Was craving Thai Food and decided to try a place from Yelp that was not the "norm" experience. Bad idea. The Thai Delight place looked quaint and the menu prices seemed decent. From the time we sat down, ordered and waited for our food, we waited AN HOUR for our food when they initially told us there was a kitchen wait of 25 minutes. Currently, still waiting on food... based on this alone, WILL NOT be returning!!! I put in an order for a shrimp spring roll thinking it'd hold me over till food got to us, but I guess not. I wanted to leave early but my dinner guest wanted to wait. Sucks going somewhere with expectations and then NOT being met. Two thumbs down to this place. read more

This was my first meal from Thai Delight. I ordered takeout Pad Thai (boring but I love it) to pick up on the way home and I'll definitely be ordering from here again. While I waited (not too long), restaurant was clean and bright and they offered me a bottle of water, which was a very nice touch. The food was great. The "medium" spicy was relatively mild, so I'll go up a notch next time, but the level of spice is always subjective, especially with Thai food. I'd rather get something too mild and spice it up myself than not be able to finish it. Glad Thai Delight is one of my local options! read more

Terrible experience! We read the reviews and decided to come in and give them a try. We arrived around 630 to notice there were only a few people so you can imagine how happy we were to try this new place. Waited to be seated for about 15 min then finally the waiter looked at us and pointed to the corner and said "you can go sit over there" after sitting and sitting watching people come and go also watched people get their food before us an hour and a half passed with dirty appetizer plates no drinks. We finally decided to go check on our food our Son needed to head back to Flagstaff so our time with him was very limited. The waiter said it would be another 15 min. I told him we could not stay. Rethink before going to this place. Staff are so rude. I called them for lunch take out. And I have asked for drunken noodles with tofu and vegetables. So the staff person over the phone asked me noodles come with veggies why are you mentioning in particular. I said it happened in the past that I got only noodles with tofu but no the veggies init so I was just casually mentioning. She shouted to another person that you dint give her veggies in the past . And the other staff person may be the chef shouted back saying ask her not order food or don't come to the restaurant. Then they started talking in their language keeping me online. Had great meal but in the process of eating, one of the workers there, not sure what his role is, walked to our table and asked us to leave because there were people waiting for open tables yet we were still not done. That made me question whether he really needed a table or just out of there. There were few open tables. My friend asked why he was doing it, and that it was wrong but he just said that it's OK. While leaving there was only one person waiting. I have no idea why he did that but I assume it's because we were the only black people in the restaurant. Rude! Terrible customer service. Terrible Thai tea-old. It's in the neighborhood and a cute little place and we thought we would try it. It was empty and quiet. No business at dinner time did a lot of phone pick ups while we were there, so maybe that's where all their business is. They had no customer service skills at all. Decided to order take out tonight and was not happy with the pick up. I ordered through postmates online and was told my order would be ready within 15 minutes. My husband then went to pick up our food which was only a order of Thai fried rice and pad See ew and he ended up waiting at the restaurant for OVER AN HOUR. Ordering off the lunch menu until 3pm is probably the best deal in Phoenix. For the price of a Big Mac and fries, you can sit down to the best Thai in Ahwatukee, if not all of Phoenix. Kim and I have been getting lunch there for over a year, and have never been disappointed. The bbq pork is not a little pork roll but two large pork steaks with tons of rice on a bed of crisp vegetables!(Plenty for take home dinner!) Kims Pad se ewe, was a huge plate of delicious wide noodles with marinated chicken and veggies (again, plenty for take home dinner.) Service is friendly and efficient with several visits from our server to make sure everything was ok. The second best part of our visits is the price. $9.95 per lunch which INCLUDES salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, grapes and watermelon with an excellent Thai dressing. The food was pretty good. I really loved the flavor the green curry sauce had and the stir fry noodle dish. I wasn't thrilled with the steamed rice the actual consistency of the stir fry noodles. It seemed alittle undercooked. And the Thai Tea was a little too watery. But the service was great, the actual flavor of the food was bold, and the place was incredibly clean and well organized. We tried Thai Delight for the first time and it was great! Had the green curry -hot, tom yum- hot, spicy noodle w/ basil - Thai hot, and the crispy egg rolls. Everything was amazing! Now, I LOVE spicy food and tend to drench my food in hot sauce. The Thai hot is a little hotter than I thought it'd be and I will probably stick with just hot for my spice level next order. Ohhhhhh YES!!!! I love me some good Thai food and Thai delight was just freakin perfect. I was in the area and ordered take out. I thought I'd been here before but when I arrived to pick up my food I realized I'd ordered from the wrong restaurant thinking it was another I'd been to before. Well, happily this one had been on my list to try anyways so I was not at all disappointed. The service was very attentive, as soon as I walked in, they greeted me and went to check on my order. I love a friendly welcome from a place, and even though the girls were busy they were still aware of everything. It seems they do a lot of take out orders, I am not surprised. Couldn't wait to get home and try my food. I do have a suggestion, if you are bringing home 1 dish to share with your significant other, don't bother because you're going to want more again and again. I should've ordered 2 different things.
