One of the og spots in Stockton! Can get Thai to Lao food from here. Haven't been here in awhile but it seems nothing has changed since. Service went well. Menu has a variety of options to choose from

Chicken fried rice
Linda R.

Ordered food to go, everything was good and hot, tasted fresh and not like it was sitting. Spare Ribs were a little on the sweeter side for me, but still crispy and tender, not bad at all. Chicken Wings were crispy and flavorful, sweet and sour sauce was okay. Fried Rice, I had to ask for extra green onions, as good as fried rice gets. I'd recommend and return.

Pad Thai and tom yum soup

Love this place, I always get papaya, pad thai, tom yum soup and their pho. It's always a 10/10 for me! They are fast with their service too! I ate some of the food before the photo lol.

Did a quick pick up order for dinner last night. Luckily when I walked in there were only a few guests dining in so it was quiet. I was quickly greeted by two employees. Then a gentleman grabbed my order from the back counter. He thanked me and then place my order on the front counter. The transaction was quick and smooth. It's been a minute since my family visit this location. The main reason is that we don't order take out much and the location is quite far from our home. The food was still delicious but the portions were very small. Overall we still had a yummy dinner.

It's been a while since I came here mainly cause we don't live in town. If we did, this would be a regular place to dine in...place is always clean and service is normally good. As much as I love their food, I have to say I was disappointed in their service (for to-go food) I arrived right before 1pm and I placed my order for my "normal" dishes and was told my food would take about 25 minutes. I told her it was fine and even gave $15 tip on a $115 bill cause they've always been consistently good. I noticed someone just came in to pick up a catering order. I gave latitude on the fact that at that point 30 minutes had passed. I also noticed another couple of customers came in with previously phoned in orders. Another patron came in, placed his order easily 15 minutes after mine was placed. 35 minutes after I placed my order, I asked how much longer it would take.. and she went to check. She said it was almost done. Then the guy said sorry it took so long, and I walked out the door 47 minutes after I placed my order along with the guy that came in 15 minutes after me. I was so disappointed and regretted giving them that tip. Again love the food, but next time I'll verify how long it would take.. because had I known I would have passed on ordering food from them

Chicken soup so yummy on this gloomy day hit the spot

Great food, awesome service and took care of our big party of 20 . I had the pineapple fried rice with a side of the soup and a couple beers. The ambience is authentic and I enjoyed the decor.

Tom Ka Gai
Susan B.

If this rating were based on the Tom ka gai and chicken/cashew/eggplant dishes it would be 5 stars. They were delicious. Unfortunately, I also ordered the Pad Thai. It was terrible. All I could taste was fish sauce and old meat. Awful. The worst I've ever had and I've had a lot. And yet, they still charged me full price. Didn't even seem to care. Just said, "okay. It's just different than other places." I let them know how good the other items were and tried to be kind, but do yourself a favor, if you go there, do not order the Pad Thai.

The ambience is quiet, the place is very clean (which is a must for me for restaurants), the staffs are attentive and nice, good portion of foods, we love Thai Food so this is a must for us when visiting other places. The foods are delicious especially the Tom yam soup. Definitely our fav Thai place when visiting Stockton. Great good, great service! We will be patrons for sure!

Stopped by with the family for a quick lunch. The restaurant wasn't packed so we were seated right away. I've been here a few times in the past and have neglected to share my experiences so here I am. For lunch, our party of 6 ordered the following: * Papaya Salad (Lao Style) * Chicken Larb * Beef Larb * Chicken Skewers * Crispy Fried Chicken Wings * Potak (hot and sour seafood soup) * Combination Chow Fun with Gravy * Jasmine Rice and Sticky Rice Everything was prepared upon order. So fresh, well seasoned, and infused with traditional Khmer cooking herbs and spices. I was quite impressed with everything on our table -- from taste to presentation -- I give everything a thumbs up. The portions were quite generous because we even had to pack most of the items to go. I don't always rave about papaya salad unless it's worth mentioning, but I will admit -- these guys came through. The papaya salad was fire (make sure to order it Lao style and extra spicy). I'm looking forward to returning in the near future!

Combination pad Thai (X2 shrimp and barely any meat).

I have been supporting this place ever since we used to live in the area, and recently we returned for dinner. The prices are still super affordable, and the portion sizes are good for what you pay. I got the shrimp pad kee mao and my husband got the beef pad Thai. $14 for a shrimp dish in this economy? And $12 for other proteins? An absolute steal. I chose medium spicy for both, since I knew their medium spicy isn't very spicy. Both dishes didn't take very long to arrive. The flavors were just as solid as I remembered. My husband loved his pad Thai too, especially since he loves tamarind, and Royal Siam serves their pad Thai with stronger notes of tamarind. Do note that they also use thin noodles here for their pad Thai. My noodles were perfectly bouncy and soaked up all the delicious sauce without being soggy. My pad kee mao came with 6 pieces of juicy, deveined shrimp with the tail still on. Our waters were constantly refilled, and even though it was a quiet evening with only another couple dining in (it was also pretty late), our server was very thankful for us coming in. I'm glad that even after all these years, Royal Siam continues to serve delicious Thai food in Stockton. We shall continue to support them for the years to come whenever we're in the area and craving Thai food.

All the staff are amazing, it's always a welcoming experience, seriously love these people. It's pretty quiet during lunchtime, we go here on Thursdays and Mondays sometimes for lunch and there's usually us and maybe 3 other tables with people, and people at the bar, enjoying their food and their company. Wonderful Experience - Spice It Up Heavenly Beef…read more I had a wonderful experience with Spice It Up Heavenly Beef. The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of spices that truly lived up to the name "heavenly." When we arrived, our tables were set up and we sat down. The restaurant looked clean and there were a few patrons eating and some picking up food to go. Let me start off with saying that the food was really good. It was fresh and seasoned just right. We ordered the beef skewers, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, a couple of different curries, and sweet and sour fish. In regard to the service, it looked like there were only 2 employees working that day, the cook and an employee who was the cashier/server/table busser. This employee was friendly and did the best she could, but it was a lot for her to perform all of these roles. Our food was brought out in waves, a few dishes at a time. She hardly came over to check on us or refill our waters unless I asked. We ordered more food and it was a while before more food came out. When we were finished, the cook came out and introduced himself. He told us he was the only cook. This probably explained why our food didn't come out all together and why it took so long. I suppose that on a typical Saturday afternoon, one cook would have been enough. I would like to think that if I made the reservation sooner, they could have planned for enough help. Overall, our group experience was not the greatest. The food was certainly good. The service could use a lot of improvement. I'm sure if you don't go with a group, you'd be fine.

After waiting over 30 minutes, I politely asked the waitress what the issue was. Her response was that there were "a lot of things going on" and that we would just have to wait our turn. At that point, my coworkers and I decided to leave. It doesn't matter how good the food may be if the customer service is that poor.
