Pork Belly
Melissa C.

tried green papaya for the first time and honestly everything was really good! i got the drunken noodle, the pork belly rice, and a thai iced lemon tea. the drunken noodle had a lot of flavor and the spice level was just right for me. the pork belly rice was probably my favorite though, the pork was crispy but still really tender and the portion was pretty filling too. we ordered a side of steamed rice with it! the thai iced lemon tea was super refreshing and went really well with the food. definitely gonna come back and try more dishes the next time we're around.

To go order of Kao poon
Carlos A.

Food great, service great, ambiance can't complain. Had a early morning this day that's why I was there at opening. So everything was hot , fresh and ready to go. I ordered dine in and a to go order. 2 spicy sausage orders, nam kao, kao poon, shrimp and pork belly spring rolls, large Thai tea. Everything slightly under $90. Portions are amazing The to go kao poon didn't fit in a regular bowl so it had to go in a larger bowl at home.. Their positive reviews are warranted. Great place. Will visit again.

Thank you to the amazing staff for helping to put a catering order together for my office lunch meeting. They are always so reliable on delicious food prepared on time. We didn't dine in, but the restaurant is always clean and spacious to accommodate groups of necessary. I ordered the drunken noodles, pad thai, pad se ew, crab fried rice, Lao sausage, riblets, chicken wings, yellow and red curry with chicken, and papaya salad both thai and Lao style Everyone loved the variety Will be back soon.

There was nothing wrong with the service, the space itself or the food other than Southeast Asian food is just not for me. The restaurant is a large space with plenty of seating and counter service. It must be popular as I saw a lot of Door Dash orders being picked up. I tried the chicken soup with noodles after having minor dental surgery. The soup itself was fine with thick chewy noodles which I liked. The flavor of the soup however was a bit bland. As for other menu items, I am no fan of fish sauce which seems to be in most of the dishes. If this type of fare is your jam then do give them a try. As for me, it is a pass.

Khao poon, very worth the money
Leanne N.

We ate the Khao poon there and it was a generous serving that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Compared to other Khao poons I've had there's a reminiscent flavor of crab that pairs wonderfully with the rich broth it's served with, and the shredded chicken in the broth is super moist. Service was fast, the place was clean, and there was lots of seating. 4 stars because the soup could've been a bit warmer, and would've wanted more variety of toppings on the Khao poon like quail egg, bean sprouts, or bamboo shoots.

This place started out as a food truck. Authentic Cambodian food! They use high quality ingredients. Is it your first time visiting? Walk straight to the register, order & pay first - they will give you a number and deliver your food to your table when it's ready. Ambiance: Large seating area with a high vaulted ceiling so it feels very spacious. Servers come by to check in you from time to time, after you receive your food. Casual attire. My favorites are: Thai-style Papaya salad, Tom Yum soup and their Drunken noodles. Food is cooked to order and comes out pretty quick. You must visit when in Stockton.

Spacious and clean. Great service. Easy to order. Friendly folks. A little wait with the food but totally worth it! We ordered: Tofu Spring Rolls with peanut sauce - huge rolls and freshly made! So good! Pad Se Eew - Very flavorful and delicious! Pork Belly Rice Plate - Amazing crispy pork belly that came with 2 sauces. Probably my favorite dish because I love pork belly! Would love to come back and try more dishes!

Hungover cure

I came for the Kao piek that I heard was amazing and that did not disappoint. Full of flavor and delicious. The fried rice had pineapple in it and I didn't like the strong taste of the fish sauce in it, it was overpowering. The cashiers seemed to hate their job and weren't friendly or welcoming at all. I had an issue with the fried rice that they refused to resolve or let me change even before it came out from the kitchen but the nice owner (woman) quickly resolved it and compensated me with crab fried rice. I personally thought the crab was strong and fishy and did not enjoy it but I appreciated her kind attitude and quick response to resolve my issue. The restaurant was clean and spacious but I would probably only come back to order the Thai tea which was amazing! And the kao piek to go.

This was my first time actually in the restaurant, I've been to the truck many times. Not only was the food really delicious. The bathrooms were clean. We didn't wait long for our food, the cashier and the waitress were really attentive and prompt. Would def visit again.

Ka Poon

I have been craving some delicious soup during this chilly season. So I decided to go to this very reliable Thai restaurant. This place is always so good and the service is very nice and quick. The place is very clean inside and quite spacious. I am never disappointed when I eat here. I came across this gem because it was featured on Food Network. I always order the Ka poon soup. Its flavor is always spot on. It has a nice small kick and the soup is so creamy and yummy. The chicken in it is perfectly cooked and tender. It is genuinely a must when you are craving something to warm your stomach. I also ordered this time around the Tom Yum chicken soup. It comes in a metal pot and the server lights it at your table. So not only does it look pretty cool; it tastes very good as well. The soup is piping hot so make sure you are careful when eating it. The flavor of this soup is slightly sweet because of the pineapple chunks in it, a little lemony citrusy flavor due to the lemon grass and the Kefir lime they give you on the side as garnish. Everything inside including the chicken, onions , tomatoes, mushrooms are cooked to perfection. I highly recommend you try this place. It will not disappoint!

I love the papaya salad, but I'm allergic to papaya. I love it because of the sauce, can I replace papaya with white cabbages and tomatoes?

It does contain coconut milk as well as their curry. Alot of south east asian dishes contain coconut milk so allergen alert beware!

Wonderful Experience - Spice It Up Heavenly Beef…read more I had a wonderful experience with Spice It Up Heavenly Beef. The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of spices that truly lived up to the name "heavenly." Every bite was savory and satisfying, with just the right balance of heat and aroma. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the dish was cooked to perfection. It's comforting, delicious, and clearly made with care. Highly recommended for anyone who loves bold flavors and well-prepared beef. I'll definitely be ordering this again!

When we arrived, our tables were set up and we sat down. The restaurant looked clean and there were a few patrons eating and some picking up food to go. Let me start off with saying that the food was really good. It was fresh and seasoned just right. We ordered the beef skewers, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, a couple of different curries, and sweet and sour fish. In regard to the service, it looked like there were only 2 employees working that day, the cook and an employee who was the cashier/server/table busser. This employee was friendly and did the best she could, but it was a lot for her to perform all of these roles. Our food was brought out in waves, a few dishes at a time. She hardly came over to check on us or refill our waters unless I asked. We ordered more food and it was a while before more food came out. When we were finished, the cook came out and introduced himself. He told us he was the only cook. This probably explained why our food didn't come out all together and why it took so long. I suppose that on a typical Saturday afternoon, one cook would have been enough. I would like to think that if I made the reservation sooner, they could have planned for enough help. Overall, our group experience was not the greatest. The food was certainly good. The service could use a lot of improvement. I'm sure if you don't go with a group, you'd be fine.

After waiting over 30 minutes, I politely asked the waitress what the issue was. Her response was that there were "a lot of things going on" and that we would just have to wait our turn. At that point, my coworkers and I decided to leave. It doesn't matter how good the food may be if the customer service is that poor. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant, the service was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this restaurant, especially during lunchtime. If I could give zero stars, I would.
