Had a doctor's visit in Lodi and was feeling peckish. Looked for the nearest sandwich shop and up popped Big Belly Deli. Thank goodness we got there in time, they were closing soon. But Kiersten and her team never made us feel rushed. The tuna salad sandwich was delicious, the bread was so soft and tuna and veggies were fresh!!! You even get a pickle and chips with every sandwich! The presentation was perfect and the deli itself was warm and welcoming, good vibes!!! My husband and I ordered this place 3 times on door dash and each time it was fire! I get the turkey sandwich BYO and my husband gets the chicken chipotle sandwich and he raves about it every time. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and make every sandwich with love, those workers feel like working everyday! This is my go to sandwich place. So clean and spacious in here. Love all of the people working here! The owners and staff, everyone was so nice and accommodating when I was trying to figure out what to order. Originally I came because I needed a few items that they carry from Blessed Bakery. So glad I did! Sandwiches were delicious. I ordered the chipotle chicken, Belly Club and Pastrami. I had 1/2 of the Chipotle Chicken, and 1/2 of the Belly Club later. Hubby loved his pastrami. Sandwiched are generously packed with "stuff" all deliciously made to our specifications. Tried the two soup specials (Autumn Squash and a couple bits of the Chicken Pot Pie ) perfect combo with my sandwiches. Hubby loved the chili that we ordered with his meal. I often need catered lunches/ breakfasts, and have already talked to them about the options I'll need one couple of weeks. Looking forward to patronizing again soon read more

The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. We ordered a BLT, TSA, BBQ chicken and a spicy sensation. All of them were delicious and well portioned. They have skateboards hanging on the wall for decor and it goes well. I particularly loved the Chun Li one. Nice big area inside and out for parking and seating so that's nice and they have a nice menu for whatever sandwich you might want and the service is pretty fast also unless you go during lunch time rush than it's quite busy . It's a little on the expensive side you buy a sandwich for $15 or more then get a small bag of chips for free and then you have to buy a drink separately which is fine they pack the sandwich pretty good but it's def not the best sandwich and or spot I've ever been too like no wow factor but for local it's cool I just wish they stayed open longer . read more

I decided to visit in person yesterday because the food was so good I just had to go meet these people that are behind these amazing sandwiches. The restaurant is clean, has a lot of space and seating. The drink station and chips are available to customers. Also there is a refrigerated area with the salads I believe. The macaroni and potato salad. I don't remember what else is there. I experienced great customer service and felt like what I wanted was important. She went above and beyond and that's the kind of service we all deserve so I believe this place will succeed and be around for a very long time. read more

I LOVE this place. I have been here for their sandwiches. Now I tried their breakfast sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! The bagel was super soft life a king Hawaiian roll. Best sandwiches in town!! I've had 6-7 different sandwiches and they have all been great. My personal favorite is the CBR (Chicken Bacon Ranch). I was craving a deli sandwich and was recommended this place by my brother, and it did not disappoint. I got the chipotle chicken hot sandwich on ciabatta and it was amazing. You also get a bag of chips with each sandwich. The service was also really nice. The lady who cashed me and my friend out was really friendly and came to check on us while eating and also was making sure the other customers were enjoying their food as well. The whole place was just very welcoming and had a nice atmosphere to it, will some nice skateboard decor as well. Would definitely recommend this place. When we first arrived no one greeted us, The man with his headphones looked back at us about 4 to 5 times before saying hello welcome in. But when caucasians walk in he was quick to say hello. The lady was very rude who took our order, she seems stressed and angry. Continue telling me to speak louder but she could hear white people perfectly fine. I got up to take a phone call, as soon as I stepped out she moved my seat back under the table. Seeing that my food was still there and also my partner was still sitting there. Don't go here if you're Latino or Asian. The only chips they had were Doritos but they have many empty slots where chips should be. They have a Cheech and Chong right above their main entrance door which explains a lot, they act like stoners, they operate like stoners, and they seem like they're in desperate need for another hit of there vape. The salads are just plain boring, bland salads that you can honestly make better at home. Overall, nothing special about this place. You're better off saving your money going to Subway. read more

Where have I been for deli sandwiches in this town? How did I miss this place? Well, after hearing rave reviews about it, I decided to come check it out!! I decided to place my order by phone and then go pickup. The Godfather is their "talk of the town" sandwich so I ordered that. It did not disappoint and lived up to its name. Roast Beef, Bacon, Cheddar, Mayo, & Deli Mustard on a Sourdough Roll. Huge sandwich and plenty of meat inside. We split it. When I arrived my sandwich was ready as promised and the guy at the pickup counter was nice. When I told the gal working with him that it was my first time there, she threw in a free brownie which was delicious like fudge! I'll be back! This is truly one of the best sammys I've ever had and the service and experience was top tier. Walked in at noon to a packed establishment and was in and out within 10 min. Chris was the lovely sandwich expert that helped me order. She was so patient and sweet, giving me recommendations and even letting me sample some condiments. I ended up with the Sausalito turkey (amazing) and the pepper house sauce (incredible). The chipotle she suggested was also amazing, definitely would recommend. All the workers were busy but very friendly and professional. Place was very clean and well run. You get a bag of chips with every sandwhich and they also had coolers with local baked goods and various tidbits. Truly a wonderful experience. The food is incredible. Tasty food with tons of flavor options, reasonable prices, ample parking, and outdoor seating so I can enjoy an early lunch with my pup by my side....I'm not sure what more I could ask for in a sandwich shop! I am so psyched I found Big Belly Deli! We tried their Lockeford Dog and their Hot Pastrami for lunch the other day. You get really good portions for the price as well as a bag of chips as a plus. The flavors were really good and the staff was friendly and efficient. If you forced me to add something negative to seem objective, I did also want to try the Godfather but they were out of sourdough :( However, I saw a pile of sandwiches labeled "The Godfather" so I believe due to the time I arrived, they had just completed a large lunch order they were getting ready and ran out and not that they were just unprepared. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our food and they have a black privacy film on the window so we are not staring at the staff while we eat and they are not staring at us. Be advised it's kind of an industrial area, so it does get loud with all the trucks going by. I will probably take it home in the future but the option to sit outside is very nice. There are lots of sandwich places and this one has exceptional quality and value. We really enjoyed it here and we will be back to try their many other options! read more

Ordered online and picked up at their shop 25 minutes later yesterday. This place is amazing. I loved that they have a BYO option and plenty of fresh veggies to choose from. I ordered the chipotle chicken on marbled rye with cheddar. It was huge, filling, refreshing and tasty. The ratio of veggies and sandwich set up was prefect considering how many fixings I requested. (I.e., all wet & yellow on the inside) Other diners nowadays don't serve over-easy eggs this way, and the egg yolk is fried & dried when served. Then I waited and waited for my mini sandwich.. no one told me to wait in line the gal had just given me my tag and said you can go pay... i had to get up to ask and my sandwich had been sitting there unprepared and they said I never paid?!? My son and I didn't even feel comfortable eating there anymore so we packed up and left... very unfortunate to have a place that has bad service in the only nice area we have in town :(

Minimal street parking, but paid public parking garage across the street. Family run and operated restaurant, counter, tables and booth seating, ample room for groups Shawarma bowls, wraps, plates. Falafel, everything you would expect. But also fish and chips, burgers and sandwiches! I had the Shawarma chicken bowl, it had good flavor and lots of meat. Would of loved more rice, but it was a very solid portion, I was definitely full. We'll have to go back and try again some other things
