2 eggs scrambled with bacon and hashbrowns.

Awesome down-to-earth place with a very homely vibe. I made the trip to VA for some quality time with my BL who lives about 5 mins away from Public. We decided on brunch and hit this spot. The ambiance, service and food were top notch! He had the two eggs with bacon, and I opted for the Benny with a hard fried egg (instead of over easy). It was a very delightful experience with everything fresh and hot. Highly recommend and whenever I get to this side of the world, I will be back!!!

Stopped in for lunch at the Public House. I had the tips sandwich with mushrooms, onions, and Swiss. It was delicious on a soft fluffy roll. I got fried Brussels sprouts as a side and they were delicious too. My hubby had the Rueben and it was very good! He liked the shaved corned beef. The fries were good too. I had the Strawberry Fields forever and it was perfect, not too sweet. My husband had the spicy Bloody Mary and enjoyed it. The server was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is smallish but eclectic. They do have some out door seating. We look forward to coming back.

Came here after rock climbing cause they had some food the kids would eat... the dining room was empty when we arrived (a few people at the bar) and the server put some tables together for our group of six (three kids). It took a while for the server to come (we were ready to at least order apps and drinks right away)... finally took our appetizer order and then disappeared... our chili nachos came out pretty quickly but we had polished off the entire plate before the sever came back to take our orders (two drinks were also empty) before drinks being refilled and an order being taken. We ordered kids grilled cheese, kids burger, kids chicken fingers, salmon frittata, Greek burger, and chicken and waffles... the server opted not to write the orders down which made me nervous based on the inattentiveness of our server... but hoped for the best.... When our food came out it was quite wrong... we ended up with two kids burgers, chicken tenders, chicken and waffles, Greek burger, and veggie frittata... we were missing the grilled cheese and the frittata was incorrect... so we opted to just cancel the frittata and send the incorrect one back because it took so long to try and waive someone down to help correct our order. My Greek burger came out with no tzatziki sauce(and took asking three people to get), the grilled cheese took a while to come out too so we asked for it to be boxed up and our check. I hope this was a one off thing because this place seemed to have a good menu... but based on our experience we won't be back and I can't recommend it as a place for other people. It was packed as we were getting ready to leave but our bad experiences started when it was still dead... if you're in the area I'd suggest checking something else out!

Who's open late on a Christmas Eve while others shut down at 10PM? Public House! I've been here off and on and have never been disappointed. The hospitality, diversity, good natured staff and cozy environment paired with good food and drink are what makes this restaurant bar a welcome sight when you are hungry and wanting a good meal and to relax. Everything in the menu had always been great, the only thing missing are non- alcoholic drinks, but a Shirley Temple solved that. There is indoor and outdoor seating, street parking or a nearby garage, within walking distance of local old Town shops, VRE and Amtrak train station, banks, post office and police station. You will make this one of your favorite pub stops, give it a try. + great eats + great vibe + customer service + parking + outdoor seating - non-alcoholic cocktail beverages

Ambiance is that of a neighborhood corner pub where you can catch the footgame and eat well. Varied menu that does not disappoints had the deviled eggs (skip these as they are very plain) and the maple bacon appetizer (more of a pork belly cut, still delectable!). The Service is a tad slow as our waitress was running behind, HOWEVER the other waiter DID make sure we had drinks and appetizers to start. Great teamwork! So I started with a sugar cookie martini with all the sprinkles! The Spicy Southwest burger with peach bbq sauce was SPICY and great to warm you up in a cold wintry day. Highly recommend getting the sauce on the side and dipping instead due to the spicy nature of the burger. Definitely able to breathe well after this one! The spice level was epic and delicious, so you are forewarned!

Interior of the cooked wing and the rare bacon from the Mac and cheese.

We went for the first time on a Saturday at 6:30. The restaurant was pretty full, but we were greeted right away and sat at a 4 top table in the back. Destiny, our waiter, was great - fast with orders, gave recommendations, cleared items quickly. We had the poutine to start - very good! We ordered the wings, the Mac and cheese entree and a kids meal pizza. The flavors were all good, but every food item needed a few more minutes of cooking. The restaurant was 1/2 empty so it wasn't because the kitchen was slammed. The wings were on the rare side. The onion rings were limp. The Mac and cheese had pieces of undercooked bacon in it. The kid's "pizza" was a pita bread. It is too bad that the food didn't match the ambiance or quality of service. We brought the food home because with a few minutes in the air fryer - everything will be delicious. I included picture of the food we brought home.

We came here on a Sunday evening for dinner. We sat outside because it was nice outside today. Waitress was very great. 5 stars. She was very polite and friendly and helpful. She was also very prompt. Food was 3 stars. The pretzels and cheese was really good. The burger and crispy chicken cordon blue were okay. The cordon blue was a little bit over fried. We tried a new place. It was okay. Probably won't come back. But this was worth a try.

Cute bar/brewery with outside seating. We chose to eat inside which was fine - especially once the very loud person at the bar left. The service from Jack was very attentive. My son had a cheeseburger ($10.50) and a side of kids Mac & cheese (without the roasted onions and smoked bacon - kids - what do they know). He enjoyed them both and ended up ordering another cheeseburger. I might return for the full bore Mac & cheese... I had the mussels in wine garlic broth - a pound for $11.50 which is a great price. They were absolutely delicious -- wishing I was eating them now. Unfortunately 10 of them were dead. When I brought that to Jack's attention, he checked with the kitchen. They offered me another full order for no charge, but I was already pretty full. They ended up comping me the entire dish = which was unexpected but very generous. We will definitely return when in Manassas again.

General public like atmosphere. Service highly depends on server. Ours was attentive, but brought us the wrong bill. Food is good. Worth an occasional visit.

After checking in, we were quickly guided upstairs to a cozy, rounded booth--an intimate and perfect spot for two. Our server, Katie, was fantastic--attentive, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest when helping us choose between dishes. We started with the deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes, paired with the Black Sheep Mule and a watermelon cocktail (wish I remembered the name!). For our mains, we ordered the short rib rigatoni and the steak bulgogi bowl. To finish, we shared the weekly dessert special: an Earl Grey tres leches. Everything was exactly what I hoped for and more. The starters were standout, the entrees were packed with flavor, and the overall aesthetic of the space was just beautiful. We'll definitely be back--next time for brunch!

I loved this as other places I checked into were much more restrictive with a higher minimum spend and fixed menus for groups larger than 8. We had 12 in our group. We started with a bunch of appetizers for the table and cocktails. Appetizers included the bacon tower, fried green tomatoes, hushpuppies, crispy chicken wings, and Mediterranean garlic shrimp. Dinner entreés were jambalaya pasta, the American wagyu burger, pulled short rib rigatoni and branzino almondine. There were zero complaints. We enjoyed EVERYTHING!! The bourbon butter cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert literally took me over the top. My belly was ready to burst :) Our waiter was attentive throughout the entire time and everything we ordered came out perfect. I must go back soon.
