This place was awesome. We came here on a weekday evening. Its a small to-go restaurant that has waiting chairs to sit on while they are preparing the made-to-order foods but there aren't any dining tables. They have hot-prepared foods and made to order options. Unfortunately when we got there, the hot-prepared foods was pretty much gone. But on the bright side, we ordered food and it all came out fresh in just about 10 minutes, maybe 15 minutes, but not much longer than that. The staff was nice and friendly. Food came out tasty and piping hot. The prices cant get any better. You don't get that kind of quality food for thise prices. This place is definitely the place to go for authentic Chinese food for a GREAT value. Ill be back again when I'm in the area. read more

This place has been around for many of years. And also noticed that they were selected as a best location as a business to visit. The staff here was really nice when we walked in, had patience with us as we were deciding what we wanted to order. They have a very extensive wall menu with lots of variety and choices. So when you walk in what you see visually as food is not the only options available. I was happy to see that they had egg foo young. Which is one of my favorites. We ended up getting about for all cart items to go. All of which were very good. Pretty convenient location as they are also very close to a laundromat for those that may be looking to catch a bite to eat while doing their laundry. Pretty reasonable in their pricing as well. Our items lasted us two days for two full meals for two people. Very small inside, so just beware as you open the door there may already be a lot of people inside which may cause for a little bit of a weight outside. read more

Im so disappointed. Ive been here maybe 3 times and this made me not want to return. I ordered the combo #4 and a mini combo. Out of the 5 things I ordered, the only thing that was good was the egg foo young. The chow mien was bland, the fried prawns were filled with a mini "prawn" and air, the chicken in foil was oily, soggy, and tasted like chemicals. My husband found this place on yelp and decided to give it a try. They have a very small parking lot but you can park on the side. This is a very small grab and go restaurant. There's no tables just two chairs where you wait till the food is ready. The service is fast they have done already made things or they start making it as soon as you pay. We ordered two dinners it cost $16. They literally fill it to the top on the to go box it barely closed. They gave us so much food they got a box and put it in there. It took my son 2 days to finish all of it. He said it was really good. For the price and quality it was amazing. Definitely recommend this place if you like Chinese food. read more

I got the fried chicken, chicken chow mein and fried rice combo! It was sooooo good. Very affordable. I highly recommend it. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy. Would've preferred more flavors from it but it helped with protein and adding to the chow mein and rice. The fried rice had this nice sweet tinge to it. Ordered Chicken Curry with no celery and some zucchini. They charged me $1 extra for 4 slices of zucchini. The chicken was tough and stringy and had a fishy taste. What a shame. We lived in Lodi 14 yrs ago but now in Stockton. Husband swung by there today and brought food home. Awful. noodles were wet not oily and no vegetables in there at all. BBQ pork seemed steamed not roasted. Fried rice was dry and crumbly. Lemon chicken had no lemon glaze, and chicken was borderline spoiled. Ick on so many levels. My husband says "they should have to change the name now cause that's not Chop chop. If they served Chinese food in a nursing home this would be it. Top it all, it was $66. First time visit and I've lived in the area over 7 years. I tried the asparagus chicken chow mein and green beans with beef. Both were delicious. Prices are reasonable. This is probably one of the best Chinese food restaurants around. In my opinion it is the best. I've been told there is new owners but even though it may has changed owners the food is still great. I did notice a few changes but nothing too different. The garlic fried chicken has a different crust. It's not as thick and hard. I liked it before and now. It's just slightly different.
