Small location, no inside seating and is always super hot inside. The food is always spot on and is just like your take out chinese food nothing fancy but is really affordable with good portions. The customer service isn't the absolute best or worst its what you expect when you go into a chinese take out spot. Cant ever go wrong with it. read more

Mandarin Village express on Benjamin Holt has the best Chinese food. I love their chow mein. They have some good crab puffs. Their prices are very reasonable and they give a large amount of food enough to feed the entire family good on calling Orders and very friendly. That's our go to for Chinese food. read more

We ordered the hot and spicy chicken, broccoli, beef, fried rice, pork chow mein, lemon chicken, & mixed vegetables. They always give ample portions and we got buffet style portions this time. The food is flavored well. They always give large portions, the lemon chicken is coated perfectly with a real authentic lemon flavor. I felt the spicy chicken was not too hot and flavorful also. The service is always very prompt and friendly. It is most of a to go type order place with I think some chairs inside to sit down after you order & wait but no inside tables. You could get food and sit outside in the patio area, which is covered. Great location and plenty of parking in the Marina Business center. I've been going to this place for years. Ordered 2 Combination Plates with 2 proteins and a side of crab rangoons (8) for $23 total. So cheap! They asked if I wanted soda with my combo plates or eggrolls instead, so they gave me 2 eggrolls for each plate I bought. The orange chicken and general chicken are good here! Tender, moist and not too sweet. The teriyaki chicken was alright, I wouldn't get it again because I felt like the marinade wasn't flavorful enough. The Broccoli Beef had a weird tang to it and the broccoli was a little mushy. Wasn't a fan of the beef in it either because it was super jelly like, had no type of bite to it. The chow mein here is standard, could use some more flavor and more pork pieces in it but will satisfy your chow mein cravings so I would get this again. Crab rangoons were very crispy but the filling was sweeter than normal, still good. Veggie eggrolls were standard and good. Service was awesome, friendly and fast. Prices are good! Here's our latest story: I just clocked out from work and my youngest daughter hits me up and wanted Chinese food. Our go to spot Sherman's is currently closed since the outbreak of Covid-19. So I did my search for places that were still open. Food for less China Express is shut down as well and Panda was going be our choice. But luckily I called these guys up and guess what? They are open for take out. Win win for good ole Dad. When I rolled up, I noticed hella cars. I was like wtf is going on. But there's curb side pick up for the other restaurants that are next door. Right before you walk in there's a sign that says only two people allowed. I was lucky that a couple was just leaving. But then again, you got fools breaking the rules and try to rush in. They got everything on point in here. The food is kept in a steam table. If you ever been to Panda Express. It's set up like that. Some people like and some people don't. I don't trip off those who don't. The have some pretty good deals. We picked out 3 items $5.95 that come with a free water, or Soda or two egg rolls. Our order was for my daughter. Chow mein, fried rice and beef with broccoli. Yours truly fried rice, beef with broccoli and kung pao chicken. The food was on smack. The rice wasn't cooked to my liking. The veggies were soft and the meat had flavor. To be honest the food put me in a food coma. After I killed the food . my inner Kung-Fu Panda straight knocked me the f out.. Food was awful, lacked flavor! Ordered the 3 item combo- chow mein, fried rice, sweet and sour pork and a piece of garlic chicken. Where to begin.... Sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was made with catsup along with soggy pork pieces. The chow mein had little to no vegetables tasted bland along with the fried rice. Garlic chicken used to really good, sadly not anymore! This used to be my go to place for take out! I'm disappointed with the lack of flavor and quality of the food that's being served! Worst customer service I have ever received from a Mandarin restaurant. No place inside of restaurant to eat pick up/order to go and that is it, but even call in orders should wait in line if their food isn't ready. No one not even an owner should make an entire restaurant wait for someone who got in line after everyone else. Only picking up understandable. However, if their food isn't even ready yet why aid in this persons entitlement by allowing them to skip all of those who have already been waiting over 10 minutes to order. Horrible communication with each other with customer. Also, the way they all mistreat that young employee is ludicrous I have seen that old man yell at her more times than I care to remember. Overall, food is overly greasy, any/everything counts as an item, nothing is fresh and you get crummy service. Rice, chow mein, and an order of any type of meat would be considered a three item plate. As opposed to anywhere else where you would get rice and chow mein plus two items. All in all there are better places to grab Chinese food. read more

Pro tip 3 item combo w/ free egg rolls. I always go beef brocolli, kungpao chicken, or general chicken. I always tip them 30 % because their prices are excellent, portions are MASSIVE and the service is great, down to special requests like 'extra beef', or no veggies in the chow mein. Not to mention in these times great food from good people at great prices that can satisfy a wide tange of pallets is not to be taken for granted; imo they are a neighborhood staple.
