 40 extra pieces of chicken wings, and made a tray of delicious crab rangoon. Everything was so delicious, including the large tray of pad thai and eggrolls we ordered. The sauces they made were also on point, and they even roasted & grinded peanuts as garnish on the side. Our guests really enjoyed everything. Authentic, flavorful, and fresh. We highly recommend Thai Kitchen to anyone and everyone needing catering services. They were also very accommodating in letting me pick up all of the food early, before they even opened. I'm so grateful for them. For those of you who haven't tried this restaurant, you need to. The food is fantastic, and you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Thai Kitchen. My Mom would have wanted it no other way. -Anne

5 Star for Service. They were friendly and fast for service. 4 star for food. The pho wasn't that great. The broth wasn't what I expected. I expected more of an aromatic herb taste. However, the meatball was BOMB! Tastes homemade definitely not the ones you get at the Asian store. It was soft and chewy. The red curry was good! Did not disappoint! Stick rice was fresh and delicious like always!

This place is a joke. I came here with my family and we ordered chicken wings for my little daughter and they didn't bring her food until everyone else was done eating. I was so pissed. My baby was saying how hungry she was. When the wings came they were dry and crusty on top of the long wait. About 2 weeks later I came in with my husband for lunch and they did it again. Didn't bring my plate to me until after my husband was finished eating. Meanwhile the take out guy was zipping in and out delivering food and her excuse was that she had a lot of stir fry orders ....We were the only people in there until she brought out my husband his food. Very VERY POOR SERVICE!! Food is on the salty side and not that great. read more

I got the Thai noodle pho soup, Lao style papaya salad and the pla goong. All great choices ! It's very hard to find a good Lao style papaya salad in this area and they did not disappoint. Most Thai places that do Lao style papaya salad is always bland and NOT Lao style at all. The Thai pho is a game changer . I only ever get the viet style pho but thai style is different and delicious. The pla goong shrimp salad has so much flavor . Great job thai kitchen!!! I will be back again! read more

First time visiting today. Ambiance is traditional Thai in a small space. Servers were cheerful and attentive. Family business atmosphere. Menu has nice variety and familiar Thai dishes. Ordered Tom Yum Soup w/tofu, beef curry, chicken spring rolls and garlic noodles. Flavors were outstanding, very fresh and delicious. I will definitely make this restaurant a regular. read more

Today is a rainy cold day in Lodi... I was craving PHO....I checked it out on YELP and came across a small restaurant only 4 minutes from my home. Very impressive...The ladies working in there were EXTREMELY FRIENDLY. I now have a NEW GO TO place for PHO or other dishes I noticed while waiting for my order... Visiting back home from North Carolina really wanted some pho but found Thai kitchen on yelp with great reviews so we decided to stop in and the reviews are accurate it did not disappoint! Definitely a hole in the wall / mom and pop type of joint.. minimal seating area maybe could fit about 15 people max and one single coed but very clean bathroom off to the back. Food was amazing I had the beef noodle soup & the Fried Fish 10/10 authentic Thai food, service was also great! read more

Not the nicest Thai restaurant I've ever been to, but again, I don't really care as long as it is clean, and the food is good. It is indeed great! Loved all the dishes. We had BBQ Pork, delicious with a flavorful dipping sauce. Hubby ordered the Crispy noodles which I will equate to Hong Kong style chow mein, but better. He ordered it with beef. Loved the Pad Prik King with Tofu. Reminds me of my favorite place in Tahoe. Yellow Curry with Chicken had awesome flavor, but I will admit that I prefer my curry thicker than how it came. Delicious food all the way around never the less! We shall return! read more

I live near Turlock and was getting my hair done around the corner with my daughters and while we waited for our turns , I decided to pickup some Thai food. Let me tell you, the food here is amazing! We got the spring rolls (huge!) pumpkin seafood curry (delicious!) green curry pork (yummm!) papaya salad with grilled shrimp (OmG!) and veggie pad thai! Sooooo good! Everything was wonderful and I can truly say I will come back JUST for the food! The portions are very generous! You will not be disappointed read more

Flavors Great customer service Clean restaurant Great location Pad Tai sauce Overall this location has the whole package and we would eat here everyday if we lived in town. We are obsessed with pad tai and the sauce sells us everywhere we go depending on how it is. The restaurant was very clean and restrooms as well. The coconut curry dish was amazing as well! We highly suggest coming here to try it out and they do takeout as well! read more

Thai Kitchen is probably the best Thai food I've had in the Lodi/Stockton area. The pad see ew was so flavorful and the portions were large, which is what stood out to me compared to other Thai restaurants around. The Thai tea was to die for with the right flavor balance. I would definitely come here again and recommend to anyone who wants authentic, delicious Thai food! read more

My friends and I came here after a long weekend backpacking, so we were eager to get some freshly cooked food. I ended up trying to Kao Soy here and I though it was only okay. The broth seemed a little more heavy on the yellow curry taste over the red curry I was used to, the noodles were kind of boring and there wasn't a crispy one at the top at like other places. Overall the dish was just okay and at points I felt there wasn't enough broth, and at other there were just too many noodles that didn't taste that good. That being said, the dish wasn't all that bad, it was decent enough to hit the craving my friend's dishes looked a bit better tasting. read more

I love this place! I go here 3 to 4 times a month for dinner for about 5 years now and never had a bad experience. Staff is friendly and wait times aren't bad. And price is very reasonable. Food is good as well, I love their BBQ Pork, Red Curry Chicken, Chicken Pra Ram and Ground Chicken Gra Pao. Serving size is good, my leftovers are good for lunch for work. I highly recommend this place for ppl who are always on the go and don't have much time to cook after work. read more

First off, I can not believe food this good is in Lodi. This is a town that is not well known for its diversity in cuisine, so anytime a "ethnic" restaurant opens I usually am a little apprehensive to dine there, because they usually whitewash the dishes or they just aren't good. This is not the story here, the food is very flavorful and the portions are rather large, so don't expect to feel hungry after leaving this restaurant. I personally got a veggie pho, (which is not traditionally a Thai dish it is actually Vietnamese), and it was delicious. The broth was very flavorful and the pho had lots of vegetables in it. The broth itself is very flavorful and you can taste the warm spices in the broth. We also purchased an order of the veggie rolls, which came with a sweet sauce. Overall, it was a great dinner, at an amazing restaurant. I still can't believe food this good exists in this town, but I am so stoked to have found it!!! read more

Very disappointing, I ordered pad Thai .. I don't know what noodles I got here but nothing like their pictures on website Also the basil rice nothing like pictures I usual order Thai from other restaurant but they are closed I paid a lot for this .. I can't even call them cause they don't understand me .. I will not be back .. waste of my money read more

LOOOOOVE! Thoroughly impressed with Thai Kitchen. I've been looking for a true taste of Thai food. Like, home cooked by yai (Grandma in Thai)Thai food. This place didn't disappoint not one bit. The YOUNG lady that holds down the front of the house is a delight. Very friendly, witty and attentive for her age. The restaurant itself feels like your eating at someone's home. Small but inviting. The menu was very simple, it had everything you'd expect at a Thai place. Prices were very reasonable as well. Wait, I take that back. The prices are exceptional in relation to the amount of food they serve you lol. The Man and I went alone, could've easily taken 2 more people and been satisfied with the 3 dishes we ordered. Ordered veggie pad thai- with the wide noodles instead, papaya salad with 5 chilies (could've gone hotter), veggie basil fried rice with tofu and Thai tea. Spent about $35. The food came out piping hot and smelling super bomb. The Mans fav were the pad Thai and papaya salad. He thinks the rice was a tad bit over cooked. I agree. However it didn't take away any shine for me. For sure going back and ordering different things on the menu! read more

Just a heads up if you don't like spicy I would not recommend medium. It was pretty hot even though I am a spicy kinda gal. Probably why their name is spice it up -- they did not hold back. After a while though the spice went away. The garlic ribs were crispy and tasty. Also enjoyed the papaya salad with mild heat. Extremely fresh and crunchy.

The one who had the Beef Wellington said it was worth it. There were two in the group that ordered the beef stroganoff that weren't able to fjnish their dish. We all forgot about the shepherds pie--maybe next time.

The BBQ Pork with Rice lunch dish that I had is deserving of 5 stars. The flavor was amazing! The salad that came with it was fresh with an extremely tasty dressing. I ordered Thai Ice Coffee too. It was also delicious and served in a pint glass! I dined in and though Thai Kitchen has an interesting space, it is a bit rough around the edges. That is why I reduced their rating to 4 stars. 5 plus for the food I enjoyed and less than 4 due to wear and tear. The staff I encountered were nice. My food order was served quickly-but by no means rushed. Quite a few folks came in to pick up their to go orders. For the wonderful flavor of the food I had and the large portion, it was an incredible value. My lunch plus drink was $10 and change. Amazing! Eat here. It is truly delicious.
