For a small buffet, it's a great deal. Heavy on chicken dishes and fried offerings. The one soup was egg drop, and it wasn't too salty. People in my family also liked the stir-fried beef with wide rice noodles, kung pao chicken, and whole pieces of fried chicken. The one desert was sesame balls. There were also tempura-style veggies and fries. No fresh vegetables or fruit, but they had stir-fried broccoli. There were also egg rolls and crab rangoon. Simple tables and chairs, 2 bathrooms (with disposable seat covers available), and disposable plates, forks, cups, etc. Floor was just a little sticky. You just walk right in, grab a plate, and start loading up. Once you sit down, someone will bring drinks. While there, many people came in for the to-go options. My family and I were checking out quick dinners and they happen to pop up. Had no idea they were an actual restaurant where you can sit in if you wanted to, but with that being said great food. Good amounts too. Wasn't able to go inside but the bf said inside looked nice and the chefs were continuously making sure the food was hot and fresh. I usually get takeout here for home, but for a similar price, they also have the buffet to dine in and sit casually. Pretty clean. I really like their beef broccoli, but it can be hit/miss how much meat you get depending on what is in their generous scoop. The chow mein is actually pretty good in terms of flavor--I usually have to take out some of the cabbage though because they go pretty heavy handed in their stir fry. Not your traditional Chinese buffet but just as good if not better. Seating is pretty basic. But again, they probably have some of the best customer service we have had in a long time. As my daughter and I finished getting our food, one of the workers got our drink orders. We had three drinks so I offered to help him but he insisted that he take them for us. The prices are decent. Dine in is buffet style only. So if you're not that hungry just get take out. Drinks are refillable. The only dessert we saw was the sesame seed red bean balls. It would have been good to have at least another option or maybe some fortune cookies. The next time we're in Lodi we will definitely be back. read more

Food is on point for flavor, limited menu but all your classic items for an American Greasy spoon are there. This is cheap tasty bites done well. You get a LOT if you order to-go. Dine in is all you can eat but you really can't eat more than a plate. As other reviews have indicated, there's only a couple of beef dishes, but the beef is very tender. The broccoli beef was very good with tender pieces of beef and perfectly cooked broccoli. I'm all about the rice and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fried rice was very tasty, looked and tasted how fried rice used to be with lots of bits of barbecue pork and veggies, unlike the spattering of scrambled eggs and a few pieces of frozen veggies that you get today. And amazingly, they use good quality rice not the cheap stuff that has the texture of dried grains. The Hubbs actually cleaned his plate which rarely happens. One of the chicken dishes had hints of ginger which was fun and the salt & pepper chicken tasted like 5 spice. Most of the dishes were fried options. I ordered from Door dash and the food was soggy, the meat was undercooked and I had a hair in my food. I haven't been here for at least a couple of years and I noticed new people running the place and could probably be new owners. The food is pretty standard for an AYCE low budget Chinese buffet. The star of the show is the beef chow fun and the deep fried garlic chicken fingers. There's also deep fried boneless chicken thighs with the same batter, but it's too much for me to eat because it's greasy. There are quite a few deep fried dishes, so it will satisfy your fried food cravings for a while. The cost was 9.50 without tax and soda daily. I believe they switch over to dinner offerings around 3:30 pm, so the price goes up by a dollar to 10.50. They put out salt and pepper shrimp and well worth the dollar extra. The man and woman that runs the register and serve food are really nice, so a 5 star rating is appropriate. There's no dessert to speak of other than fried sesame balls, but I don't mind because my meal was less than 10 dollars, cheaper than ordering a hamburger with fries nowadays. read more

If you've ever been to the Galt Flea market, this place is very similar. The noodles are almost on point to each other. They serve Shanghai style noodles compared to regular chowmein which is a bit thinner. I find sauces hold better onto Shanghai noodles and allow them to be flavorful without getting soggy. While I enjoy their fried chicken, share with your family because they give large portions. Customer service is quick and friendly and the restaurant vibe is pretty ok. It's a bit open which is not my favorite but the food is tasty and affordable so I can't complain. read more

A large Styrofoam cup is $1.69 and refillable. You pay when you're done. If you pay by credit card, there is no opportunity to add a tip so be sure to bring a few dollars in cash to cover that. The people who run the restaurant are very friendly and nice. It's obvious that they recognize their regulars and enjoy conversing with them. The food is decent. I'm back and glad I came back!! I had a 2 week roadtrip up north, so I stopped by for lunch on the way there and dinner on the way back. Look, this isn't Chinese gourmet cuisine, it's solid budget friendly Chinese food and it's yummy. You pay for what you get and you get a solid product here. Nice small business and friendly staff.
