Always good. Seasoning is consistently on point. Had more tripe this time than beef but that's okay.

Friendly staff that quickly took our to-go order as soon as we walked in. We've been to this restaurant a handful of times but always had our food to go. Usual orders are the Phnom Penh noodle and I have it dry (#1) and Beef salad (#19). Solid food and consistent quality. Their restroom is always clean so the rating should be 5+ stars. Haven't found any Cambodian restaurant in the Bay that's as good as Mitapheap since Nyum Bai is closed. If you've found any, suggestions are welcome!

Walls were adorned with Angkor wat framed paintings , other then that not much of an ambiance. I had a bowl of kuy teav phnom pehn ( Cambodian noodles soup style ) and we shared chai qua ( fried breads ) flavors for both did not stand out to me . It tastes fine but not the best comparison to other restaurants I been to. My friends had babaw cheam chrouk pork blood rice porridge & lord cha stir fry pin noodles . They mentioned the lord cha had great flavors and babaw was ok. Service was mediocre, friendly demeanor was non existent and not attentive

Cozy lil restaurant. The area has gotten a bit better thankfully. Cash only fyi, come prepared. For me, I loooooooove the lemongrass chicken with hot (holy?) basil. It just satisfies this meat and rice boy's tummy. Love the flavor. Also, kids absolutely crave for the beef and American broccoli here. It has that classic taste, that to me, is how beef n' broccoli should taste like.

Perfect comfort food! I had the chicken with tomatoes, pineapple , lotus root, and herbs. So good!!

2/10/25: Decided on a quick lunch here, since I haven't for a while. Quiet and steady. Food we ordered was two large beef noodle soups and a seafood chow fun with gravy sauce plate. I don't know if it was just that day, but all three orders were awful and tasteless. The beef noodle broths were just bland even with all of the ingredients mixed in. The flat noodles in the chow fun were a bit chewy and I expected more bits of other seafood. The gravy sauce to it wasn't slightly thick to my liking. Maybe, that day was just an off day, I have always enjoyed their foods in the past. Then again, I will just stick to my go-to orders of their fried rice and porridge.

    Beef combination kathiew

A very casual and authentic Cambodian restaurant. I come here for their pork combination rice porridge and the husband would get their beef kathiew (pho). We haven't tried anything else on the menu. Portion size I would say it's just right. This place only accept cash as their only form of payment. Restaurant itself could possibly be renovated.

Combination fried rice. The sausage is my favorite in this.

My husband and I enjoy coming to this mom-and-pop restaurant occasionally. It's our favorite place for pho. Whenever we visit, we see the same familiar customers, which gives us the impression that it's a very friendly and family-oriented place. The food is affordable and delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. The dining room is spacious and well-maintained.

My favorite would have to be the fried pompano and the service. Will most likely come back for the fish. The quail was good too

**cash only** Since moving away from my parents I haven't had alot of cambodian food... I really missed prohok ktiss and this place brought me back to my childhood. Everything I ordered tasted like how it should and it wasn't salty! Definitely come by if your craving Cambodian food

    Beef Salad
    Sereilor B.

https://youtu.be/6CIq2fp9dDg I ordered their Beef Salad, Salaw Machew Kreung, Squid salad, Fish Amok, Fried Fish with Ginger and Lort Cha. My favorites were the Salaw Machew Kreung and Lort Cha. The Fish Amok was pretty good as well. The waiter was attentive and the food was affordable. The setting was average for the neighborhood. Watch me eat the food at the link above.

Chicken over ginger rice with fermented veggies and cucumbers

I think this is a pretty decent place! I got the Prahok, Chicken over Ginger Rice, and the Eggplant plate with ground pork + shrimp! Eggplant plate 5/5 - This was my favorite dish! The eggplants were smoky and the ground pork was crispy! Really good combo and tasted amazing! Prahok 4/5 - I've never had this before so I have nothing else to compare it to but it was the reason why I stopped by. I thought it was really good! It's a fermented fish based dish I believe mixed with diff spices and coconut milk. So, so, so flavorful. It comes with vegetables to dip and if you want rice you will have to get that on the side. Really good first experience with the dish. Definitely on the sour side. Chicken over ginger rice 2.5/5 - Let's start with the good, the ginger rice was on point! A little crispy too which I liked. The chicken and vegetables on the other hand tasted a little old. My first bite was the chicken dipped in the fish sauce that comes with it and it just tasted a bit of to me. I found that eating the two separate was fine but together -- no bueno. The chicken was a bit dry which made me wonder if it was a little old. But still edible. The fish sauce was diff from what I've had before and so maybe I'm just not used to the flavor combo since I usually eat Lao/Thai food. Stockton has some really decent restaurants! Other pluses to this place is the pickled chili peppers + red chili paste which makes such a good veggie dip the way it is. They also have hot tea for a cheap price which is nice. They are also clean and practicing social distancing which is always a plus for me!

The big down side is that 2 of my friends got upset stomachs and diarrhea from there. So is 3 a little too high? I at best can give them a 2. Unfortunately it might not be worth the risk of giving them a 2nd chance. Service was a little lacking too. They gave us 3 sets of utensils, etc as well which is fine because I came after my friends. But when they found out it was a group of 4 people, I shouldn't need to go up and get my own bowl, utensils etc. I will say they did check on us frequently though once our order was placed and the food came out.

Their young male staff at the counter was so nice and sweet. Great customer service is always a plus for me! Food: Fried chicken wings: delicious! It was so crunchy! I LOVE it! Lortcha Noddles: this is tropioca rice noodles stir fry with Chinese broccoli & bean sprouts. Meat are extra charged. I added chicken. This dish is new to me. And wow! It was packed and loaded with flavors! Everything wre trench in the savoury sauce! If you haven't been here, it is a MUST try! I definitely need to return for more wings and try their other dishes. The Crab Fried Rice with Shrimp was delicious. They used real crab meat and definitely didn't skimp on it, which made every bite worth it. The Drunken Noodles were another standout. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not overcooked or soggy--and the flavors were spot on. One thing we really appreciated was the generous portion sizes. We had plenty of leftovers to take home, making it an even better value. The dining area is small, simple, neat, and clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. My only disappointment was the Thai Tea. It came in a can, which was my fault for not reading the menu carefully. I was expecting freshly made Thai tea, so the canned version just wasn't for me. Overall, I'd give Johnny Wokker Southeast Asian Cuisine a 9/10. Great food, generous portions, friendly service, and definitely a place I'd come back to--I'll just skip the canned Thai Tea next time!

Hands down!!! This is one of the best pho places I've ever been to in the Central Valley area. Oh…read moremy goodness, this place was phenomenal! They have a great variety of food and drink selections. There is usually a waiting list, and when we arrived, the restaurant was already packed. We only waited about 5 to 10 minutes to be seated while they finished cleaning a table for us. The restaurant itself is pretty compact, so wheelchair accessibility might be difficult; you would have to squeeze through, as there is limited space. The customer service was okay. While they took our order in a timely manner, getting water refills was a bit lacking. I understand they were busy, but for a restaurant that stays this packed, providing a pitcher of water at the table would be a convenient fix if staff can't keep up with refills. I think adding that small touch would make this place even better, especially since they attract a high volume of customers and serve such high-quality food. Customer Service: 6.5/10 Food Review: * A9 (Chicken Wings Lemon Pepper): These were so good and crispy--my girls absolutely loved them! The portion size was great. They were very flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. Lemon pepper can easily become overpowering if it isn't done right, but this seasoning was absolutely perfect. Rate: 8/10 * B1 (Pho Rib-Eye Grilled Beef): I thought it was very interesting how they served the grilled rib-eye beef on the side. It was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and tender, which made for a great dining experience. The broth was good, too. Rate: 7/10 * B3 (Pho Special w/ Combo Oxtail): This was my pho, and I loved it! The meat and oxtail were super tender, and the meat came off the bone so smoothly. I completely devoured all the protein, which rarely happens for me. The broth was amazing. Rate: 8/10 * Brown Sugar Cinnamon Milk Tea w/ Boba: To be honest, I had never tried cinnamon milk tea before and decided to give it a shot. It was just okay for me--it actually reminded me of Fireball alcohol (yuck!). It did start to taste a lot better as the ice melted and diluted the cinnamon flavor, making it less overpowering. Rate: 2/10 Overall Experience: We had a really good experience here. Even though the surrounding location feels a bit rough around the edges, the food itself was amazing. The customer service was decent, and the prices were reasonable. I'd highly recommend that anyone in the area check it out--it is definitely worth it! For parking, there are spots available in both the front and the back of the building. The back can feel a little risky since it's set up like an alley, while the front parking is right by the main road. There isn't a ton of parking space overall, but we were able to find a spot just fine.

An amazing home-y spot for Asian comfort food in Manteca :)…read more For appetizers, we got the bang bang shrimp and spicy wontons and both were delicious. I liked how crispy and sweet yet tangy the bang bang shrimp was. This was probably my favorite item we tried! The chili wontons weren't too spicy and they were really generous with the amount of shrimp inside. Shrimp & wonton noodle soup was def a comfort meal growing up, so I'm happy they had that here! Portion size was very generous and broth was tasty. Noodles were cooked well too, and I liked the filling of the wonton. We also got the curry ramen with katsu chicken. The chicken was sooo crispy, it was one of my favorite items. The bacon kimchi flavor had a nice spicy kick to it. The beef chili oil noodles was tasty and I liked the small beef bits. The bang bang chicken had the same sauce as the bang bang shrimp, but I liked how the entree came with rice too. The philly cheesesteak eggrolls were super crispy, and if you're a cheese lover, you need to try this! Overall, a really solid spot for Asian fusion food, and the servers were all extremely nice and patient as well. Service was really quick!
