My new job had a Golly Waffles stand for a couple hours in the office and I would've gotten 5 if I didn't want to make a good impression LOL. I'm not sure if the gentleman I spoke to was the owner, but he was extremely kind and easygoing. If I remember correctly, I got the cinnamon waffle with cream cheese icing and as you can see, I couldn't wait to take a bite. I would definitely look into booking them for a work event or even having them at your wedding!! read more

I had Golly waffles cater a fall festival event last week. The set up was perfect. The booth was eye catching and well branded. Definitely helps boost excitement while waiting in line for delicious waffles with all the trimmings. The team was extremely professional, most of all, the waffles were spectacular! This is my second time using them because we had special requests to have the return. Each event called for a different set up, so we've had the both the tent and waffle truck set up and both events were catered and executed to perfection! read more

Golly Waffles just came to Priority Toyota Springfield for an employee appreciation event. Evey thing went well. There was great communication before, during and after then event. Everyone enjoyed the waffles and the variety that was offered. We will definitely invite Golly waffle back for another event in the future. Thank you for a great turn out. read more

I was very apprehensive about waffles on a stick, I mean, really, how good can they be? Well, after trying my first waffle, i had a near religious experience. I realized that there is a heaven. You can find it on earth. Golly Waffle creates a dimensional portal to heaven straight into your mouth. Nutella and coconut all the way! read more

Their truck was at Blend coffeehouse this morning and my friend got two of their waffles on a stick for $6 and I took just a small bite of each (too hot for me today and I had breakfast already). We tried the Cinnamon waffle with apple topping and whipped cream, and the Red velvet with cream cheese frosting and whipped cream. Of the two, I liked the red velvet best. It tasted like a soft cake. I could not taste the apple on the other. Neither waffle had that nice outside crunch, if you're into a waffle with a slight crunch on the outside, soft center. I like the concept and I recommend the red velvet. read more

I would recommend these folks! I had them at my sons wedding and also had them at my office for a tasty treat. AMAZING

I just hired Golly Waffles for my daughters event. This was hands down the most professional catered setup, delivery and execution of sweet product. The waffles was the icing on the cake to my daughters birthday. Even with a small space they set up and pulled off a great event. The bonus is their waffles are sooooo good. They showed up early, set up effortlessly, performed great and everything tasted amazing. Couldn't ask for more. read more

I love this food truck but I'm only giving three stars because 1, they don't consistently show up where they say they're scheduled to be and if there are changes on their location, they don't update their website, Facebook, twitter, instagram - nothing. I have driven to their usual locations only to find that they aren't there. 2, they have charged incorrectly and given the wrong amount of change on several occasions so be careful with what they're charging you and then check your change. Other than that, I like their waffles and it's a good light breakfast for me. I'm not fond of their chocolate or red velvet waffles because they taste doughy and undercooked. The classic Belgian is the best since it provides a neutral palette for toppings and stuffings. I will continue to go, granted they are where they say they'll be. read more

I hired this company to do the dessert at my son's wedding in October and it was a hit. People loved the option of getting the waffle several different flavors and any toppings they wanted. It was truly a hit so because it was so amazing I brought them to my office today for an afternoon snack and my team just couldn't believe how amazing they were. I highly recommend the people who own the companyare super friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them. read more

So delicious and professional. I've used for a business event and personal. Such a great truck and owners!

One of the best food trucks you can go to and get some of the best waffles ever. They have so many different flavors and toppings its almost cheating. Theyre a super nice and friendly father and son business. Theyre not at the same location every single week and rotate locations, but nonetheless its worth keeping up with them. Just looking at the pictures makes me wanna skip the gym and eat some waffles. Theyre not too expensive compared to other dessert places and sometimes they even cater at George Mason University. I am hoping to come back again to try more flavors and toppings! I highly encourage everybody to come and try some of these waffles you wont regret it and itll help you forget your troubles! read more

AMAZING. We tried the sausage stuffed Belgian. For quality control purposes, we tried another. Got all kinds of sweet ones, you pick 3 toppings off the board....blame yourself if it's not amazing. Super nice guy working the window. If this food truck sounds remotely good to you, definitely try it out! They were in Ashburn when we went. Every other Saturday I think. We figured it out on FB. read more

Chocolate with strawberry sauce, whipped cream and shaved coconut flakes...wasn't great, would probably be better if they were hot and fresh waffles on a stick but ok as a snack. The chocolate batter was dry, it was a bit soggy by the time I got back to my car to eat it, which took about a minute. I'd try the one stuffed with sausage next time..different toppings of course. read more

The people that work there are incredibly nice! The waffles are just ok at best and I feel they are expensive for what you get. I spent $6, and I ordered one plain (so I could see what the actually waffle would taste like) and the other with maple syrup... it's not even real maple syrup, just high fructose corn syrup flavored goop. The other sauces are no different. Not of quality and everything just tastes boring and sugary. I really wanted to like this food truck because I love small businesses and fun ideas, I LOVE Blend coffee (which is where I tried them) but it was a miss. I think increasing the quality of their ingredients would help, and using things like real butter and real maple syrup would be step 1. read more

Menu item: Cinnamon Roll Waffle and Belgian Waffle Stuffed with Sausage - both were served on a stick What I Liked: I was able to select from a range of toppings for the waffle. I settled on cream cheese icing and cinnamon sugar for the Cinnamon Roll Waffle. My brother had syrup with his Belgian Waffle Stuffed with Sausage. Of the two, I preferred the Belgian Waffle with Sausage - pretty good mix of sweet and salty flavors. What I Didn't Like: Without the toppings, the waffles would feel incomplete. Recommended for: Those that like quick snacks to satisfy the craving - or those that like to make combinations with their toppings Not Recommended for: Anyone wanting anything more - It's a 100 calorie snack (without toppings). read more

We booked Golly Waffles for my daughters graduation party. Leading up to the event the communication with Stephen and his staff was regular and informative. On the day of the event the truck showed up on time, Stephen and Gabriel did their set up and were ready to serve just when they said they would be. Everyone was so eager as they watched these two artists get ready to serve these amazing deserts. The lineup was non-stop, the flavor selection was mind-blowing and people went back two and three times. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to go with Golly Waffles. So much fun. People are texting my daughter about how great it was. Thanks guys! read more

I had heard rumors about this new Waffle truck - maybe it was through reading Cat P's detailed review - but I was excited to see them set up at the Wellness Connection Farmer's Market a couple weeks ago. One of my favorite all time snacks is a true Belgian waffle. Crispy on the outside, soft and the slightest bit chewy on the inside with just the right amount of sweetness. Although these are not quite the Belgian waffle I crave every time I visit Brussels, they are delicious and will satisfy my craving until I have the opportunity to return. How can you possibly go wrong with a waffle on a stick? They offer three flavors - Belgian, red velvet and cinnamon bun with a wide variety of toppings and sauces to include savory choices. I believe they also make stuffed waffles - yum! My husband decided to try the cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing. I stayed true to my craving for the classic Belgian with just a bit of powdered sugar. The waffles are baked fresh so there is a bit of a wait when it's crowded. Not a problem for me, but we were offered a complimentary iced coffee due to our wait - very nice gesture on this hot summer day! The Belgian waffle was really good - crispy on the outside, nice and soft inside, not quite as sweet as that Brussels favorite, but quite delicious with the powdered sugar sprinkled on top. My husband's cinnamon bun waffle was really good as well drizzled with the icing, but I preferred the more traditional flavor of the classic. The people working the truck were so friendly and eager to tell you about their business. They have done events at schools and local businesses as well as setting up pop-ups and visiting our local Farmer's Market. I really enjoyed chatting with them while my waffle was baking. They have a Facebook page so follow them to find out where they will be next. I do really hope to continue to see Golly Waffles at the Wellness Connection Farmer's Market. I honestly can't decide what I want to try next; red velvet, savory, stuffed or just a classic with a more adventurous topping. Whatever I choose, I have a feeling it's going to be delicious! I am definitely a fan! read more

We stumbled upon Golly Waffles's stand at the Wellness Connection Farmers' Market (great farmers' market btw) and are so glad we stopped by to learn more about their unusual offering, waffle on a stick! Apparently, this style treat is nothing new, but it's definitely rarer in this neck of the woods. Everything good comes on a stick these days so waffles are no exception. They offer three types of waffles: Belgian, red velvet, and cinnamon bun. To one of these options, you can add assorted toppings like honey, sea salt, and marinara sauce! Additionally, they also sell stuffed waffles in flavors such as blueberry, banana, and bacon. Are you drooling yet? I have yet to try the stuffed specialty waffles, but I sampled the cinnamon bun waffle with cream cheese last Saturday and it was so good. Crispy on the outside and dense and cake-like on the inside. Based on quick research, I think their waffles are more Liege than Brussels-like? For me, the flavor and texture were on point. Golly Waffles has a Facebook and Instagram account so definitely follow them to find out where they'll be parking for the day. (They mainly stay in the South Riding area.) Besides the great tasting snack, we also appreciated the friendly and informative staff. Definitely a fan and will be tracking them down whenever I'm close to home and hankering for something sweet and delicious. read more

Loved the waffles. It's too much fun for kids with various options for toppings and sauces. It's like the sweet frog for waffles. Waffles are easier to hold and eat. All toppings are good quality and the waffles taste so much good. The wait time is incredibly low and kids keep eating waffles with a stick and no messy hands ! read more

Golly Waffles recently catered a breakfast for my company. They were the perfect combination of professional and friendly. They showed up on time, set up very quickly and were even kind enough to leave some waffle pops behind for anyone who didn't make it to the breakfast. I'm not a huge waffle fan to begin with but their waffle pops were very tasty (I even had seconds) and they had so many different toppings to satisfy everyone's tastebuds. As soon as they left, the first question I heard from co-workers was "Can we have waffles every day?" I would highly recommend Stephen and Golly Waffles for any event! read more

One of the best waffles I've had, this food truck turns out gourmet waffles at beyond a reasonable price. The owners and his staff are amazing and friendly to make suggestions and help with answering questions. From the sausage filled waffle to a Belgian covered in peach or berry drizzles they are all AMAZING!!! Find this food truck and you will not be disappointed and will be addicted from the first bite. My favorites are the sausage in the Belgian, the chocolate waffle Oreo and the Belgian with the berry drizzle. But all will not disappoint!!!! Find them. read more

Solid little stand at the farmers market. Wasn't sure which I wanted, so I got one of each the Belgian and red velvet. Opted for Nutella as my topping. It was pretty good. A few suggestions would be to work on making them to order. The ones I got had been sitting for a little and weren't as a warm as I could have wanted. Second would be to expand some. Maybe put some bacon in the middle, or sausage. They could definitely grow this if they took on more of a food truck approach. read more

I booked Golly Waffles to come out to our office yesterday morning for an employee breakfast appreciation. They were wonderful! They arrived early and were ready to go as soon as our event started. The waffles and toppings were fresh and delicious! The waffles are good enough to eat even without toppings. Our employees were happy and loved having the truck at the office for the morning. The two men working on the truck were really friendly and made great topping combination suggestions! It was extremely easy to book with them online and get pricing options. They were also quick to respond to any questions I had. I would highly recommend them to come cater an event and I definitely plan to pay them a visit in the future to try more of these waffles! read more

Golly waffles provided waffles for one of our office parties and I fell in love with them. You can't have just one! they are so good. My favorites are the plain and cinnamon. The owner is very accommodating and will do a private order of waffles. I get enough to last me a week and they do well in the fridge. I reheat them in the toaster oven (my preference) and voila, breakfast is served on a stick! My 10 year old loves them too. read more
