They were tasty. We also ordered the steak tip salad and went old school with the chopped steak. All were delicious. I even enjoyed one of their home brews - Windmill Wheat. We were too stuffed for dessert, so we ordered a bread pudding to go... Oh, my deliciousness - I had the bread pudding later that night, I wish we had ordered two. Highly recommend it!!! My wife got pissed and went to go get ketchup herself. A different server brought us the ketchup a few minutes later. Our server was no where to be found. The burgers were gross. Tasted like dry ground styrofoam sirloin with WAY too much salt. The fries were under cooked and overly greasy. The place is overrated and staff is terrible. I wanted to like this place but we will never be back. I can't help but get the vibe that Triple J is not that welcoming to Hispanics.

The fusion salmon was probably the highlight here. The cocktails were acceptable, except for their signature Manhattan which was bitter, like a chewed-up aspirin had been shaken into the drink. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Texas Roadhouse in Lubbock, Texas, for the first time since they moved to their new location. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The new building is not just large; it's impressively spacious and well-designed. However, I'd be remiss not to mention that parking was a bit of a challenge. The restaurant's popularity may have contributed to the somewhat crowded parking area, but the overall experience made it worthwhile. Our meal consisted of an 8oz sirloin cooked to a perfect medium-rare, accompanied by flavorful shrimp. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, and the baked loaded sweet potato was a hearty and delicious side. The shrimp was particularly impressive with its well-seasoned, mouthwatering flavor. The sirloin, juicy and cooked to perfection, was the star of the show. My 3-year-old had the kids' chicken strips with BBQ sauce and fries. It was pleasantly a large portion to be a kids meal. The kid-friendly menu, along with the quality and taste of the food, is truly commendable. We visited on a busy Thursday night, but our experience was elevated by our attentive and accommodating waitress, Morgan. Her friendly and attentive service ensured that we felt right at home and satisfied throughout our dining experience. Overall, our visit to the new Texas Roadhouse location was a good one. We were really looking forward to dining in this institution. We know that for many years it has been a mainstay of the Lubbock, restaurant scene and the owner is world renowned for his professionalism and attention to detail. We left the experience having enjoyed it but could not, 3 days later, detail one single aspect of it in any detail. I know the room was nice, I know that we got on with the server and that the beer and wine were good. We certainly didn't grouse about the prices or the decor. read more

I told him he would not like it and I also saw it was a $2.50 upsale. I did tell him to add the sautéed mushrooms for the same price (upsale) but when they brought the food they forgot them anyways and I had them remove them from the ticket. He also ordered a Diet Coke which was $3.59 and he was only able to get one refill on it. That is the cost of 6 pack! I ordered a margarita with a $1 upsale for a kicker. My wife had a margarita with the mango flavor upsale. The manager came over to welcome our first time visit and offered to buy us dessert which we said great to as we just ordered a dessert. The bill came and I questioned why we were being charged for the dessert. She indicated the one we ordered was not one we offered for free. If we had been advised it only applied to certain desserts we would have ordered one on that list. We won't be back, it is similar to a Texas Roadhouse but with lower quality of meats.
