Blessed Bakery Gluten Free desserts
Del S.

So clean and spacious in here. Love all of the people working here! The owners and staff, everyone was so nice and accommodating when I was trying to figure out what to order. Originally I came because I needed a few items that they carry from Blessed Bakery. So glad I did! Sandwiches were delicious. I ordered the chipotle chicken, Belly Club and Pastrami. I had 1/2 of the Chipotle Chicken, and 1/2 of the Belly Club later. Hubby loved his pastrami. Sandwiched are generously packed with "stuff" all deliciously made to our specifications. Tried the two soup specials (Autumn Squash and a couple bits of the Chicken Pot Pie ) perfect combo with my sandwiches. Hubby loved the chili that we ordered with his meal. I often need catered lunches/ breakfasts, and have already talked to them about the options I'll need one couple of weeks. Looking forward to patronizing again soon

Pastrami on Rye. I forgot to take a pic before digging in.

We were first timers here and the staff was so nice. She gave us recommendations and then we each got a free gooy brownie! The bread is fresh, the sandwiches are thick and delicious. It is a must stop if in the area. They do get busy for a reason! They have tables or take to go. They have a typical sandwich shop vibe. Go to counter and order and they bring it out.

I decided to visit in person yesterday because the food was so good I just had to go meet these people that are behind these amazing sandwiches. The restaurant is clean, has a lot of space and seating. The drink station and chips are available to customers. Also there is a refrigerated area with the salads I believe. The macaroni and potato salad. I don't remember what else is there. I experienced great customer service and felt like what I wanted was important. She went above and beyond and that's the kind of service we all deserve so I believe this place will succeed and be around for a very long time.

Breakfast Sandwich. Yes the bacon is trying to escape.

I LOVE this place. I have been here for their sandwiches. Now I tried their breakfast sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! The bagel was super soft life a king Hawaiian roll. The bacon they used is perfectly cooked. Did I mention they serve Pepsi products? Yum. I definitely recommend this place. The food is legit and the staff here are super duper cool and down to earth.

Food was delicious, I had the spicy sensation sandwich which I enjoyed very much! The staff is very friendly and courteous, you can tell they take pride in their business and the food is very fresh! Don't live in Lodi but will come back for-sure!

BYO: sourdough roll, Sausalito turkey, pepper house sauces, lettuce, onion, extra pickle

This is truly one of the best sammys I've ever had and the service and experience was top tier. Walked in at noon to a packed establishment and was in and out within 10 min. Chris was the lovely sandwich expert that helped me order. She was so patient and sweet, giving me recommendations and even letting me sample some condiments. I ended up with the Sausalito turkey (amazing) and the pepper house sauce (incredible). The chipotle she suggested was also amazing, definitely would recommend. All the workers were busy but very friendly and professional. Place was very clean and well run. You get a bag of chips with every sandwhich and they also had coolers with local baked goods and various tidbits. Truly a wonderful experience. The food is incredible. I will absolutely be back and tell everyone i know about this gem.

BYO sandwich

Ordered online and picked up at their shop 25 minutes later yesterday. This place is amazing. I loved that they have a BYO option and plenty of fresh veggies to choose from. I ordered the chipotle chicken on marbled rye with cheddar. It was huge, filling, refreshing and tasty. The ratio of veggies and sandwich set up was prefect considering how many fixings I requested. I did not dine in, but the shop was clean and had plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I walked in. I will definitely be back and only wish they were closer to me.

Bad: Their "Kobe" burger was $29 or so and was a good portion size. The problem? Lacking any kind of flavor or seasoning. The beef was flavorless. The stroganoff was a good portion size but again it was severely lacking in the seasoning department. Good: Those who ordered the corn soup and the porcini mushroom ravioli enjoyed them. They especially enjoyed the sauce from the ravioli. The desserts overall were enjoyed by the table. The sticky toffee pudding, while not as rich as we are used to, was still relatively good; soft and moist enough. The dark chocolate oblong with mango passion fruit was enjoyed by everyone too. The interior remains unchanged; like a classy London gastropub. Service: communication is key. Where they dropped the ball was that we mentioned on the reservation that we were there for Father's Day and prime rib, which they do on Sundays. As you walk in you even see the sign for the prime rib special. We sat down and the server mentioned that there was no prime rib this weekend. I had even chatted with them on the reservation app and they made no mention of this. We could have gone somewhere else had we known in advanced. Our server was relatively nice too.

We got the foccicia bread basket as an appetizer and it was really good, herb, olive oil, soft bread like a sponge. The chicken pot pie was excellent, full of flavor, great crust and good filling. I got the French dip, it was probably one of the best I had in a while. The au jus was the best part, thick, flavorful along with a strong creamy horseradish. Service............. Not so much. For a big place that was maybe 40% occupied, it was soooooooooooooooooo slow. One server from what I see, 2 bussers, and 5 others standing around chatting. Took a good 30 mins to get seated (there was tables available), though we got to go to their tasting room, and got a bottle of wine; another 20 mins to get the server's attention after getting seated and probably another 40 for the food to come. That was probably the most irritating.

I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.

We made a brunch reservation for 11:30am, though we ended up ordering off the regular menu rather than brunch. That was the first odd note of the afternoon. Before the appetizers, they brought out focaccia with herbed butter, a nice alternative to the standard bread basket. The calamari appetizer with marinara and tartar sauce was fine, nothing memorable. My mom's eggplant parmesan arrived warm but not hot and cooled down quickly. The pizzas, a Funghi and a Margherita, were cooked well in the stone oven and were genuinely the best thing on the table, but they arrived warm and cooled down quickly, the same issue as my mom's eggplant parmesan. With the air conditioning blowing directly overhead, hot food didn't really stand a chance. The service is where things unraveled. When we were first seated, the manager came by and helped with my dad's walker, which was a nice touch. After that it went downhill. When my dad asked for something light, the waiter recommended the carbonara, a dish built on guanciale, grana, egg, and black pepper. That's not light by any definition. It's a basic gap in menu knowledge that does the guest a disservice. The menu also had salmon, ricotta toast, and eggs in purgatory. My dad also asked for red pepper flakes to go with his pizza and they took unusually long to arrive, so he had to flag down a different waiter to get them. The waiter noticed I was drinking my Bloody Mary slowly and offered a different version that actually tasted better. If there's a preferred version, lead with it. When I made eye contact to signal we were ready to pay, he acknowledged it but continued socializing with a coworker before finally coming over and taking my card, as if he was surprised we wanted to pay. When a customer is ready, they're ready. He took my card, asked if we wanted dessert, went to grab the dessert menu, then handed it back. Just hold onto the card. I'm paying with the same card regardless. Handing it back makes no sense. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, with a full bar, outdoor seating, a small store at the entrance, and a vegetable garden out front. It's a great setting. Dinner service might be a different experience, but on this visit the dining room wasn't particularly full, which made it more noticeable that the staff prioritized socializing over the guests in front of them. For the record, the suggested tip on the receipt started at 18%. On the way out, two hostesses stood by and did nothing while my parents, one of whom was on a walker, made their way to the door on their own. Getting the door is common courtesy for the elderly. Pietro's has the ingredients of a great restaurant. The space is beautiful, the stone oven pizza is genuinely good, and the brunch menu has real potential. But a restaurant is only as good as its execution, and right now the service and the food temperatures are letting the kitchen down. They just need to meet it.

I was literally looking for our waitress to complain as our food was coming out the door. As for the potatoes, my wife and I both thought they were average, and not worth the steep price...for fried potatoes. Now for the pizzas. Both my wife and I were happy with the pizzas. Both were tasty and cooked with the wood fired method I love. I was not the biggest fan of the crust, I'm a crust snob, and while the texture of this crust was great, the flavor was lacking. I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it.
