I love how they have the chefs name at the bottom of the menu - Daniel Cortez. My Waitress name is Kat - it's a very nice restaurant coming inside and they have both inside and outdoor seating. A bit sad they didn't have the classic fettuccine Alfredo as an option. I went with the "quick bite" option they had in there menu. That comes with the choice of salad and pasta - I got the Caesar salad with the Rigatoni Bolognese. I came during my lunch hour and they were super busy! Well just finished a party of 8 having dinner at Mezzo. Our dinner was EXCELLENT. We started with Aranicini and Bruschetta- both were great with fresh sweet tomato on the Bruschetta and a great sauce accompanying the Hot crisp Arancini. Several had the piccata di vitello which was fork tender and deliciously seasoned with capers and garlic. My wife had chicken Marsala; she shared a bite; it was outstanding. I had a great experience my first time at Mezzo! Service was attentive and helpful as soon as we arrived and came to check in on us multiple times throughout the dinner. Multiple staff came to greet us and tend to us during the evening. Bread was tasty and crab cakes were crispy on the outside. I had never had an aperol spritz drink but was pleasantly surprised and I hope future aperol spritz's I try will be as good as this one. Rigatoni bolognese was delicious. Wow! The food, ambiance and hospitality was 10/10. I made it here an hour before closing with a party of 6 and the Mezzo team went above and beyond to accommodate. It took no more than 4 minutes for them to sit us down. I understand sometimes this can be a challenge for some restaurants especially when it's a little closer to closing time. Not the Mezzo team! We had family that came into town for the weekend and I am so glad they got to experience this place with me. The food was absolutely delicious. I wasted no time eating my dish. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese and I honestly would have licked the plate if I wasn't in public. Our experience was wonderful. Although the wait was about thirty minutes the staff made sure to check in every couple of minutes to refill our glasses or the bread basket. To make up for it the vibes of the restaurant were amazing especially when sitting at one of the side tables. The food itself was worth the wait. Once it arrived it was warm and ready to be devoured.
