Had partaken before from Yoder's food truck at the local Saturday farmers market, so the Missus and I went to their storefront on a dreary damp late Sunday morning. Easy parking nearby. Plenty of seating as we were the only dine-ins. Maybe 7-8 donuts to choose from? The maple sugar had a nice texture; a little chewy substance to it unlike Krispy Kreme or whatever, which is all air, yet not a heavy donut. The raspberry filled had a perfect amount of filling. Like $4.50ish. Would I make the 45-min drive just for Yoder's? No. But if in Manassas area, definitely partaking. read more

While other donut shops specialize in cake donuts, Yoder's focuses more on the raised style. They have several kinds of donuts to choose from, including their "classic" menu (vanilla, maple, cinnamon sugar), as well as their signature menu (turtle, cinnamon toast crunch, maple bacon, Bavarian creme filled.) If you want HUGE donuts, you can also get the food truck size. Be warned though, those are big! I ordered 6 donuts so I could try a little bit of everything. Cute little hole in the wall type spot that I've been curious to try every time I drive by it to the library. They have a great variety of flavors, with also seasonal rotating ones. I got two that the cashier recommended! They were good but definitely insanely sweet. If you are used to like Dunkin donuts, these are closer to Krispy Kreme (plus thick sugar icing and toppings). Just beware! I'd say this would be difficult to eat one whole by myself, but would be fun to get as a group and taste test multiple pieces. read more

A gem in Manassas Park that everyone should try at least once! My husband and I stopped by to try the donuts that everyone has been raving about. On Saturday morning, before the farmers market opened, there was no one around, but Yoder's was welcoming customers. As we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly welcome. They had a total of 8 different donut options available. It seemed like some of them were seasonal. Each donut was light and generously topped with glaze, cream, and more. Manassas, VA - Needed a snack at the Saturday Manassas Farmers Market - Yoders food truck was the perfect answer! Service was quick and friendly. The donut makers genuinely seemed to be having fun at their craft. That's awesome!! We sampled the vanilla glazed donut. It was still warm which made for messy finger licking eating. Believe me this is not a problem but a plus in my mind. The vanilla glaze was nice and vanilla tasting without being overly sweet. I would definitely stop by again. Cute shop with prompt friendly service. There are tables but I got my donuts to go. These are huge! I would definitely return for the unfilled - cinnamon sugar, vanilla glazed, and maple. They were unbelievable. The filled (both vanilla and chocolate) weren't as good, so we'd probably skip them next time. I want to start off by saying we tried these donuts later in the evening. Unfortunately I think that did not give us the best experience. The donut tasted a bit stale and he had already started putting away the toppings and said you can only have what is still out. In my opinion it would be better to be "closed" and then put everything away then to serve stale donuts and limit your toppings. We ended only eating a few bites as it just wasn't that good. Great addition to the area. Delicious Amish hand rolled donuts. The last time I had anything like this was from Redding Terminal market- I've wanted something similar ever since. They are a lot denser than Krispy Kreme or any average donut in the best way possible. They are also twice the size of the average donut. They use a standard donut box but it only fits a half dozen. I only tried the vanilla glazed (because I'm basic) and holy cow. I will 100% go out of my way for these again. I also tried the passion fruit strawberry ice tea lemonade. Super good- not too sweet, not too tart. They also have breakfast sandwiches on a donut roll. I'd be interested to try that next time. They had a sign that said they will offer ice cream soon! Service is great- prompt and super friendly. Interior has lots of tables and seating. For a donut shop, it's spacious. The white and black gives it a retro diner vibe. Checked out Yoder's for the first time this morning and it was great. I met a friend here at 8:30am and it wasn't too crowded for a Friday morning. The inside is spacious and it looks like they are also putting an ice cream shop on the other side of the suite. The staff was super quick, polite, and knowledgeable about what donuts they were serving today. I got a mixed 6-pack, including all types of their donuts. We stayed for a bit to chat and eat a donut, and enjoyed the ambiance. There are plenty of tables and space inside. I took the rest of my donuts home and have tried one more, as well as having my husband try one (I stole a bite - for science!!!). They were all delicious and kept well for eating later. From what I remember, they only had their classic glazed from that truck. I know a truck started coming around to Manassas farmer's markets, but now that they have a store front, I was so excited! Came here during their soft opening. There were ~8 people in front of me, but it goes fast. I love that there are now an assortment of flavors, but can never go wrong with their OG Glazed. The consistency of all the donuts are soft yet chewy yet melts in your mouth all at the same time. DONUTS: ~Vanilla glazed classic (5/5): their original and a crowd pleaser ~Blueberry classic (5/5): basically their vanilla glazed with some blueberries. So good ~Nutella filled (3/5): probably my least favorite one. The dough on this one was a little denser. The Nutella cream was fine but would prefer if it was injecting with just Nutella ~Vanilla creme filled (4/5): good flavor and the creme on the inside was very light ~Raspberry filled (5/5; personal preference): if you like tart fruity flavors, this one was very good! Was out for a walk and to my surprise saw new donut shop had opened on Manassas Drive. Of course, I had to check it out. Nice size restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating during the summer months. It was an average donut shop with fancy donuts. The service was great, though I came in early in the morning and order like a sandwich ,coffee, and two donuts. The ambience wasn't really like somewhere I would like to stay and eat for a long period of the time, but it was good enough for a quick bite. Came here right when they opened and there was already a few people in line. We got half a dozen of their filled and non-filled donuts (or is it doughnuts?). We liked the non-filled ones better because they were fluffier like beignets and the filled ones was good too but not as fluffy. Probably to hold in the filling better. The donuts are huge though. A dozen donuts needs two separate boxes. These donut sizes remind me of the old school Shoppers Food Warsehouse donuts (size wise but not flavor. Yoders are much better tasting). I really enjoy Yoder's donuts and the owner and staff are always very friendly. They've changed their menu so they now have a wider variety of smaller donuts in addition to the original "truck stop" donuts, which are larger. They are a great addition to the DC (NoVa) area. read more

I love yeast doughnuts, and these absolutely did not disappoint! Super fresh, moist interior, and not cloyingly sweet. Good variety of flavors available when we stopped in (family faves were the maple and maple blueberry) and store was clean, and staff were super friendly -- overall excellent experience! Honestly, I'd rather have a fresh glazed Krispy Kreme or Texas Donuts in Centreville. I had a jelly filled and a blueberry donut and they were fine, but I wasn't blown away. The donuts I had were not cake donuts or cake like in any way, so don't let some of these other reviews confuse you. These are yeast donuts, but they are much more dense than a Krispy Kreme glazed, almost like bread. The donuts are expensive at ~$4 each, but they are large and filling. Final negative, the young person working there barely looked up when help us, and my wife and I were the only ones in the store. Yoder's is serving up delicious donuts, but they are a little pricey. They have plenty of stock now that they've been open for a few months, which is great. Smaller, not as over the top as I remember last time, and not as fresh. The vanilla had two sizes (small and large) for some reason. We did the large. I remembered Yoder from food truck days in my neighborhood so I was very excited to see they now have a shop and offer more flavors. Shop is spacious and nice amount of seats available for eating in. Service was good. I got one of each of the flavors available that day. The smell of the maple glaze is amazing and when you eat it, the smell stays with you (lol). The peanut butter seemed to be a favorite in our house. Looks like they are setting up to have ice cream available soon. I will probably go again to try the ice cream and see what type of creations they offer with the donuts read more

Check out Yoder's - Amish -style donuts that are effing amazing. The rings are as big as my hand and full of light fillings. Get some before the word gets out. I drove 25 minutes bc THC and am glad I did! Coming soon- ice cream sandwiches and cakes. They also have a coffee bar. Soft drinks are limited (OJ, milk, water). We ordered the sausage/bacon, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich and it was served on this magical buttery flatbread. So delicious. Parking is on-street and very limited. These donuts are massive and heavy. We got an assortment of the chocolate sprinkles, powdered sugar, glazed, blueberry glazed and peanut butter. It's one of those when you eat the whole thing, you'll feel terrible about yourself they are a little too sweet for my liking but they are heavy, dense and filling. Nothing special about the doughnuts. I purchased a mixed box 6 pack and I found the doughnuts to be chewy and rubbery. You are really better off at Dunkin, Crispy Crème and Duck Donuts. Went to the new One Loudoun location just as they were opening .. such a cute little stand w build your own donuts. Jules and Sam exceeded expectations. As a PA Dutch native myself, I am super picky w high expectations for my donuts and no where in NOVA could meet my requirements in the last decade living here.. Love the flavors that update each week! The Bavarian cream is the best donut I've had in a long time, and my husband adores the blueberry glazed. The staff is friendly - we've been 2 times. We never have to wait and there's lots of room for seating. Just be careful if you parallel park because a lot of people drive fast down the hill.
