Club sandwich

Great local place! The place was clean and neat. The guy who took my order was friendly. I had the club sandwich. It was a good size and freshly made. The fries were good too. The only negative is they had the tv very loud. But it was great to try a local place. Food & service were outstanding!

We stopped here with my husband after we read some reviews. We loved it! Great service. Casual, self serve. And most important the food was delicious. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo and I had the typical plate. I couldn't help myself and ordered a pupusa . Highly recommend this restaurant. By the way, although it says it doesn't accept Apple Pay they do accept it

Went in for breakfast and got the kids a chorizo burrito to split. The burritos are pretty big and very tasty. Comes with an optional salsa verde or what tastes like a chipotle salsa. Will be heading back for more burritos in the future!

YUM! I used to live in Utah where Mexican restaurants are very popular. There is one chain in particular that is known for their MASSIVE and yummy breakfast burritos. After living here 3 years and searching high and low, Virginia has proven to be seriously lacking in a good breakfast burrito (unless I want to pay an arm and a leg at Eggspectations for one) that is, until I found this place. Searching around Yelp one day, desperate to find something even close to my missed breakfast burritos, this place came up in my search. Could this be it? Could all my dreams be coming true!? I called in an order one day, planning to pick up two, one for myself, and one to drop off to the hubby at work. I ordered one bacon and one sausage. The guy running the cash register was very friendly and funny. He said he had the chef remake the burritos as she had made them both with both bacon and sausage. Nice of him to catch that. $16 for the two burritos. Not too bad, we paid $12 for two in Utah. The burritos are massive, I can't eat an entire one in one sitting. Well worth the price. They come with black beans, sour cream and hot sauce. He warned me multiple times that the sauce was very very hot. It was pretty hot but I'm a fan of heat, and once you add it with the sour cream it balances it out. The burritos still ended up both having both sausage and bacon, but I'm not complaining, they were amazing. As common with breakfast burritos, they were lacking in meat. Over the phone I requested double meat but I don't think that happened. Unless that was why they both had bacon and sausage, I'm not sure. But regardless, these weren't a perfect match, but the closest I have found and I am beyond thrilled to have found these. So good!

A great new Deli in the neighborhood! If you like fresh, home made deli sandwiches you must stop in and meet Carlos & Lorena. Open only for three months they are growing their business as a start-up leveraged from their catering business. They are in a small strip center off Route 28 near the 234 PWC Parkway Interchange between the Tokyo Barber's and the Pipe Shop. I ordered take out but they have four booths and a bright and well decorated restaurant. I wanted some soup with chicken and rice as i've not been able to score any at area mexican or latino restaurants in my Manassas hood. You also get a grilled cheese with this great $4.99 value. It was delicious, excellent, muy sabroso! I also orderd a chicken salad sandwich, toasted, it comes with lettuce, tomato and mayo...another excellent sandwich. I rounded it out with a delicious slice of homemade pumpkin pie, it was exceptional! I was VERY impressed talking with Carlos and his wife to learn of their commitment to quality, service and affordability. If you're are in this area you MUST check this place out. They serve Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner everyday except Sunday. In addition to their traditional deli meu selection they also serve, Carne Asada, tamales and taquitos. A great selection of soups all served with grilled cheese. They have wings, wraps and desserts! ALL the desserts are made by Lorena. Tres leeches, Tiramisu & Flan. Try it and support your IOO, Independently, Owned and Operated restaurants.

Best taquitos I've ever had. Breakfast burritos are solid too, but they're not really my thing. Excellent service

Sub-par breakfast burrito. Waaaay too many onions & peppers. I was really trying to like it, but couldn't finish.

I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this place -- every…read moresingle time I go, I leave beyond satisfied, a little stuffed, and with money still in my pocket. That combo is rare and I refuse to take it for granted. The food is just incredible across the board. And I mean ALL of it. I have yet to order something that didn't completely deliver. The flavors are bold, authentic, and made with what clearly feels like actual care and love going into every dish. It's the kind of food that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what's happening. And the prices? Beyond reasonable. You are getting so much food and flavor for what you pay -- it never feels like a splurge even when you go all out on the order. I find myself coming back any chance I get and honestly the hardest part of the visit is just deciding what to get because everything is that good. It's become one of those non-negotiable spots for me -- the kind of place I'll drive for and never think twice about. If you're in the Manassas area and you haven't been to La Jarochita yet, fix that immediately. You will not regret it, you will not leave hungry, and your wallet will thank you.

We drove out of our way to try this place and honestly it was a bit confusing to figure out where to order. There are two lines and it's not very clear which one we are supposed to get in for what. Especially because some of the items are duplicate on both menus. I noticed there was barely anyone in the "restaurant" line. Anyway, we sort of got a little bit of everything and wasn't completely brown away. I liked that they let you add your own toppings, and all of the sauces that have available were great. But the taco meats all sort of lacked a bit of flavor. Carnitas are my favorite but these were a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were very nice and juicy where others were hard to chew. I will say the place is very clean and spacious. They're pretty quick with your order as well. The food was lacking flavor for me personally. Overall, I don't think I would go back.

I had no idea that they offered a small bowl of complementary ceviche, which is actually really good. Like, so good, that I'm going to have to go back just to get that. The queso was also good. It was the standard white queso that I commonly associate with the Midwest because for the longest I couldn't get it on the East Coast, but it's not queso fundido. They offer Coke from a fountain, which is a huge plus. And the salsa was really good. The chips and salsa were free, so they absolutely get bonus points for that. It was a random Saturday evening when I came in, and they were setting up for what looked like live music and a fun night. The service was really good and parking was easy since it's in a plaza. I would highly recommend this place. They were fast and super sweet.

While looking at the menu, we were served the complimentary chips and salsa which was good. For entrees, we had Filete ala Crema, al Gusto Soup, and Tacos (I forgot which one specifically). The serving sizes were humongous! The Filete ala Crema could probably we shared by 2-3 people. I could say the same for the soup and the tacos. We could say that the seafood was fresh - no funny smells and the food was prepared well. The prices were reasonable. We would love to go back for when we are craving for seafood.

WHAT I ATE - Virginia @ El Garage Restaurant…read moreManassas, VA We stumbled on El Garage Restaurant while shopping around Manassas and are happy with our find! There are tons of Mexican and latino eateries in the Manasas area. Some good, and some great! We think this a great one for great tasting food, affordable prices and authenticity. They have a pretty extensive menu of items. We were curious about the food kept hot in the steam tables, and we were introduced to BARBACOA! We also wanted to try something different and had not had goat or lamb done Mexican style. What a treat! Warm, tender lamb and goat, seasoned perfectly and accompanied with Mexican rice, black beans and fresh, hot tortillas. We'd say the portions of meat were generous, and so good we ate everything! The green chile sauce was spicy, but not terribly so. Watch out for the red sauce, as it may be spicier than most people can tolerate. I'm not normally a fan of Mexican rice, but this rice was very flavorful, with perfectly cooked tender grains that had the rice amount of "stickiness" to keep it on the fork or in the taco. For drinks, the cooling, sweet/tart house made Tamarindo was so good and kind of lemony in flavor. They also have Jarritos brand tamarindo in bottles, but trust me. Fresh made tamarindo is better! El Garage Restaurant is on our list of place to stop for lunch or dinner when we are in this part of Manassas. VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/GfoSv3cZ2pE
