    Bbq pork bun Siu mai

Husband and I went out for lunch with recommendations to try this place and ordered from both menus (ask for both). Food quality was inconsistent, especially for being right after opening at 11am. Food: Hong Kong noodles - hot (best item) BBQ pork buns - cold Pot stickers - hot Siu mai - warm to cold Spareribs - warm Service: The staff made the experience awkward and uncomfortable. We also felt pushed about tipping. After taking our payment, they never returned with our change, so we ended up leaving an $18 tip, which felt forced--especially given the food temperature issues. Overall, the place has potential, but the service and food consistency need improvement.

I go here for the dim sum. I have my favorite like the fried shrimp balls, crispy taro, baked buns, beef tripe, stuffed eggplants and their shrimp dumplings and Shumai.

We had my wedding here and though there was some issues with a few servers, my wedding was a night to remember. There are a lot of things to remember from a wedding and the food is definitely one of them. Thank you for delicious food. Winnie is a very great owner who takes pride in her restaurant, she was so happy to see how our wedding turn out and very accommodating. My lack of one star is due to two servers on which Winnie addressed. Otherwise I highly recommend the food here and wedding as well.

My Dad's favorite on their Dim Sum menu is number 22, the chicken feet with bbq sauce.

Been coming to this place for years. Used to be amazing but the last few times the dim sum always cold. And now they switch up on the chili oil. Just not the same anymore.

Here for my GF's wedding reception dinner . Ambience is like many Asians wedding I been too. Round table seats 10 , food is family style on a lazy Susan turn table . Live band in the foreground of the stage . By far the best fried quail , baked sea bass I ever had. I definitely would order this again here next time . Not so keen for the seafood xo sauce , and their fried rice , some part of the rice were raw and some were so mushy. other than that I liked the rest of the dishes we had. Plenty of parking spaces available. Part of the restaurant also offer dine in or to go orders when there was a private event .

The food here is really good, portions are huge! Fried garlic chicken never misses, we also had the orange & lemon chicken both super good as well. Their fried rice is good for rice, but what I do need to recommend is their BEEF CHOW FUN!!! Absolutely amazing, very slept on. The service is good, pretty fast for the most part. Sometimes certain things come out a little cold, but overall decent customer service. Not the biggest fan of individual soda cans and lack of refills, but with the amount of food you eat here probably good to not have too much carbonation. I came one time and it was very quiet and not busy, I then came on a friday night when a private event took place next to where I was eating. Music was so loud and people were doing karaoke, I personally enjoyed it and loved the atmosphere but I can see that not being for everyone.

Price point is very reasonable! I love that they have a menu with photos of the dumplings makes ordering super easy! Service is quick, we opt to do pick up or to go. The restaurant is a little outdated but the food is good.

I love China Palace, but after coming for years I've learned the experience can be hit or miss. They can get VERY busy so you want to plan accordingly whether you plan to dine in or grab takeout. The parking lot is great in the plaza, the restaurant is a lot bigger inside than you'd think and the staff are generally very nice and welcoming. On our latest visit we were seated right away- on a Saturday at 12:30pm- and immediately they had dim-sum carts at our table with options. This is my first experience with the dim-sum carts since the pandemic and my first time back at China Palace in as long. I love seeing the options, but there's always uncertainty if I should specially request other dishes that aren't on the cart or wait until they organically come out. This time we got shrimp and chive dumplings, fried stuffed dumplings and Shumai off the cart immediately and then ordered a full order of potstickers. We had mentioned to one person we were looking for sesame balls and steamed pork buns, but by the end of our meal we didn't see them come through and didn't have another opportunity to make the request. Maybe it was a good thing though, after we ate our original selections we were already stuffed. We tend to over order and have leftovers, but this time we had the perfect amount. I'll admit, I would have made room for a sesame ball though. This is a great spot for dim-sum and other great Chinese dishes. I also love grabbing takeout orders here, then you can order EVERYTHING.

Grabbed a late lunch on Tuesday afternoon and they were pretty busy. We were able to order from the dimsum menu and everything satisfied our cravings. The chow fun was flavorful. Pork turnovers were huge and tasty. Their shrimp balls did come out cold though. They looked hot but the moment I grabbed one, I knew they must've just pulled them out of "storage". The haw gar was a little thick for my liking as well. The prices are a bit higher compared to other dim sum restaurants. Some of their dim sum dishes are $7.99! They do offer a traditional Chinese menu and lunch specials seemed to be popular amongst other tables. I saw a few of them pass by and the portions are huge! So you can atleast get a good deal on Chinese lunch specials here! Service was fast and friendly. Food was good. Prices are just a bit high.

Very disappointing experience when we came for a friend's birthday. Looking at the pics this place appears to be a very cute speakeasy and when you enter you find that to be true. They have a few cocktails that are pretty creative like my favorite, their clarified fruity pebbles cocktail. We all got cocktails and only about 1/2 of the drinks were really appreciated. Anyway, what held them back here was definitely the food. I'll start off by saying that yes we had a light dinner of sushi prior to making our way over. So keeping that in mind, we still had the idea of getting some small bites. We didn't want to over commit so we started with what I believe was the Grilled Peach Burrata. Now if we are going purely off flavors, it wasn't bad and it was a cute pairing of ingredients for what sounded like a great bite. On first bite we found this to be a horrendous dish. At first we thought, there's no way the bread was really THAT stale and hard. We thought there's no way that it could be every single piece that was that inedible. We were sorely mistaken. When I tell you that little crostini was hard and stale I'm telling you this thing was so terribly stale that we immediately thought of how disappointed we were in coming here and that we would NEVER consider coming back again. As for the service we remember it being a tad underwhelming as well but not terrible. The only thing that in my mind keeps me from rating them a 1, and I don't do that almost ever, is that my cocktail was just my style. I'm an old fashioned kind of guy but I also love the cute, creative and sweet cocktails as well. This fruity pebbles cocktail also came topped with sort of a Rice Krispie style fruity pebbles treat that I absolutely loved. After ordering a 2nd one however I found that they are not very consistent with their drink preparations as the 2nd one just wasn't as good. The ratio of whatever they put in there just seemed off. I'll finish off by saying that I so desperately wanted this place to be good. Was it an off night? Is this just their level of execution? Who is to say. Maybe one day I'll feel inclined to give them another chance but who knows. I have also heard that they did a lot of revamping so maybe things are looking up now.
