My favorite coffee shop in Warrenton! Every time I am visiting my friend in VA it's a must for me to grab coffee from here. The taste of the coffee is so fresh it really doesn't compare to any coffee shop back home. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The coffee shop definitely has a homey feel to it. I love seeing how everyone knows each other and being so kind towards one another. The food is just as good as the coffee! A very cute cafe that rightfully had a line out the door on Saturday morning. They have creative drinks and pastries, and they were very kind about helping me find allergen info despite being so busy. The maple bacon biscuit was delicious, and their chai was very good. They also had a number of unique syrup flavors for drinks. There was a decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Found this gem on tiktok & SO happy we made the 1 hour drive. Everyone was SO friendly & kind. The inside was also adorable such a vibe in there! The coffee cake & banana bread were to die for- so so delicious. But the real stars of the show were their weekly specials! I love that they come out with new drinks every week. We needed a little weekend treat and finally swung over to goodness & grace. While busy on a Saturday morning, the line was just about to the door and seemed to move at a decent speed. Social media did its thing since we saw the Brown Sugar Snickerdoodle latte and wanted to give it a go. Being near lunch time, we also grabbed a biscuit made with ham, cheese, and chive mixed in, plus the oatmeal cookie sandwich. Outside was still nice and we grabbed a table. The order was ready pretty quickly. There's a decent amount of seating indoors, but the in/out can get a bit tight when it's busy. I felt like prices are ok, though it's not an everyday kind treat. My wife and I drove an hour for this coffee and I promise it did not disappoint. To start inside was such a cozy and chill vibe. The service was fantastic, everyone was super friendly and made amazing coffees. The coffee cake and banana bread were top tier baked goods to have with a coffee. The Samoa latte was 10/10 one of the best lattes I've had in a long time. Thin mint is more of my wife's favorite drink but even I loved it! Pastries were very good, but there is no reason a decent coffee should cost 9 dollars. Very crowded but the line moved fast. Also, be careful with outdoor seating it's at an incline with cheap chairs, so make sure you pick good seating so you're not trying to keep your balance in the chairs they have. Also good luck finding any parking. I didn't think this place was worth the hype. read more

I've been frequenting GG's (as I now familiarly refer to it) since right after its opening and I have yet to be disappointed. While I'm not big on fancy coffees, they have tons of options in this category and weekly specialty drinks they post via Instagram, if that's your thing! Their pastries and greetings are what I believe keep people returning time and time again. When you walk into a place and are greeted with eye contact and a cheerful, "welcome in!" you're immediately set at ease, knowing you belong and are wanted there; this happens almost always you walk into Goodness and Grace, and 100% of the time when the owner is present. It makes an impact every time. So if fancy coffees, delicious pastries, and feeling seen is your thing: this is your spot! Goodness & Grace offers delicious coffee with latte options limited only by your own creativity. You can mix and match flavorings from a choice of 20+ to create whatever your tastebuds are craving. I've tried brown sugar and spice on a cold day and lavender vanilla iced for sunny weather and they were easily some of the best lattes I've had anywhere. Besides the coffee, they have incredible baked goods made fresh daily. Top hits for me have been the cinnamon rolls and the crumb topping donut (baked not fried and it's fluffy, airy, moist perfection). Baked goods selection changes daily but they do generally have at least one gluten free option available. Servers and owner are cheerful, friendly and helpful. If you can't decide they are happy to suggest options. You really can't go wrong though, everything is delicious here. Seating is limited with options of several small tables or a comfy sofa inside. Atmosphere is rustic modern and cozy. They do have a large glass door that is opened in warm weather. Parking is on street or in the public lots. Highly recommend if you're in the area. read more

My toddler knocked over a half-full coffee by mistake - the employees didn't even bat an eye. They helped us clean up, then replaced the coffee for us despite our best efforts to repurchase it. Absolutely love this coffee shop! We were passing through and decided to stop, I'm so glad we did. The baked goods were HUGE and they even had gluten free/dairy free baked good options which was such a treat for me. The employees were friendly and everyone was busy doing their jobs with joy. Many young families with children came through while we were there, and everyone inside showed so much joy and grace towards all the little ones which blessed me so much to see, including other patrons. My husband and I visited around mid-June to this little shop while we were in town for a doctor appointment. The first thing we noticed was its warm and inviting atmosphere. We also noticed that they really focus their business on showing the love of Christ to others and it was so wonderful to see it in action! I want to support our brothers and sisters in Christ, so we were excited to stop in. We were there later in the morning, which likely explains the modest food selections, but it wasn't a bother at all. The coffee was okay, but we did have some constructive criticism to provide for it: The espresso shots were overwhelmed by the milk ratio. I'm not sure how many grams you're pulling in the shot, but if you are willing to take a suggestion, I'd recommend 18g of beans brewed into a 36g shot. This would be a traditional American double shot (most shops use this). A good starting ratio for milk would be 200ml. You can play with flavorings of 10-20g depending on preference and easily have a full-bodied drink that isn't overpowered by one or the other. Otherwise, it's a good little shop in a really great downtown location. You can certainly count on being greeted as a friend here. I hope yall continue to succeed and grow! read more

We go out of our way to come here, about an hour round trip if not longer. The owner has been wonderful to us every single time we have been and even recognized us when we were out and about. There are vegan and gluten free options, the former being one of the reasons we come here. The chocolate chip peanut butter balls are a family favorite and a part of our order ever time. It's basically a fight between adults and kids who gets the last bite. Speaking of kids, there's a little kid corner complete with a chalkboard and toy espresso machine. There is also a small table and chairs and a refrigerator with juices and yogurt for the younger crowd to order. If you order a London fog, you're welcome! I may be the reason why it's on the menu! Of course the best way is with oat milk imo! My husband also loves the espresso! It's made very well every time we have been, so much so that I almost change my order for an espresso drink. Almost. This is a really cute little cafe/coffee shop! The staff members are friendly and everything looks so good! I have only been once and I I ordered two gluten free items: a double chocolate muffin and a mini banana bread loaf. The banana bread was amazing! The muffin was kind of crumbly. My only concern as someone who has to eat gluten free is that there was one set of tongs for both the regular baked goods and the GF baked goods. The same tong touched both products and therefore created cross-contamination for the GF. I did have the lady give me a pre-packaged banana bread so as to avoid getting sick, but I didn't feel the greatest afterwards anyway. Maybe it might be helpful to ensure precautions are made to avoid cross-contamination in the future? I would love to give this place another try, but I don't want to worry about getting sick.
