Ordered a Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli through Doordash. The description states it comes with fish sauce which is what was expected to come with for a Vermicelli dish, without it is dry and bland. Called over and the staff member was very dismissive and made it sound like it is our fault the description on the doordash menu is completely wrong and commented "He will let the owner know" and ended the call. Dining in the place is nice but ordering online has ruin their reputation and clearly shows their lack of respect for online customer. I really wanted to like this place, but a few things missed the mark. First, I didn't care for the 2.5% takeout fee, not sure why that's even necessary. The shrimp rolls didn't look too good, so I didn't end up eating them. Also, they used plastic containers for the pho, which isn't ideal for hot soup. Styrofoam would be a much safer choice since plastic and heat don't mix well. By the time I got home (about a 12-minute drive), my pho was room temperature. My husband and I were on a trip and decided to stop by to have some pho and vermicelli. The restaurant is pristine and the decoration is so modern, it's such a vibe. The service was quick and our servers were amazing. The servers did such a wonderful job checking up on us, refilling our water and making sure we were having a good time. They also made sure to keep all the tables clean and ready asap. The food was superb, it exceeded our expectations. The pho broth was so rich and smooth, super fulfilling. I took my granddaughter to lunch today as we were both craving Vietnamese food and decided to try Pho Saigon Bay in Lodi. The modest exterior is quite the contrast from the inviting atmosphere and decor of the interior and dining room. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted and led to a table in the spacious restaurant. Within minutes we were served water, menus and beverage offers. The menu offered a variety of appetizers and we ordered their crispy spring rolls. I also ordered their large combination beef pho bowl which had raw beef, brisket and tripe. A smaller bowl is offered for $3 less but I was hungry! My granddaughter had a chicken pho bowl that was very plentiful and she was only able to eat about half of it. I however had no problem devouring the delicious noodles and accoutrements of fresh jalapeño, bean sprouts and basil. The spring rolls came after the pho, which I thought was a bit odd but were delicious nonetheless...hot, crispy and served with a choice of either a traditional dipping sauce or a sweet and sour sauce. I paid a dollar extra to try both and I have to say that they were equally delicious. Overall our lunch was a very nice experience and the service was fast and attentive. read more

The most flavorful vegetable Pho! Hearty with plenty of veggies and tofu. You don't need to add much of the sauces since broth is so enjoyable on its own. Fast and friendly service. Our host and server were very pleasant and professional. We started by ordering the crab rangoon. They came pretty quick paired with sweet and sour sauce. They were crispy and delicious. For the main course we had the steak and brisket pho (large bowls). The presentation was good and the taste matched it. The meat was tender and lean, no gristle. The soup came with all the trimmings. Went here with family & all of our meals were delicious 10/10! The restaurant is near a a CVS, there is plenty of parking. The inside design is clean and modern. We were escorted to our table with a smile. As for food- fresh veggies, meat perfectly cooked and seasoned, broth very tasty, egg rolls fried to crunchy perfection and not greasy. Pho Saigon Bay owners from Stockton have now come to Lodi with newly renovated restaurant! Nice addition as the only pho in Lodi I know of. Location: Next to FoodMaxx/CVS in plaza, abundant parking Ambiance: Comfy booth and chair seating, modern relative to other pho places. They seat you, but similar to the Stockton location, you pay at the front register ipad when you finish your meal Menu: Pho staples, bun bo hue, vermicelli, chow fun, and grilled plates. Note it seems relative to the Stockton location, the price of each dish is $1-2 more. Each entree is $14-20 range. Two bowls of pho, one beverage, and one app totaled with tip to a little less than $60 Crispy Egg Rolls ($11 for 5): Standard asian egg rolls, crispy and generous on the meat filling. Nothing standout but pretty decent Pho Dac Biet (Small; $14): Generous amount of pho noodles relative to a Small size with a good amount of assorted meat. Brisket was a bit dry (wish it was slightly fattier) but broth was as textbook as the Stockton location The staff was nice when seating us and paying at the counter at the end, food came out reasonably fast. We came for lunch on a Friday around 11am when there were no other seated customers yet--I wish they came to check on us once or twice to match their more modern/nicer vibe--I could have appreciated a refill on water. If you like Vietnamese food, I'm pretty certain you'll like this place as much as we do. We got a a few other dishes so we could try. We also wanted to see how service for dine-in would be. Beautiful and spacious inside. The staff was wonderful, and if there were any misses, we would have given grace since this is their soft opening. But no need for us to, the server was super sweet, and very accommodating. Our drinks never went empty, and she checked on us a few times to make sure everything was ok. We ordered the Bun (Vermicelli Noodle Salad) with grilled Pork and the other with grilled beef. So yummy!! I was able to modify mine to have more salad than noodles to accommodate my lower carb needs. We ordered calamari, fresh shrimp spring rolls, fried shrimp and the regular fried spring rolls too. I lived in lodi for about 2 years and have always said that Lodi lacked Asian cuisine, I mean, it's Lodi, so, I get it. However, I remember this on the verge of being built and then the pandemic happened it stalled for quite some time--however, now in 2025, I came to visit & we decided to try it out! First off, the interior is so nice, I really like the minimalist, modern look of the tables and the lighting. We sat down and were given menu's. The menu's could have been put together a little nicer as the menu is pretty extensive but it's on 2 loose pages front and back--maybe invest in an actual laminated menu or just stick to QR. We ordered the fried calamari & grilled pork and shrimp spring rolls. The calamari was good but I could tell is was probably store bought, but, it was good. The spring rolls lacked filling and flavor & the wrapper wasn't as chewy as I would like. They come 2 per order and cut in half but the filling was busting out as it seemed it wasn't properly rolled. The lettuce to noodle ratio was underwhelming as it was more bulk lettuce than any filling--a little boring with not only being bulk lettuce, a few noodles and pork and shrimp. My Mom ordered special chicken combo vermicelli bowl which she thoroughly enjoyed and the presentation was great--a lot better than the serving/presentation at the Stockton location (which in my opinion, that location has gone downhill) I ordered the special pho and it was good but the broth lacked flavor and depth, it almost tasted a little too watery and it wasn't HOT. It seemed slightly cool upon delivering to our table. The verdict is in and we love this place! We have now been here 3 times and every time we have lived it! Great spot located centrally in Lodi nestled in a strip mall. Once inside very clean and updated ambiance. Service every time is. 5 out of 5. We have tried a bunch of different things from the Pho to other Vietnamese dishes to different appetizers and have to say haven't had one thing we have been disappointed with. This was my first time coming to this location. I usually visit the one in Stockton. Pho is one of my favorite thing to eat but most places doesn't have good broth. I have to say this is decent, but could be better. The broth needs to simmer longer, and it needs a little more flavor.
