My husband and I ordered this place 3 times on door dash and each time it was fire! I get the turkey sandwich BYO and my husband gets the chicken chipotle sandwich and he raves about it every time. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and make every sandwich with love, those workers feel like working everyday! This is my go to sandwich place. I know it's probably more of a variety if I go to the shop so that's what I'm doing next. Come check it out read more

So clean and spacious in here. Love all of the people working here! The owners and staff, everyone was so nice and accommodating when I was trying to figure out what to order. Originally I came because I needed a few items that they carry from Blessed Bakery. So glad I did! Sandwiches were delicious. I ordered the chipotle chicken, Belly Club and Pastrami. I had 1/2 of the Chipotle Chicken, and 1/2 of the Belly Club later. Hubby loved his pastrami. Sandwiched are generously packed with "stuff" all deliciously made to our specifications. Tried the two soup specials (Autumn Squash and a couple bits of the Chicken Pot Pie ) perfect combo with my sandwiches. Hubby loved the chili that we ordered with his meal. I often need catered lunches/ breakfasts, and have already talked to them about the options I'll need one couple of weeks. Looking forward to patronizing again soon read more

Had a doctor's visit in Lodi and was feeling peckish. Looked for the nearest sandwich shop and up popped Big Belly Deli. Thank goodness we got there in time, they were closing soon. But Kiersten and her team never made us feel rushed. The tuna salad sandwich was delicious, the bread was so soft and tuna and veggies were fresh!!! You even get a pickle and chips with every sandwich! The presentation was perfect and the deli itself was warm and welcoming, good vibes!!! Next time, I'm going for their Meatball Sandwich! read more

Nice big area inside and out for parking and seating so that's nice and they have a nice menu for whatever sandwich you might want and the service is pretty fast also unless you go during lunch time rush than it's quite busy . It's a little on the expensive side you buy a sandwich for $15 or more then get a small bag of chips for free and then you have to buy a drink separately which is fine they pack the sandwich pretty good but it's def not the best sandwich and or spot I've ever been too like no wow factor but for local it's cool I just wish they stayed open longer . read more

The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. We ordered a BLT, TSA, BBQ chicken and a spicy sensation. All of them were delicious and well portioned. They have skateboards hanging on the wall for decor and it goes well. I particularly loved the Chun Li one. There was plenty of foot traffic so that tells all you really need to know about how good it is. The service was great, everyone was attentive to customers. read more

We were first timers here and the staff was so nice. She gave us recommendations and then we each got a free gooy brownie! The bread is fresh, the sandwiches are thick and delicious. It is a must stop if in the area. They do get busy for a reason! They have tables or take to go. They have a typical sandwich shop vibe. Go to counter and order and they bring it out. read more

Cris catered a reception following a funeral mass for my husband. I simply can't say enough nice things about her, her service, her food, her thoughtfulness. Sandwiches were delicious, wonderful variety, really good bread. Salads were fresh and so tasty. Brownies were scrumptious. Everything was served so beautifully, and she provided high quality plates and utensils. She was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm so glad she did! Everything was made with the freshest ingredients and filled with love! I can't recommend her and the deli more highly! Thank you, Cris, for your help on such a difficult day. read more

I decided to visit in person yesterday because the food was so good I just had to go meet these people that are behind these amazing sandwiches. The restaurant is clean, has a lot of space and seating. The drink station and chips are available to customers. Also there is a refrigerated area with the salads I believe. The macaroni and potato salad. I don't remember what else is there. I experienced great customer service and felt like what I wanted was important. She went above and beyond and that's the kind of service we all deserve so I believe this place will succeed and be around for a very long time. read more

Where have I been for deli sandwiches in this town? How did I miss this place? Well, after hearing rave reviews about it, I decided to come check it out!! I decided to place my order by phone and then go pickup. The Godfather is their "talk of the town" sandwich so I ordered that. It did not disappoint and lived up to its name. Roast Beef, Bacon, Cheddar, Mayo, & Deli Mustard on a Sourdough Roll. Huge sandwich and plenty of meat inside. We split it. When I arrived my sandwich was ready as promised and the guy at the pickup counter was nice. When I told the gal working with him that it was my first time there, she threw in a free brownie which was delicious like fudge! I'll be back! Plenty of tables inside to dine in and some outside too. read more

Tasty food with tons of flavor options, reasonable prices, ample parking, and outdoor seating so I can enjoy an early lunch with my pup by my side....I'm not sure what more I could ask for in a sandwich shop! I am so psyched I found Big Belly Deli! We tried their Lockeford Dog and their Hot Pastrami for lunch the other day. You get really good portions for the price as well as a bag of chips as a plus. The flavors were really good and the staff was friendly and efficient. If you forced me to add something negative to seem objective, I did also want to try the Godfather but they were out of sourdough :( However, I saw a pile of sandwiches labeled "The Godfather" so I believe due to the time I arrived, they had just completed a large lunch order they were getting ready and ran out and not that they were just unprepared. We were able to sit outside and enjoy our food and they have a black privacy film on the window so we are not staring at the staff while we eat and they are not staring at us. Be advised it's kind of an industrial area, so it does get loud with all the trucks going by. I will probably take it home in the future but the option to sit outside is very nice. There are lots of sandwich places and this one has exceptional quality and value. We really enjoyed it here and we will be back to try their many other options! read more

This is truly one of the best sammys I've ever had and the service and experience was top tier. Walked in at noon to a packed establishment and was in and out within 10 min. Chris was the lovely sandwich expert that helped me order. She was so patient and sweet, giving me recommendations and even letting me sample some condiments. I ended up with the Sausalito turkey (amazing) and the pepper house sauce (incredible). The chipotle she suggested was also amazing, definitely would recommend. All the workers were busy but very friendly and professional. Place was very clean and well run. You get a bag of chips with every sandwhich and they also had coolers with local baked goods and various tidbits. Truly a wonderful experience. The food is incredible. When we first arrived no one greeted us, The man with his headphones looked back at us about 4 to 5 times before saying hello welcome in. But when caucasians walk in he was quick to say hello. The lady was very rude who took our order, she seems stressed and angry. Continue telling me to speak louder but she could hear white people perfectly fine. I got up to take a phone call, as soon as I stepped out she moved my seat back under the table. Seeing that my food was still there and also my partner was still sitting there. Don't go here if you're Latino or Asian. The only chips they had were Doritos but they have many empty slots where chips should be. They have a Cheech and Chong right above their main entrance door which explains a lot, they act like stoners, they operate like stoners, and they seem like they're in desperate need for another hit of there vape. The salads are just plain boring, bland salads that you can honestly make better at home. Overall, nothing special about this place. You're better off saving your money going to Subway. read more

Ordered online and picked up at their shop 25 minutes later yesterday. This place is amazing. I loved that they have a BYO option and plenty of fresh veggies to choose from. I ordered the chipotle chicken on marbled rye with cheddar. It was huge, filling, refreshing and tasty. The ratio of veggies and sandwich set up was prefect considering how many fixings I requested. I did not dine in, but the shop was clean and had plenty of seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I walked in. Watching her run this fine establishment was a joy to see, her attention to every detail was apparent and comes from decades of running such a fine restaurant. We had a second occasion to go out to dinner, and all agreed we wanted to return to Thai. This time we asked Bunhom to surprise us. This was the right decision. The food she had the kitchen staff prepare was amazing. I can't say what we enjoyed more, every dish checked all the boxes when it came to satisfying our taste buds. The Thai tea was an added surprise; the taste was not only delicious but exotic to boot. The dish was savory and we even used a bit of white rice to soak the rest of the sauce up! We also got an order of the Red Curry Duck, again the meat is sliced thin and is super tender. Cooked in the red curry with bell pepper and bamboo shoot. Then an order of large white rice. The spices on the side are so tasty too and so fun to experiment! I was not used to enjoying a salad with beets + watermelon, so now, I am a fan. The crab cakes were flavorful, especially paired with the house-made lemon aioli sauce. The Beef Wellington dish was divine. The meat was super tender, the brown sauce was dynamite and the vegetables + mashed potatoes were the perfect complements. Lastly, the sticky toffee pudding was great, as the dessert was not overly sweet. The green apples added on top provided a nice balance of tartness against the richness. Junior was my server. I actually drove from Roseville to try this place out b/c I LOVE Italian & this place had such glowing reviews (the made-from-scratch pasta being a big draw also). Arrived on a Wednesday evening at just before 6pm & only waited about 10 mins for a spot to open up inside (they do have outdoor seating as well). Waitress quickly stopped by, dropped off some focaccia bread & asked what I'd like to drink. After that...I waited. Make sure you have plenty of time to kill by the way, b/c the service here is on the slower side. My wine finally arrived about 15 mins later & I was asked what I'd like to eat. Inquired about the pear + cheese ravioli & was told that it was on the "sweeter" side, but also that it was popular & I would actually be getting the last order of it for the night. Decided to go for it. Funny enough, the food came out way faster than my glass of wine did. Here is where the real problem began though. The ravioli was undercooked & difficult to chew. Not al dente. The filling itself was definitely on the sweeter side, but outside of that, it was bland. The brown butter sage sauce didn't add much to it at all & I ended up having to rely heavily on the salt/pepper that were already placed on the table. Overall, this wasn't something worth driving 45 mins for, but now I know for sure. At least the bread was good...lol.

We can usually depend on it being busy as they offer a small dining area with limited tables outside, so when we do walk in we do so prepared. They do have a reservation system but to my knowledge we have not used it. We just walk up and greet the staff person at the door to check in, and they tell us what the wait is like. If it's over a half hour we usually kill time in Raley's. It's usually not longer than a 20 minute wait. If you are a large party, things might get cramped, but I've seen them pull it off with gusto. We've never had a party larger than four and it's been great. I really like the folks who work here. And the food is great too. They have a few tvs and a little sushi bar at the back, and the noise level is about average depending on how many children are dining with their families. Komachi has a dedicated vegetarian menu and I've tried most of the things on it. I love that they have marinated shiitake rolls, my fave of the standard veggie sushi innards. Yummy! My favorite rolls on the menu are the Garden Roll (steamed asparagus, avocado, cucumber, kanpyo, and shiitake), Shittake Maki, and the Rich Jumbo Roll (fried asparagus, fried onion, avocado, cream cheese, and cucumber). Appetizers I have tried and enjoyed very much include the Agedashi tofu, fried brussels sprouts (I have to remember to have the fish flake removed from this dish though), and of course, wakame (seaweed salad). They do have ramen, donburi, bento boxes, teppanyaki (the tofu one I look forward to trying soon!) and salads as well if you're not in the sushi mood. I like their seasonal drink menu, featuring wine, soju, and beer. Komachi is also reasonably priced. Yeah, pretty much everything I'm looking for when me and my boo are craving sushi. Vegan Corner: several items can be made vegan upon request, but there is not a dedicated menu. Bathroom Report: noisy pipes will not hurt you, at least it's smelling fresh right?

From the moment I walked into Big Belly Deli, I was greeted with warm smiles and the inviting aroma of freshly made sandwiches. This family-owned spot has quickly become my go-to for hearty, delicious meals in Lodi. The menu is both extensive and customizable. I opted for the "Brooklyn Bomber," and it exceeded all expectations--packed with flavor and generous portions . Each sandwich comes with a bag of chips and a pickle, adding that classic deli touch. What truly sets Big Belly Deli apart is their commitment to quality and customer service. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making each visit a pleasant experience . The owner often goes above and beyond to ensure customers are satisfied, even adding surprise treats to orders . The deli is clean, spacious, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or catering for an event, Big Belly Deli is a top-notch choice. Some locations have vegan mayo and cheese upon request, but I have not confirmed if this one does. Meh Vegan Corner today, sorry. Without me, even asking, he put together a bag of ice for me to sit on top of the bag of ravioli,, so I could get them home. That was very nice of him.
