Still the best Hawaiian food out there. My favorite would be the mix bbq plate and love their siopao or steamed bbq pork bun. But really, I'd eat anything in their menu. The food portion is insane! I don't know how they make a profit still. But just for $17.99 you'll have food for days or you can share it with the whole family. It's one of those mom and pop's restaurants that you would hate to see go because there's no comparing it to other restaurants. I had my mom pick me up the BBQ Chicken and Fried Rice meal since she was out that way. When I had it once before it was delicious, thus the reason I ordered it again. This time the chicken was dry(like it had sat out for a very long time) and the rice was hard and dry too. It was edible but not good. Since this is a 50/50 situation I will have to try this another time to decide if it's a lost cause or not. Both the platter and drink was enough for two people to eat and drink with. The flavors of the meat were on point. The macaroni salad I thought was a little creamy but it still tasted pretty darn good. And the rice is cook sticky but if you add a little soy sauce it loosens up. You have to order a whole entree of noodles which is bullshit in my book. Food equals three stars, they lost two for poor service. I recommend calling ahead in less you like waiting for almost an hour. I got the BBQ mix platter which comes with beef short rib, beef, and chicken. The flavors are on point and the marinade they use really compliment the meat. The quality of meat they use is low, but it's what you would expect at an Asian fast-serve restaurant.
