Great Donut shop is a place you want to visit. There is your regular donuts there is also special donuts they are both great.

Texas rocks donuts. Small local chain that bakes some insane crullers, 'cronuts' (the size of a tire), eclairs and Texas-size and regular glazed. Taisha at the counter was sweet, she totally made my day! Very helpful and polite. These donuts are tasty; worthy of a second Civil War: they do not have that metallic, machine-like after taste that some Krispy Kremes have. All in all a wide open - cool - breakfast joint. I was pretty saddened to hear that Donut Island closed within a year or two of opening after I officially moved back to Manassas post college graduation. I loved that Donut Island had donuts like the ones Shopper's sold except smaller (keeps the beetus away). But thank goodness Texas Donuts opened the same year Donut Island closed (from what I recall). I wasn't sure what to expect from Texas Donuts but I was happy to see they sold the same donuts that Donut Island had sold, and they also have boba tea! Texas Donuts is a winner when it comes to variety. Texas also is more creative with their donuts; I love the festivity in the donut selection. One thing that can improve is their boba tea. I've only tried it once and I was disappointed. I'm sure it is the boba powder, it came out pretty flavorless. Next time I'll probably stop by for donuts only and head to Kung Fu Tea for the boba. read more

OMG! I'm sooooooooo glad I don't live anywhere near this place because I would easily pack on 20 ibs in 7 visits!! But, I don't so I'm good. They have two locations one in Centerville and another in Manassas. The location is Manassas is the one I stumbled upon after a lunch with some great people at the Logan's in Manassas. When I saw Texas donuts the only thing I could think of was my favorite donut shop in Houston, Shipley's! They have the best apple fritter. The bags in this place seriously look like the Shipley's bags and the donuts were Texas size. I saw at least a 20 inch donut. I went with the donuts holes. They had a deal that day that I saw from the street that said .99 cent for minis or whatever they call them. I also go the apple fritter. The donuts were amazing! The donut holes literally melted in my mouth and the apple fritter was every better . I loved this place and I plan on going back whenever I'm in the area. The staff was awesome and I saw them filling donuts on site. They were literally three machines in the back wall you could choose any filling. It was pretty cool. read more

They have Kolache! The lady behind the counter was genuinely surprised that I had any idea what a kolache was. Apparently people in VA aren't familiar with them. Hopefully Texas Donuts can change that. The cronuts are colossal. The fritters are the best you'll find anywhere. The establishment is very clean and fresh. It's brand new and looks like it. I have been looking forward to eating donuts from Texas Donuts for a long time. I have been lurking on Yelp and the pictures on Texas Donuts' page for a while. I finally made it and bought a dozen donuts for the family. We loved it. The donuts are yeasty donuts, which I love. They melt in my mouth! I bought a specialty dozen. They did not disappoint. My wife and kids raved about them. My wife loves the apple fritter. I really enjoyed the lemon filled donut. My kids loved the cookie monster character donut. I can't wait to come back. Every time I come here I'm always greeted by a friendly face and a hello and that just shows how impressive their customer service is. The interior is bright and colorful while also being clean and sanitary. They have quite a selection of various donuts and when I asked they make all of their donuts that same morning! It tastes fresh and not as floury as Dunkin Donuts. When I'm short on time I'll take a dozen and heat it up at home on the microwave for 10-15 seconds and it's literally to die for!!! I know the owners have other locations and I've been to most of them and it's pretty much the same great customer service with amazing donuts! My personal favorite is the maple one! Since I've had these donuts, I'm unable to go back to the standard grocery store's or Dunkin's donuts. The donuts are light which I love because I don't like dense donuts. They have many flavors including the classics and even offer a giant donut (their Texas donut)! One of my favorites are their donut holes because they're almost as light as a puff pastry. I got the breakfast special which includes choice of sandwich, regular donut, and coffee/soda. I was hoping to pay a little more to upgrade to a maple bacon donut, but ended up getting blueberry cake which was good. The bacon, egg, cheese croissant was really good and pretty good size. Cronuts are bangin. Husband loved the Kolache , cheddar jalapeno and fritter best. Staff was great, light hearted and quick to help. It's cool to see them freshly full cream donuts. So tempted to get the texas size! But I needed the cronuts. Maybe next time. No regrets there. It reminded me of nyc bc we people watched people come in and out. Much busier than I expected. This iced coffee is quite tasty! The shop has covid measures in place. They make their donuts daily though today I only had a coffee. Their donuts look delicious though. Very friendly service and great selection. When I walked in, I was greeted warmly and offered a sample of their plain donut so I could taste their dough. It was soft, had the right level of sweetness and was moist. They also offer cronuts and old fashioned donuts. I was tempted to try their custard cream filled selection but held back because I had a bit of a drive that day and didn't want to make a mess in my car. Needed to get a quick bite for breakfast so I decided to check this place out. I've always passed by it but since there's a krispy kreme on the other side of town I usually just go there. I'm really happy I decided to give this place a try because everything I tasted today was so delicious! I was immediately greeted by the employees when I walked in. I felt welcomed instantly and that's one of the reasons they're getting 5 stars. Customer service is super important for any establishment. So when I see exceptional service I definitely want to give them their kiddos. The other reason they're getting 5 stars is because these people know donuts. I got a chocolate Texas donut (huge size) and chocolate regular sized donut. So so so delicious! The donut just tasted so fresh and airy. This place is definitely my go-to donut shop now. I happened to be visiting family in the area and was super hyped to find out this place has Texas Kolaches! We were looking for a quick breakfast spot nearby and decided to stop in since we love doughnuts. I was a tiny bit hopeful that they would also have kolaches since they have Texas in their name, but I did not want to be too hopeful to have my dreams dashed. I rushed in eyeballing all the doughnuts. Then I looked at the menu and uttered a cry of joy to see kolaches on the menu. Sadly they only have two types - cheddar or cheddar and jalapeno - but that was enough to satisfy my cravings. I got the cheddar and jalapeno kolache as well as a chocolate sprinkle doughnut. The cheddar and jalapeno kolache was perfect - making my lips tingle. The chocolate sprinkle doughnut was a little dry so I have to take a star off. I am super happy to have found this place so I can frequent it whenever I am in the area. Fortunately there are also a few OrangeTheory Fitness locations nearby so I can work off the extra calories from the kolaches. read more

Great selection of donuts. Everything from your basic favorites to some crazy concoctions and GIANT donuts. I ordered 4 different donuts (chocolate glaze with sprinkles, oreo, cronuts, maple bacon) and they were all fresh and tasty. The price was a little high for the specialty donuts, but those are a once in a great while treat so it's not a dealbreaker. Overall recommend over other nearby donut shops. read more

The staff is SO nice! I came in with my baby and and the woman who made my bubble tea actually helped me carry the bubble tea and donuts to my car. I was honestly shocked by the kindness. Texas Donut - Manassas Va - Went for zero dark hundred breakfast 09 Jan 2021 - social distancing and masks were required. My GF said this was the best donut shop ever, so I hauled myself out of bed and headed there to pickup breakfast for everyone. I pulled up, parking lot very well lit and the restaurant was clean and inviting. As my first time there, they have a wide variety of donuts so two VERY sweet nice ladies took the time to help me with my order. They even had Texas sized - one donut was at least 20 inches (no I did not get that one). I went with dozen and half mixed to try a few different kinds. I was surprised they even inject the filling in fresh to order right in front of me while I waited. Got back to the house, donuts were very fresh, airy and tasty. Texas donuts, what are you doing to me?! Finally this place is open and I wasted no time grabbing a half dozen donuts. I love that you can pick your own fillings, and although it's small there was a decent variety. So I went with some red velvet and some filled donuts. I bit into a Bavarian filled donut and it was like eating a cloud. The consistency is so fluffy and fresh, not like the semi-firm texture of one sitting in a grocery store or at other stores like Dunkin no-longer Donuts. If the rest of my half dozen are anywhere close to this good, I think I need to start exercising more because I'm going to be feeding my face a lot of delicious, sugar loaded, fluffy clouds and I'm very excited about that. read more

Finally tried Texas Donuts after about two years of keeping an eye on them through Yelp and seeing all the amazing pics. Went on a Friday, mid morning. Two friendly ladies helped me out as I compiled a dozen. Cronuts are insanely perfect and everything was so fresh. Got a couple filled right in front of me and this alone is what separates Texas Donuts from any other shop. The thing swells with filling, I recommend the raspberry. The maple bacon is like eating pancakes with bacon on the side. Support this place! They're well prepared with all the Covid regulations. I'll definitely be back to try a kolache. read more

The size of the donuts are small, the price is expensive, the flavor of the donuts are excellent. I miss the days of shoppers food warehouse colossal donuts .
