    Pad se ew with chicken
    Becca D.

Very small place but we were the only ones there for majority of our meal so it was fine. The service is so friendly and they make you feel like family. The food is amazing! Such great flavor and textures. I had chicken pad se ew and the veggies were cooked just right, the noodles were chewy and the flavor was perfect. I will definitely be back. They seem to do quiet a bit of takeout because it is so small so I might try that next time. But if you don't mind being a little close to others dining in was great because the service was nice!

I had a great experience at Thai Kitchen last night. I had been craving Thai and was recommended here. It is a small hole in the wall esque place. Service was friendly and welcoming as soon as we came in. I ordered the drunken noodles with sticky rice which was so flavorful, I didn't even need to add any spices like I typically do. They suggested we try the Thai tea creme brûlée which is an item they are considering adding! I really hope that they do. I had a couple bites despite not really wanting dessert and it was delicious!

Everything is super awesome!! The service is amazing and feels very welcoming. I got the Pad thai broccoli (i think) with tofu and mild spice, honestly some of the best tofu i've had. The tea they have is also really good! i definitely recommend if you want good cooked, yummy food!!!

I haven't really had a lot of Thai food or found much that I like but we tried this place on a whim and turns out I do in fact like pad Thai, I also tried their Num-Tok which I already knew I liked from my house holds personal recipe but the Num-Tok here was a different take on it, a lot of tamarind powder for my personal taste but still yummy. The basil fried rice was interesting, not bad but I wouldn't seek it out but that is just my palette talking not a quality issue. The mango sticky rice is obligatory and was yummy as well. Overall the price for the whole meal wasn't bad either for the portions and including tip, would definitely come back. Like most places, personally I'd probably bring my personal water bottle because the refills are never fast enough haha and it doesn't seem like they run AC or at least not yet in the season so it was hotter inside the restaurant than outside which was not a pleasant experience when trying to eat. Great food, nice to know I do actually like some Thai food!

Their rare steak pho was soooo delicious. Best place to go. I wish they delivery though. You need to try this this, especially on a rainy day.

My Mom really loved this restaurant. When she recently passed away, there was no other place we wanted to have cater in my Mom's honor, and we're so glad we did. The owner Lee, waitress Phon, the cooks, and the other staff members went above and beyond. As extra, and without any request to do so, they upgraded our tray of mango sticky rice dessert (my Mom's favorite) from small to large, cut a tray of watermelon, fried 40 extra pieces of chicken wings, and made a tray of delicious crab rangoon. Everything was so delicious, including the large tray of pad thai and eggrolls we ordered. The sauces they made were also on point, and they even roasted & grinded peanuts as garnish on the side. Our guests really enjoyed everything. Authentic, flavorful, and fresh. We highly recommend Thai Kitchen to anyone and everyone needing catering services. They were also very accommodating in letting me pick up all of the food early, before they even opened. I'm so grateful for them. For those of you who haven't tried this restaurant, you need to. The food is fantastic, and you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Thai Kitchen. My Mom would have wanted it no other way. -Anne

5 Star for Service. They were friendly and fast for service. 4 star for food. The pho wasn't that great. The broth wasn't what I expected. I expected more of an aromatic herb taste. However, the meatball was BOMB! Tastes homemade definitely not the ones you get at the Asian store. It was soft and chewy. The red curry was good! Did not disappoint! Stick rice was fresh and delicious like always!

This is a great little Thai restaurant hidden away in downtown Lodi. I placed an order for pick up and I got their Pork Garlic Noodles. The restaurant is very small and can only seat like about 15 people. The employee was really nice and friendly. The food was delicious. It had just the right amount of seasoning and it was kept nice and hot with the foil that they use in the to go containers. The prices are very reasonable and I'll definitely be back to try other items on their menu.

I came across this restaurant as I waited for some friends and was very surprised! The restaurant itself is small but the staff are very friendly and I was seated right away. I ordered the chicken noodle soup and it was delicious! I am definitely glad I decided to stop by here. Many people were coming in and out, picking up their take-out orders, indicating it's a popular choice in this area.

I've had excellent service in Lodi all day! Very tasty soup.. I forgot the name but this was a small. It was coconut milk based broth with chicken and mushrooms and I believe lemongrass. It is soooo good. The wait staff was polite and friendly. The place was nice and cool on this hot day!

hate having to write this review because, as a small business owner myself, I try to be empathetic…read moreand supportive of other businesses. That said, this experience needs to be shared -- especially given the complete lack of concern for customer experience and food safety. I'm visiting the area for the weekend and decided to grab soup dumplings with a friend. It was our "cheat day," so we ordered about $60 worth of food, which wouldn't have been an issue if it had been edible. We ordered two lunch combo plates, pork bao buns, and pork and vegetable dumplings. Food review: I ordered the General Chicken lunch combo. It tasted nothing like expected and was mostly thick breading covered in an overly sweet sauce that was supposed to be spicy. The rice was honestly the highlight of my meal -- though rice is hard to mess up... or so I thought, considering how sick I am while writing this, and that was mostly what I ate. My friend ordered the orange chicken, which looked and tasted exactly like mine--again, mostly breading. Her chow mein was cold in the middle, which made it seem like it was microwaved. I'm not usually nitpicky, but this was already turning into a bad experience. The pork bao buns weren't as bad as the rest of the food, but once we got to the "dumplings," we stopped eating altogether and threw everything away. The dumplings we ordered came out as steamed potstickers. I wish I had taken a picture--they looked awful. We gave them the benefit of the doubt since this place is literally called Dumpling House. That was a mistake. I took one bite of the dumpling with the sauce provided (soy sauce with chili flakes), which masked the taste. On the next bite -- without sauce -- I immediately noticed a horrible flavor. I smelled the dumpling and it had a rotten odor. At that point, I was completely done. When I got up to wash my hands and walked toward the bathroom, I took a closer look around. I noticed tin serving dishes that staff appeared to be eating directly out of, and a "wrapping" station set up on a table with wrappers laid out and a container of wonton filling just sitting there at room temperature. I don't know how long it had been out, but my friend mentioned it was there when we first walked in and assumed it was fresh. We were seated for about 30 minutes, and the filling remained out the entire time. Pork should absolutely not be left out that long -- and clearly, based on what we experienced, it wasn't safe. I've now spent the last six hours sick in my hotel room. Not only do I feel awful, but I'm also missing out on activities I had planned for this mini trip. Dumpling House -- please do better. I don't usually get xlb to take away since it's very hard to maintain the hot soup in the dumpling but I tried and failed at the effort and don't at all blame the DH who warned me. Ah well had to try.

The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of spices that truly lived up to the name "heavenly." Every bite was savory and satisfying, with just the right balance of heat and aroma. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the dish was cooked to perfection. It's comforting, delicious, and clearly made with care. Highly recommended for anyone who loves bold flavors and well-prepared beef. I'll definitely be ordering this again!

When we arrived, our tables were set up and we sat down. The restaurant looked clean and there were a few patrons eating and some picking up food to go. Let me start off with saying that the food was really good. It was fresh and seasoned just right. We ordered the beef skewers, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, a couple of different curries, and sweet and sour fish. In regard to the service, it looked like there were only 2 employees working that day, the cook and an employee who was the cashier/server/table busser. This employee was friendly and did the best she could, but it was a lot for her to perform all of these roles. Our food was brought out in waves, a few dishes at a time. She hardly came over to check on us or refill our waters unless I asked. We ordered more food and it was a while before more food came out. When we were finished, the cook came out and introduced himself. He told us he was the only cook. This probably explained why our food didn't come out all together and why it took so long. I suppose that on a typical Saturday afternoon, one cook would have been enough. I would like to think that if I made the reservation sooner, they could have planned for enough help. Overall, our group experience was not the greatest. The food was certainly good. The service could use a lot of improvement. I'm sure if you don't go with a group, you'd be fine.

As a Japanese American who's been eating sushi since I was in the womb, I have to disagree with the yelper who recently said the rolls are too small and too expensive. The rolls we ordered were huge and the fish was very fresh and on par with M sushi and Komachi. Is it a luxurious loungy city style vibe? No. But the food is great and the prices are fair imo for the extremely fresh and delicious fish. We ordered two bowls of miso, salmon tataki roll (I only wished for more onions!), the spicy crunchy scallop roll (my new favorite roll in Lodi), snow crab CA roll, and I think the last one was a dragon roll with unagi.
