Many options to choose from in the pastry case

Such a great tucked-away treasure! I needed to meet with a colleague, and the pictures online looked like there were plenty of seating options for us to go over our work. After parking around the corner and figuring out the correct sidewalk, I was amazed at how spacious Jirani is with plenty options for gathering, including outside tables, shared lobby spaces, and tucked-away booths in the back. Even though we chatted a while before ordering, no one pressured us to buy something in order to stay. I decided to try a hot chai with oat milk and a cinnamon scone. Both were quite delicious, and they even offered to warm the pastry for me. The chai had a lot of flavor and paired very well with the cinnamon. We ended up staying there for a couple hours, and the back booth was perfect to spread out for our planning session. I wouldn't hesitate to return here the next time I need to be in the area. It's perfect to grab a bite and get things done solo or with a group!

Cute coffee shop w/ art decor for sale and book room located in old town Manassas. Ordered the snickerdoodle latte iced and hott and tried their spring menu lavender latte. Supper yummy! Nice staff. Will def stop by here again.

Cute spot!! Always love going to Jirani for coffee and a sweet treat. The pastries and coffee are always great!! Service is always great. Everyone is always welcoming. Great spot to chill, work or relax

The coffee is great, the problem is theres a menu that's off to the side that you'd only see after ordering and paying, so you either need to get in line or stand there and wish you knew about their other offerings Service is incredibly slow and they def don't have the man power to keep up with customers. It took about 25 min to get my 3 drinks made from order to pick up.

The Service was fast and friendly. Lattes were strong and perfect for a windy afternoon. The cafe was warm and a bit dark inside:

The shop itself is really cute. They have this little library area with an acoustic guitar where you can lounge at. The ladies at the register were very helpful and patient with us when we were ordering. For drinks, we got iced latte w/ hazelnut, white mocha, and oat milk, iced coffee w/ caramel, and a Samoa latte sub coconut w/ oat milk. Coffee was reallyyyy good-- smooth and flavorful. I didn't think it was too sweet either. The food wasn't anything that really impressed me, but it was tasty.

Nice selection of sweets and the caramel latte and London fog we ordered were delicious, probably the best London fog I've ever had. The amount lavender was perfect! We also ordered a blonde brownie which was very good and an Oreo cookie mousse which was ok but would've been better if it was cold. Cozy ambiance with exposed brick walls, a stage for live music, and a library where they hold author signings or you can rent for meetings. It has a nice vibe.

Good coffee, very friendly staff and a great vibe to enjoy a cup of coffee. Located across the Manassas train station with lots of easy parking.

This was our final visit to The Omelette Cafe…read more The food itself was fine, but unfortunately everything else about the experience was bad enough that I will never return. I also do not want a response from the owner or management. I genuinely wish this small local business well, but I can no longer justify giving it another chance. During our previous visits, we already felt the value compared to the pricing was becoming questionable, but we wanted the restaurant to succeed. Today sealed the deal. When we arrived, only about 4 or 5 of the roughly 12 tables were occupied, with two waiters working the dining room. Most of the empty tables were dirty, many still covered with dishes from previous customers. The floor throughout the dining room was dirty and covered with debris. One waiter asked how many were in our party and directed us to a table. He sprayed and wiped only half the table with Windex. The other half, where the condiments were sitting, remained dirty. A few minutes after sitting down, I unfortunately put my finger directly into old sticky syrup that had clearly not been cleaned. The waiter took our order fairly quickly, but then poured cream directly into our coffees instead of letting us add it ourselves. Mine ended up with far too much cream. While waiting to use the restroom, I had a clear view into the kitchen area and noticed the kitchen floor appeared just as dirty as the dining room floor. What stood out most was that neither waiter seemed aware of or concerned about the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. There was no sense of urgency or attention to the condition of the dining room. After waiting several minutes for the men's restroom, one waiter told me to go ahead and use the women's restroom instead. The restroom itself seemed reasonably clean, but the paper towel dispenser was broken, and a loose roll of paper towels was sitting on top of the toilet, damp from previous use. When we were ready to leave, one waiter asked how the service was. At that point, I simply wanted to leave as quickly as possible, so I said it was fine. He then left the payment machine at the table for me to run my own card, and even the machine itself was damp and unclean. Overall, the entire restaurant felt sticky, dirty, and poorly maintained. The tables were not being properly cleaned, the floors were sticky throughout the restaurant, and the overall lack of cleanliness completely overshadowed the meal itself. I truly wish this business success, but after three visits, I will not be returning.

Second, the execution of some signature fried dishes lacked consistency; the famous Signature Fried Chicken could sometimes taste dry and tough, while the macaroni and other snacks failed to leave a particularly memorable impression. We all agree on 2 thumbs up across the board for decor and ambiance. It was giving industrial-NYC-Soho vibes. Quite impressive for Main Street Manassas. Timing was everything ... we were too early for the dinner crowd and just missed the lunch rush so the parking Gods were on our side ... we snagged a spot right in front of the restaurant. Stephen was a gracious server / bartender to our wee little party of 3. The beers were cold and the Cadillac Margarita was decent. The Rueben and bbq wings were raved about (especially the bbq sauce ... it was legendary)! Unfortunately, the salmon bites and the pork belly deviled egg appetizers were soooo salty and just not edible. Also $15 was diabolical for the portion size of the salmon bites. (Pic attached) I've paid that for a full bourbon glazed salmon meal with rice and veggies. Not a deal breaker. Would most def return to try other app / entree / summer cocktail options. Looking forward to hearing YOUR opinion. When you go, tell them you saw it on yelp.
