Prime rib, steamed vegetables, au jus, horseradish sauce - all great!!!
Dana J.

Stopped in on a Friday evening around 6 p.m. We didn't have reservations and the place was hopping, but they got us seated pretty quickly. Neat place with lots of nostalgia in their decor, we immediately felt at home. Our lovely server Brie (who can write her name upside down and left handed!) got our drink orders and water pretty quickly! The cocktails were good, Old Fashioneds for the guys, Rum and Diet Coke for one gal and Frozen Margarita for me. One friend ordered the prime rib, which he deemed fantastic and cooked to perfection. Our other friend ordered the chicken fried steak and really enjoyed it as well. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin, loaded baked potato, and steamed vegetables. Steak was exactly medium as ordered, potato was fluffy and delicious, steamed veggies were perfect texture, I seasoned with my own salt and pepper - much preferred to some places who over season. Husband chose to get his ribeye custom cut. They brought the ribeye roast out, let him look at both sides and choose which end. Then they handed him the knife to make a cut where he wanted his steak cut. It went back to the kitchen, and soon came back out weighing in at 22 oz for final approval. His steak came out perfect medium rare, tender, juicy and he loved it. His potato was delicious as well. The rolls were great too, I could have eaten those for a meal. Brie took excellent care of us throughout the meal from start to finish, really making this a wonderful evening for the four of us. This WILL be a stop each time we visit Lubbock in the future!!!

Visited here on a busy Saturday night. We had a reservation (thankfully!) and were seated within 6 mins of check-in. Our server Bristol was friendly and attentive. Food was tasty and left the whole gang full :) Live music was a plus, as many in our party didn't expect this from the steakhouse! Overall a great place to dine in Lubbock !

Another visit here did not disappoint! We made a reservation for a Friday night. Good thing we did, it was packed, but we were seated promptly and our servers were there right away, which was great bc we had a 4 year old with us. We quickly ordered a kids pizza and lemonade for her and then the adults began to peruse the extensive menu. So many delicious things to choose from. We opted for a wedge salad (so good), a filet (so reasonably priced), tilapia and a cobb salad with steak on it, meat was tender and well seasoned. This may become our favorite place to dine in Lubbock.

Triple J is awesome. A young, energetic server crew and excellent bartenders mixed with live music is a huge plus. A couple of TVs and comfortable bar chairs make the bar area a great hangout spot. We especially loved the salmon salad, burgers and sweet-potato side dish - great visit!

Fun establishment. Live music on a Tuesday. It was packed. Make a reservation. Luckily we did. Great service. Waitress waited to see if the temp on the steaks we ordered were correct before taking off to another customer. It was. Great sides. Good banana bread pudding. Friends had the filet. They loved it. I had the rib eye. A bit tough for this cut. It was probably not prime. Still ok. Next time I'll order a filet.

Stopped in for dinner and the place was a packed house. Sat at the bar and had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and spinach. If you're a fan of spinach, then you need to order it. It is so creamy and I am not sure what they do to it but it was amazing. This place has a very loud explosive, energetic vibe that will keep you on your toes during your entire meal.

We had dinner last night at The West Table, and it was truly a 10 out of 10 experience…read more We started with a couple of cocktails and the goat cheese croquettes. The croquettes were excellent, and the berry sauce added a bright, tangy complement that really elevated the dish. For our entrees, we had the teriyaki ribeye with flavorful mushroom fried rice, as well as the swordfish, served with perfectly executed risotto and roasted vegetables. I like my ribeye cooked rare, but with the fat properly rendered, so I ordered it rare+, and it was executed perfectly. The swordfish was equally impressive, beautifully cooked and paired wonderfully with the risotto and vegetables. Our server, Saidie, was outstanding and made an already great meal even more enjoyable. The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. We highly recommend The West Table and will definitely be back.

We ordered three appetizers and were not wowed by any of them! Most dishes completely lacked any seasoning! I rarely add last to my food but the fried green tomatoes badly need them as they lacked flavor and the tomato was very hard to eat! The goat cheese croquettes were fine but the shishito peppers could have also done with some salt. We also ordered salads and waited a very long time for them - to be fair I think the server was waiting for us to finish our apps which we did not do so we stacked the plates at the end of the table which worked! Bizarrely the salads had no dressing!! Mine was a beet salad which was great and did not need any but my friend had a house salad which absolutely needed dressing which they kindly bought when requested! It's cool looking place and our server was lovely but the food needed a little work!

First time to any Longhorn Steakhouse. First impression in a word.. dated. Time to leave that…read more'Steak and Ale' era. The food was ok. Order a ribeye medium. Came out a little over and a tad dry. Still for the price a good value. The other order was a Chopped steak, actually, it was better than the ribeye. Our server was very understanding giving us time to look over the menu and make a selection. She did buzz by for a How did everything come out? It was have been nice if she had offered more bread. Doubt we would have requested it. The manager came by and she told him it was our first visit. He politely thanked us for stopping in and quickly went to instruct another server on how to set the blinds for the sitting sun. It would have been nice if he had introduced himself, asked us if we were new to the area, told us about any specials or what made Longhorn special... or just invited us back. Hey, comp a spinach dip or something. But I realize setting those blinds to the correct angle is very important. The whole place was a little loud. And it seems to be a 'hot' spot for Wednesday night family 'dinner night'. Lots of kids. So.. maybe there is a kid meal special on on hump day?
