We have not been here in a long time and I'm part of the group that had recommended trying it out so we went... I believe these are new owners. Our server/owner? was so sweet, and accommodating. I asked to customize a few dishes and she did not hesitate. Hubby ordered the #2 combo with Chicken Chow Mein, Fried Shrimp and Sweet and Sour Pork. I ordered a number of dishes ( I love left overs) Mongolian Beef. I ordered the orange chicken with less breading/batter. It was made perfectly. The hot and spicy green beans were delicious (requested less gravy/sauce) and I ordered BBQ Pork Chow Mein with Small Noodles (similar to the soy sauce chow Mein I have had at other restaurants) there was an additional charge of $3.. but I'll pay that anytime over regular noodles. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is very casual. At some point it could probably use a makeover, but as I've always said, I've never dined anywhere where it had to be fancy. I imagine it's how they keep the prices more reasonable; but decor hasn't changed since we patronized the Italian restaurant 20 years ago. Went in and placed a takeout order. Nobody was dining inside but they had several people waiting for takeout orders as well. The lady working was very sweet and working hard. We placed a large order and it was ready within 20-25 minutes. Delicious! The beef and ginger beef was very gingery so beware they put big pieces of ginger in it, but it's tasty! Lots of leftovers for sure. They have a special on egg rolls and they're fried but don't have a heavy fried flavor, almost like they're steamed. read more

Super tasty combo food. I got the chow mein chicken, schezwwaan chicken and fried rice. The chicken is juicy and so flavorful. Definitelly a good portion of all three. I'd come here again and again if it wasn't so heavy. If you're craving Chinese food, this is the spot! There is inside seating for small and large gatherings and parking is right outside. What happened to Ming Sing?? The egg rolls I ordered were fake and probably from a frozen bag. When I took a bite I noticed it instantly. Its almost like having an onion ring but no onion inside of it, was just a filler. So disappointing since they were my favorite thing to get. The service only got worse when the lady at the front desk got upset and started to make a scene about not leaving a tip. She complained about having to serve us an we were literally there for no more than 10 mins. The ambiance is normal nothing special. Been looking for classic delicious Chinese restaurant all over the place and finally found it here in lodi, so close. I ordered COMBO #4 Which is chicken chow mein, pork fried drice and sweat and sour pork. So delicious, food tasted fresh, perfect blend of flavors, nothing over powered anything, rice was fresh too. We have not been here in awhile. We were really impressed with food quality and quantity. Service was also great. I had the Kung pao beef dinner with chowmein and steamed rice. The beef was some of the best I have ever had. Also egg flower soup was served with dinner. Prices on top of the yelp app are way more than they charge and don't look anything like them. My wife had her favorite noodle soup with green onions. Not on the menu but they made what she wanted. All the food served super hot and delicious . Great quality Chinese food and a big value for the price! I ordered three dishes thinking that it would be good for two meals, but I was wrong about that. I'll get three or four big meals out of this easily. The chow mein has thick noodles that taste great, and the mushroom chicken surpassed my expectations. I really like the subtle flavor of the sauce, and the fact that it's not greasy or swimming in a gelatinous pool. They got this dish just right. Portions are very generous, and the people were very nice, and the order was ready fast. I highly recommend stepping in and ordering from here. I am going to be very generous here and give a 2 star rating and the reason for the extra star is only because the lady working last night taking orders and working the take out was so nice...ordered some pretty staple things. 1-pot stickers 2-chicken chowmein 3-mongolian beef 4-orange chicken. Let's go in order asked if the pot stickers were pan fried and was told yes. Really uneditable they were fried, steamed and had a funky taste so those went in the garbage. Chicken chow mein pretty much the star except the noodles were so soggy which tells me these weren't fresh at all.... Mongolian beef I would have to revert back to the old Wendy's commercial "where's the beef"? Lots of onions and really no beef. Orange chicken an while I hate Panda Express there's is so much better and actually has chicken...this was all batter and really not desirable. The key here is we always save whatever Chinese we have for something for the next day to enjoy just like it is or create something else....I asked my wife after dinner what she wanted to save and she says throw it all in the garbage. We have been long fans of Chop Chop; however, we decided to try this place for something different and new. This is an average and round up of the combined scores of the three members of my family. The two parents gave it 4, I gave it 3. I truly believe the Yelp rating reflects the quality. I found some foods unsatisfactory and my parents found several satisfactory and delicious. We ordered through Doordash pickup (recommended service for pick up!) and the prices of each food item was reasonable. Pros: -Wait time for food for 3 between 20-30 minutes (more like 30)... decent enough. Not fast nor slow -Food still hot when it arrived and large portions -Szechuan Prawns were spicy and filled with vegetables -Potstickers had great flavor, texture and not too oily. Loved them! -great white rice -Mongolian Beef was satisfactory; not as good as Chop Chop, but good nonetheless -Fried Chicken-- the star! This stuff is popular and for good reason! Chicken was juicy and the coating was light. Not fatty at all. Very very good and highly recommended! -Crab Rangoons were satisfactory -Priced very reasonably for the amount of food and lots of fortune cookies! It was 70 dollars for 3 and we ordered a ton. Cons: -Beef Broccoli tasted weird... pretty inedible for me. Do not recommend at all -BBQ Pork Fried Rice- very salty and my mom felt like it had a weird flavor. Too much was provided to be honest. We ended up throwing it. I am sure we will eat here again. Hits and misses but this is good knowledge for next time. I would definitely try it, but do not expect amazing ness (my dad was very, very happy, but I was just not over the moon. I blame that gross broccoli beef). It is not my favorite in Lodi, but it is definitely passable and worth a shot. Apparently their were tons of orders, so it is popular. And it is open on Sunday. Go out and try! Food was terrible, (broccoli chicken, green beans chicken) tasted like corn starch and we had several chards of chicken bones in them that literally could have injured us. Pot stickers were deep fried despite "low oil" request and were as thick and dough-like as a pastry...almost raw. I must be too Asian for this place. It won Best of Lodi 2014. I have had trouble finding good Chinese food along SR99. Mind you, I don't want the sugary, Americanized stuff that is typical. There are a few Chinese restaurants in Lodi, but I was afraid that I would enter one that was run by VietNamese. Sure, they know how to make some Chinese dishes, but then, so do Koreans. They taste very different. Entering, I didn't see anyone but customers. Shortly, a woman arrived and seated me. She brought back a menu and asked if I wanted water. I needed some time, so she tended to other things. Then, when I had decided, she was scarce. Eventually, she returned, still friendly. I ordered Ma Po Tofu, a Shanghai-nese recipe, and iced tea. The sauce is sometimes very difficult to duplicate. I can buy it in foil packets, Japanese style, which is often better than going to a restaurant. The rest of the dish is fairly simple--mince and braise pork, add peas and tofu. Put everything into the sauce and cook like crazy. She returned with my iced tea and a carafe and it was elegant. Is style important? The iced tea had good flavor, and thankfully, no sugar. After a while, another person brought the Ma Po Tofu, and steamed rice, but I had to ask for chopsticks a second time. I realize that I look less Asian than I am, but trust me, tofu with a fork is not a pretty sight. The food quickly lost what little heat it had. The sauce had almost no flavor at all. The ingredients were reasonable, although the pork was a bit chewy. It seemed to be shredded pork instead of minced but that doesn't change the recipe. I've had plenty of Ma Po Tofu without pork at all. It looked great, but it wasn't. I'm betting the typical American-ized dishes were exactly as they should be. We kind of discussed this, as I asked about an Asian-only menu, which they don't have. They can make certain dishes, but they apparently don't do it much since there aren't many Chinese in town. read more
