I recently stumbled across the existence of Texas Donuts - so I wanted to check them out... I stopped in for breakfast: I ordered a Ham, Egg, and Cheese Croissant, a jalapeño-Cheddar Kolache, and a Maple-Bacon donut - to go. Paid with Apple Pay. Everything was tasty. I've never had a Kolache before - it reminds me of an oversized "Pig in a Blanket." Very good. The Maple-Bacon donut was rich and savory. Delicious! Service was very good. #TexasDonuts

First time here Pretty taste Came to try the boba but they didn't have anymore sadly The Coffee was nice and strong Love it

Donuts were awesome. They sell huge ones that are about the size of a styrofoam take out container. It was awesome. Not the biggest donut I've ever eaten but definitely the biggest one I've seen in northern VA. The staff was nice. The owner was nice and talking to a customer. Only two people working there but they were cranking out the orders. Place was very clean and quiet.

Not really a donut person, but I saw this place near the nail salon in the same area, and I couldn't resist I they have a great selection of the classic flavors of donuts, as well as specialty donuts which cost a bit more. I got a half dozen: 3 glazed donuts, 2 chocolate sprinkles, and 1 double chocolate donut. I ate a glazed donut before I took the photo because they looked soooo good! The donuts were so soft and perfect amount of sweetness to relieve my sweet tooth. I'm not in the area much but I think there's a Texas donuts near my house!!! It's a pretty good location with ample parking as well.

This was my 2nd time visiting a Texas Donuts location; my first visit was to the one in Loudoun; I enjoyed that 1st visit so much I made a point of coming here sooner, rather than later :-) Tip: There's a great selection available here of all the "classic" donut flavors; specialty donuts are available too but they usually cost a bit more The donuts here are airy, light, and completely delicious!  They're just right - not too sweet and not too heavy.  I'm totally glad I made a point of coming here, and will return the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Delicious! These were so good ! They had lots of options and variances, and even a croissant/donut hybrid, all so good. Highly reccomend the bacon maple!

First of all, we were greeted with the most friendly staff! She gave us a sample to try and was immediately sold. I got a cinnamon swirl bread twist and a chocolate doughnut. And milk, of course. My husband got a stuffed doughnut and a pastry of some kind. Everything tasted great! Someone entered around the same time as us, and it was obvious he was a regular. That's always a good sign in my mind! There are lots of items in the display case and plenty on the board. There was no seating inside that I could see, so it was definitely a grab and go situation! However the place was clean, smelled good and definitely makes you want to come back for more!

Same reused glove just sitting on top of fresh donuts waiting to get used....again.

This place is hot or miss on the customer service. Sometimes they greet you, sometimes they don't. I was here yesterday and the Asian lady didn't even acknowledge me as I was the only one in line and she was making a coffee for a waiting customer. She just shuffled back and forth, looked at me, and kept shuffling and making the coffee. I ordered two dozen donuts online and when I get here I was 20 minutes last my pick up time and they didn't have my order ready. So if I came here on time to pick up, then I'd be waiting at least 30 minutes more past pick up time. I also noticed they reuse the same plastic glove. Yikes.

Great shop with friendly faces. We came early this morning with our small daughter. The donuts were delicious and fresh and they had a great selection of drinks from Starbucks to juice and boba tea. One of the ladies was kind enough to give our daughter some donut holes for free which I thought was very nice. You can't eat inside and everything was very clean! For half dozen and our drinks we paid less than $15 which I thought was fair. The cronut was def my fav!

Incredibly, all 3 of the 2022 runner-up were in Virginia as I live in Anne Arundel County, MD, but that's just how it worked out with Jirani Coffee House being the furthest from my home at a staggering 53 miles away. It was one of those strange Saturdays where I ended up further and further from my home throughout the day. There was something expensive I was shopping for (bed) where I wanted to test in person as opposed to buying online without knowing. It was in a bedding store in the Tysons area, which I ended up buying from them in the end. Then, there was an astronomy Meetup out at the Air & Space Museum out in Chantilly, so I was like I'm already out in Tysons, and in the 11 years living in the DMV, I need to visit this location of Air & Space. The astronomy Meetup was canceled due to overcast weather, which I didn't realize until after I got there, but I enjoyed the museum until closing time. I weighed options and saw a coffee & comedy Meetup even further from my home in Manassas, which I decided to do since the astronomy event was canceled, and I had already driven all that way. Experience at Jirani: This was a cute coffee house in historic downtown Manassas. The iced chai was excellent, and the staff was friendly. Then, the comedy at nearby ART Factory was great too as was the museum which had some free wine & hors d'oeuvres. If I'm ever in Manassas, I'd definitely try to get back to Jirani!

But trust me, this is one of those places you'll be glad you found. I love Turkey, and the second I tried their food, it genuinely took me right back. We ordered the traditional Turkish breakfast, and it was one of those meals where the food just keeps coming in the best way possible. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, comforting, and so clearly made with care. We also tried the flatbread, a meat wrap, smoothies, their special soup which was so good I would absolutely go back just for that, warm catmir for dessert, and a bunch of appetizers. Honestly, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I also had the chance to meet the owner and chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly puts so much heart into this place. And the restaurant itself completely surprised me because it is way bigger inside than you'd expect. Super clean, modern, beautifully designed, and honestly such a cute brunch spot. Weekend music nights? Love that. Girls brunch? Absolutely. Date night? Definitely. Family dinner? 100 percent. Finding the love of your life? Slightly better odds if someone's mom brings their eligible son. Overall, this really is such a lovely hidden gem and absolutely worth checking out if you're craving authentic Turkish food in the Manassas area.

Service was impecable, shout out to our server Ilke, she was so nice and attentive. She recommended getting my serpme, which was perfect to share for 2 adults and two kids. It comes with a variety of spreads, sweet and savory. All freshly made. The fig jam, butter and honey, feta spread and tomato one were amazing!! You get a side dish, we got the eggs with tomatoes and pepper and they were delicious! The zucchini fritter was also delicious. The spreads come with unlimited bread made in house. They have a huge selection of delicious looking desserts. We got complimentary baklavas that were amazing, so we didn't get to try any other dessert but we can't wait to come back!!

The default vanilla latte isn't overly sweet, which is good. The regular latte is pretty well pulled. Not over extracted, but a little too much milk for my preference. My raspberry crumble was also good, but could have used more raspberry. I prefer to taste the raspberry as the predominant flavor and in this bar it was a bit masked by the crumble. Still enjoyable though. It's a bit tight inside and typical of an independent coffee shop. Wooden floors and something to look at wherever you turn. Definitely a decent place to grab a cup of coffee if you are in old town. We haven't been here in the evening, it they do have a decent beer list for later in the day.

While other donut shops specialize in cake donuts, Yoder's focuses more on the raised style. They have several kinds of donuts to choose from, including their "classic" menu (vanilla, maple, cinnamon sugar), as well as their signature menu (turtle, cinnamon toast crunch, maple bacon, Bavarian creme filled.) If you want HUGE donuts, you can also get the food truck size. Be warned though, those are big! I ordered 6 donuts so I could try a little bit of everything. The smores donut was one of my favorites, and as huge as it was, I liked the food truck Bavarian creme. Overall, this was a great way to get a sweet treat on the weekend!
