Came here for the vegan options. Really appreciate it have a list of the things on their menu that are vegan. Everything we tried was delicious. Would have loved a few more protein options and some desserts, but what we did order was delicious. The place is gorgeous and super pleasant to spend time in. And the staff was truly delightful. read more

The ambiance is beautiful and has a distinctly luxurious feel. The food was good overall, but the portion sizes were unexpectedly small. I was also surprised that a Turkish restaurant served regular dinner rolls with the mutabal rather than pita or another traditional bread, which would have complemented the dish much better. It was a pleasant experience and I'm glad I tried it once, but considering the portions and a few details that didn't quite meet my expectations, I probably wouldn't return. Sorry most of my pictures are while we already started eating. read more

This spot is a little hidden behind one of those strip mall gas station setups, so seriously keep your eyes open because it would be so easy to miss. But trust me, this is one of those places you'll be glad you found. I love Turkey, and the second I tried their food, it genuinely took me right back. We ordered the traditional Turkish breakfast, and it was one of those meals where the food just keeps coming in the best way possible. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, comforting, and so clearly made with care. We also tried the flatbread, a meat wrap, smoothies, their special soup which was so good I would absolutely go back just for that, warm catmir for dessert, and a bunch of appetizers. Honestly, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I also had the chance to meet the owner and chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly puts so much heart into this place. And the restaurant itself completely surprised me because it is way bigger inside than you'd expect. Super clean, modern, beautifully designed, and honestly such a cute brunch spot. Weekend music nights? Love that. Girls brunch? Absolutely. Date night? Definitely. Family dinner? 100 percent. Finding the love of your life? Slightly better odds if someone's mom brings their eligible son. Overall, this really is such a lovely hidden gem and absolutely worth checking out if you're craving authentic Turkish food in the Manassas area. read more

What a gem!!!! This restaurant is in my top 5 DMV restaurants and I have been to a lot of restaurants in the area including Michelin star ones. We came here for Mother's Day, they don't take reservations so we made sure to arrive right when they opened. We walked right in and within 30 min there was a line of about 30 people waiting to be seated. This place is HUGE and they still had a big line, but let me tell you it is worth it!!! Service was impecable, shout out to our server Ilke, she was so nice and attentive. She recommended getting my serpme, which was perfect to share for 2 adults and two kids. It comes with a variety of spreads, sweet and savory. All freshly made. The fig jam, butter and honey, feta spread and tomato one were amazing!! You get a side dish, we got the eggs with tomatoes and pepper and they were delicious! The zucchini fritter was also delicious. The spreads come with unlimited bread made in house. They have a huge selection of delicious looking desserts. We got complimentary baklavas that were amazing, so we didn't get to try any other dessert but we can't wait to come back!! read more

Very nice family restaurant. It's Turkish cuisine and taste very good. Recommend the humus with pastrami as a starter. It's a pretty good portion and can be shared amongst 3-4 folks. They also have several "sets" on the menu, which I recommend because you can try different items on the menu. Of course you have to have a baklava and Turkish coffee. Service is great they have a lot of good recommendations and are friendly. read more

Decided to grab a chai and a quick bite to eat during my lunch break and food was ok for me. I did enjoy their chai quite a lot. Service is nice, they greet you when you enter and they took my order over the phone. I had their over easy eggs with sausage which tasted pretty good but was kind of salty. They gave me complimentary bread but it was really hard. The restaurant is huge with ample parking in a private lot. I wasn't expecting so much space. There's also what appears to be a small stage for performers? Not a lot of people were dining in but it's a casual space to sit and eat. I would return again for their drinks! read more

The only downside here is the name, which sounds like a totally different kind of business altogether. What this actually is--the best Turkish restaurant I know of on the East coast. The room is bright and modern, the vibe is authentic and upbeat. The servers and hosts actually care. And best of all, the food makes you think you are in Karakoy instead of Manassas. Menamen--the iconic tomato and egg breakfast dish--delicious--put it at the top of your order. Then just follow your whims, it is all fantastic! We also got the largest platter of jams and spreads togo on the bread. Loved it all and jonesing to go back tomorrow morning!! You need to go ASAP. read more

This is the best place to be able to nibble and try a variety of food in one sitting. The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the food is great. We tried two platters that had different dips, jams, honey, hummus etc. we also tried many of their cooked dishes, it came with complimentary tea and bread. My only complaint would be our server never returned after taking our order, never refilled water or checked how our food was. The ambiance is very nice, they have renovated the building with nice mirrors and lamps throughout, it feels upscale and elegant. read more

This place is such a gem! We've been going to since they had a small space with few tables. This visit is no different: friendly chats with the owner, nice staff, and the best food! They really care about the consistency and quality of the food! I ordered our favorites: sucuklu yumurta, beef gozleme (delightfully thin and crispy layers of dough), spinach borek, simit (so fragrant of sesame, perfectly soft amd chewy and my most fav manti (the small dumplings are soft and chewy, swimming in a party of yogurt and spices) and of course their special blend of Turkish tea! read more

Absolutely love this place! 1. Food: amazing! Classic Turkish cuisine with lots of choices. Perfect brunch spot. 2. Drinks: lots of good choices - Tea - strong Turkish tea in a thermos, like 6 cups worth of tea! Amazing! - Fresh carrot juice: can you believe it? nothing added just fresh vitamin A goodness! - Apple smoothie: have you ever heard such a thing? it is the best liquid dessert, which is also healthy! 3. Ambience: comfortable, welcoming, very spacious, tall ceiling and great for big groups. Lots of Turkish people come here. 4. Service: excellent! read more

An absolute gem! We left the DC area nearly 10 years ago but dropped in here one morning after attending a family wedding. Wow! The food options are all my favorites from childhood and taste as fresh and flavorful as i remember-- just like growing up. The array of pastries range from European classics to Turkish treats, both sweet and savory. I could eat here everyday for months and not get bored! The service was not only friendly and welcoming, but extremely professional. The wide open area of the dining area was refreshing, light and airy. read more

The food was so delicious we went two days in a row! This time we had breakfast and OMG, it did not disappoint!! Our cashiers name was Christian. He was polite, knowledgeable about the menu and he was very personable. I ordered a lemon tart and it was made with all the love in the bakers heart you hear me!! I also had a churro filled with cream (basically an eclair) and it pretty decent but nothing compared to that lemon tart! For breakfast I ordered a spinach bagel (I can't remember the actual name), it was a scrambled egg with spinach and cheese in between a bagel. Goodness gracious, it was so delicious! We also had some black tea which was also good. I'm 100% sure I will return! Chef's kiss!! read more

My Cravingz is hands down one of the best food spots in Virginia. Every single time I come here, the food is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell they don't cut corners -- the quality shows in every bite. The menu has something for everyone, and everything I've tried has been consistently amazing. Portions are generous, flavors are on point, and the presentation is always clean and appetizing. This is the kind of place where you finish your meal already planning your next visit. On top of that, the staff is super welcoming and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or coming with friends or family, My Cravingz never disappoints. If you're in Virginia and looking for food that actually satisfies your cravings, this place is a must-try. read more

Came here for breakfast and ended up staying for more than 5 hours. and I honestly couldn't be more grateful for the amazing staff! After having breakfast with my wife and our baby, I discovered that I had a flat tire. The entire staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They offered me a tire inflator, made sure my wife and baby had a comfortable place to sit while I dealt with the tire, and kept checking on us every now and then to make sure we were okay. Their kindness, hospitality, and genuine concern really meant a lot to us. What could have been a very stressful situation turned into such a positive experience because of them. Great food, but even better people. Thank you to the entire staff for taking such good care of my family. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

The staff that make food and beverages deserve a 5-star because the food and drinks was very tasteful and well prepared so I'll start there. I ordered the Kavurmali Sebzeli Pide (flatbread) and every bite was delicious. My wife ordered the Tavuk Begendi, which she enjoyed very much. For drinks. I ordered an iced Chai Latte and my wife got the apple juice which looks fancy but $7.99 for Apple juice is a bit steep. Paying more for food and drinks can be expected when the quality and quantity of it is higher but you'd also expect a bit of better service. At the entrance it says wait to be seated but no one was actually waiting there to seat us and then ultimately they said we can sit wherever. Besides the initial sit down & asking what drinks, we weren't asked what we wanted again after that.. we had to get their attention or ask the food server if they can take our order for food. With that being said, the staff there were really nice and kind. It's just traditionally, dining out should be easier. Overall, their food is GREAT but make sure you order all that you want on that first sit down in case you have a similar experience as myself and some of the other reviews. read more

This is a place that I want to see continue to do well and get on your rotation for small group events. I can't think of many better locations to go for a small group brunch out I-66. This is a family run location that is growing well and doing all the right things to craft a menu and options that can allow you to bring a diverse group of eaters to sit, and socialize. The space has recently been renovated as they worked to grow into what they will continue to be - a great stop. From coffees to full meals (i.e., Manti), you have a lot of choices here. Their sweet spot is morning to any mid-day brunch and lunch. Bring a friend, then bring more. read more

I visited My Cravingz for breakfast and caffeine - for the first time this morning. I saw the bakery sign and thought I would check them out. I was going to order a cold brew - but cold brew is not on the menu - they do have iced coffee - which I am not a fan of. I went to the register and ordered Sucuklu Yumurta (4 scrambled eggs with Turkish Sausage) and coffee. It appears you could also be seated at a table and have a waiter take your order. I paid for my order up front (with Apple Pay). I went and sat at a table and waited for my order. The drip coffee came out first - I ordered it with creamer - they brought out a small creamer carafe with the coffee - and they warmed the half n' half - which I have never experienced. The coffee was good, strong coffee. Then my food was brought out - the Sucuklu Yumurta is served rustic style in the cast iron pan it is cooked in on a wooden paddle. Be careful! The pan is very hot! Served with a small basket of bread and some butter. I've never had Sucuklu Yumurta before. I added some black pepper and devoured it. Basic but tasty! Normally - I add hot sauce to eggs - but I decided to experience this as authentically as possible (not sure if black pepper counts!) and forewent the hot sauce - although I don't know if they even offer hot sauce. In any case - the Sucuklu Yumurta was yummy! There is a ton of seating inside. And they offer free WiFi. Service was good! Nice people! #MyCravingz read more

The space has plenty of seating, but get there early because this place can get packed -- and for good reason. The food is out of this world. Literally everything on this menu is delicious. Loved the variety of sweet and savory spreads that complement the carbs. Turkish coffee and Turkish delight is the perfect end to the meal. The owner is warm, welcoming, and friendly. Yum! Been coming here for many years, since they were at the old location. Huge menu and everything is delicious. Some favourites are the mucver, the potato borek, the mozzarella pide, the hummus, and the extensive selection of desserts. Service is friendly and kind. They are willing to explain things and work with you. The seating area is large and open, with different options. You could come for dinner and sit near the stage on an evening they have music and then come back the next day for coffee and pastries and sit in the cozy seating area with the soft seats near the door and have two totally different experiences, both highly worthwhile. read more

The last time I had mıhlama it was at a small dağ evi (mountain inn) in the Karadeniz region outside Trabzon. My many-years sojourn to find this incredible stew of cornmeal and white cheese led me to the unlikely suburb of Manassas, where My Cravingz is serving up the best Turkish kahvaltı on the East Coast. We loved all of the numerous items included in the breakfast set, but our favorites were the ezme (usually not one of my preferred items), the bal-kaymak, and the poğaça. The breads and dips are all made in house, and you can taste the difference. Even the vegetables and fruits served alongside appeared to be of elevated quality, enhancing the experience. TLDR: ne kadar güzeldi, biz kesinlikle buraya döneceğiz. read more

We recently hosted a graduation brunch party at My Cravingz Bakery and Cafe to celebrate two major milestones: our daughter graduating from college and our son finishing 6th grade (he deserved a celebration too--of course!). With over 50 guests attending, we knew it would be a big undertaking, but from the very beginning, Mr. Hamid reassured us that it could absolutely be done at our favorite brunch spot in Northern Virginia--and he delivered on every word. Mr. Hamid and our wonderful waitress, Alejandra, were not only kind and welcoming but also impressively attentive and responsive throughout our entire event. Every request or last-minute modification we had was handled smoothly and with a smile. And the food--wow! Every dish came out fresh, fast, and absolutely delicious. We had a lot of food, and it was all served promptly the moment we gave the green light. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the flavors. Alejandra even let us play a graduation song over the speakers so we could give our grads a special shout-out, which meant the world to us. I cannot recommend My Cravingz Bakery and Cafe enough. The service, the food, the ambiance--everything was simply outstanding. Huge thanks to the team for helping us create such a memorable and joyful celebration! read more

I've been coming to My Cravings about once a month for breakfast with my family, and overall the food is always really good--that's why we keep coming back. Today, though, the service wasn't great. Our server brought the wrong item, and after that it was hard to get her attention. We spent a lot of time trying to find her, which made the experience a bit frustrating. I still like this place and will probably continue coming, but I hope they can improve the service and be more attentive to customers. read more

Ah, how I love this place! Whenever I eat here, my taste buds do a little happy dance! My Cravingz is a great spot for family meals + casual catch-ups with friends and is home to delicious Turkish food, beverages, pastries, and a welcoming atmosphere. My latest favorite though is the saç tava which is very flavorful and all-around addicting! The desserts are also a must-try as well, especially the rice pudding, pistachio rolls, and chocolate baklavas. Inside the restaurant there is a lovely little shop area with home and gift items like Turkish coffee + tea cup sets, handmade wallets, evil eye decor, and more. This is a restaurant you need to try if you are in the DC metro area! First time here ever as well as all of our party of 6. We came for breakfast/brunch time frame and after such a great meal and service we all want to come back to try some of their lunch/dinner items. First off service was great! Our server and even those who helped clear and bring dishes were all extremely friendly and helpful! My parents were two in the party dining and lived for two years in Turkey and they loved chatting about where different servers who helped us were originally from in Turkey. Now onto the food: It was so good! We shared the large breakfast platter that included sweet and savory dips, summit bagels and bread, two egg dishes (tomato and sausage were the two we picked) zucchini pancakes and hot tea. Everything we tried was so good and flavorful and fresh! I personally loved more of the sweet dips but also the green dip. The zucchini fritters were fabulous and I loved the Turkish sausage in the eggs and the tomato egg dish was a standout. We also all got Turkish coffee as well as a dessert ring that was filled with some delicious cream and had Nutella drizzled on top. Inside there is plenty of room and even a to-go case with goodies to go. It got pretty packed in a Saturday morning which is not a surprise because it's so good. Great Turkish food and warm hospitality! read more
