It's a spacious cafe with a lot of seating. Clean and bright. The perfect place for relaxing, finishing work or school work. The music is traditional but light for conversation or just window starring lol.. I got a cappuccino and a pistachio-brownie. The bakery selections are mostly rich and heavy.I believe is a middle eastern influences. The Barista is so nice and friendly. I highly recommend this hang out spot. My brother , girlfriend and I went to shotted on Friday night and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!! We enjoyed everything we got which was the matcha latte, red velvet coffee & hibiscus tea and sandwich's with dessert. The service was good and we did not feel rushed. This place is so much bigger than the old location, there's even a study room which is really nice. The food looks absolutely delicious but I haven't had the chance to try it yet. I did request a little less sweetness in my latte but I want to come back here and try everything else. Shotted is a must-try in Gainesville. I visited while it was busy but well-managed on Sunday afternoon. Tried the Spanish latte, salmon avocado sandwich, and saffron cake. The salmon avocado sandwich was fresh and flavorful -- I'd definitely order it again. Originally I planned to compare the pistachio latte and cake to the ones I'd had at Tysons, but ended up going with the Spanish latte (swayed bc it is made with sweetened condensed milk) and the saffron cake instead. Got the Spanish latte iced, which made the condensed milk flavor harder to detect. While I liked that it wasn't overly sweet, I'd opt for the hot version next time. The saffron cake was a standout -- light and not too sweet. If you usually enjoy rich, sweet things like ookiecay rumblecay, you won't like it. But for those who prefer lightly sweet desserts, it's a must-try. Little touches I appreciated are cleaner bathrooms and more private stalls. Overall, it's a thoughtfully run café, and I will return. read more

Amazing addition to Gainesville! I've been to the Tyson's locations for years and was happy to see it open up in Gainesville as well. I got the Pistachio Latte which is always incredible! Honestly, there are very few drinks I can consume that quickly! My husband got the spanish latte which he loved as well. I want to go back and give their pastries another try. The place is cute, but what I got was just okay. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk and it wasn't that good. There wasn't a lot of strawberry jam and it was mediocre. The matcha just tasted like oat milk and had a very dull color. It was not nearly as vibrant as it looked in the picture. I also got the blueberry danish and lotus donut. The blueberry danish was very subpar. It could've been a lot flakier. I liked the lotus donut though, it had a nice texture and the icing on it tasted good. The place is very spacious. It would be a good place to study. I probably wouldn't come back. read more

Brownie was a bit drier than expected, red velvet cookie was ok. The bakery items here are hard to compare to the previous cafe that was here. Regular coffee drip was good. It's tough with coffee shops opening in our area especially when Starbucks is right across the corner to compete with. Lots of seating inside and outside. read more

I got the pesto mozzarella sandwich, and the blueberry cream cheese danish, and the lotus donut (biscoff). The sandwich is a 2 star - flavorless, needed salt, some basil, and balsamic. The bread was very bready - overall felt like airline food. The danish was a 3.5 star- tasted ok but it was again like something I might get at a buffet or an airplane. The donut was the only thing I would get again - had a nice chew and tasted good. 4 stars for the donut. The inside is very cute - spacious and well lit, a lot of seating inside and outside, and a good selection of desserts. But I would only come again to try a coffee and another donut. read more

Their set up is exactly what Tous le Jour's set up was at this location with a few updates to the ambiance but the food selection was lacking. Hit this spot three times in last 2 weeks. It's really cool. From the outside it kinda looks like a generic strip mall kinda place. Inside, not at ALL. Clean, polished white granite and brass and just a great Middle East meets America vibe. Lots for the eyes as well as great coffee drinks (pistachio latte with real pistachio paste) small bites (gluten free crunchy salmon and avocado sandwich) AND the sweets! Too many to list and they looked amazing. Plenty of room. Comfy areas inside and outside. Plenty of parking. If you go to the Starbucks 50ft away you are missing out. Service is fast and friendly. We've been to Shotted twice. The first time we went we tried the pistachio latte and pistachio donut, both of which were delicious. The donut was soft and had a lot of filling. This time we were disappointed. We ordered the pistachio cheesecake, because we liked the pistachio before. $8.50 seemed pretty high for the cake in the display. When they handed us the cake, we were shocked. It was half the size of what was in the display. This cheesecake is way over priced for what you get. Shotted was also extremely over staffed for how many customers were there. There were at least two or three people standing behind the counter doing nothing. read more

Tried Shotted in Gainesville location for the first time on a Friday night around 8:30 p.m. Placed a "to go" order for some pastries (cream-filled croissant with strawberries and a raspberry cheese danish) and a brownie. The pastries were top notch; the brownie had little flavor and was very dry. I love brownies; so that was a big disappointment. Maybe it was made early in the day and had just dried out. We'll go back for the pastries though. There was a very big crowd outside in their large, attractive open area. Beautiful weather for that. Couldn't see the crowd inside from where I was standing but it was extremely noisy because of two uncontrolled children running around and screaming. I was glad we had ordered "to go". Not the operation's fault, but where were the parents?? The decor inside remains attractive from the previous owner and possibly some changes that Shotted made. Give it a try. read more

Came in around 9am. Ordered a Strawberry matcha and got a a savory pastry. Dilara took my order (according to my reciept lol) and was very nice and made sure to double check if I wanted it sweeter or not. She also offered to heat up my pastry which was nice. One of the staff later came when I was seated to organize and clean off the tables. The seating area is very clean and the employees attentiveness to keeping it that way is clear. The drinks here are on par with the Tysons and Dulles locations. I've tried pistachio, red velvet, and mocha so far, and they are all very good. I got their chocolate chip walnut cookie, chocolate pastry, and lotus and pistachio donuts. The cookie is very very close to Levain's, and I'd gladly come back here to get it instead of having to drive out all the way to Georgetown. Chocolate pastry is good too - it had a nice chocolatey filling and a crunchy top. The donuts were a bit underwhelming. Toppings were good but the dough itself felt greasy and dense. There wasn't much filling inside either. I think if they have more filling and have a lighter yeasty dough it will be perfect. Place is gorgeous with plenty of outdoor seating. Pastries did take significantly longer than the drinks to package up, which was unusual, because maybe I'm spoiled from the Korean bakeries packaging things right away as you are paying at the counter. read more
