The Lemonade Bakery - Oceanfetti cupcake by the Lemonade bakery - Cupcakes Near Me - Manassas, Virginia

In 2024, I used Lemonade Bakery for my wedding cake. The price was insanely reasonable, especially since I made my brother pick up the cake instead of getting it delivered. The tasting in advance was so great. I loved that the appointment took place after the shop closed and that I could choose combo flavors in advance to try out to fit my theme. I went with a pumpkin cake with cinnamon frosting, naked icing with a fall theme. Not one slice went uneaten on my wedding day. A year later, I special ordered cupcakes for my anniversary in the same flavors, and had to coordinate with the baker to ensure the flavor combo was available. She was awesome and delivered exactly what I had hoped for. read more

I just had the best cinnamon roll from the Lemonade Bakery. I saw the a sign outside and thought if they had it one a sign I should try them out. It was classic cinnamon roll with lots of flavor and icing. Better than Cinnabon in my opinion. read more

I have been ordering Lemonade Bakery cakes for delivery for many years because one of our children had food allergies. Now that we no longer have allergies, we still order their cakes for special occasions because they are so delicious and so beautiful. They do outstanding themed decorating and have an edible printer for photos, logos, etc. Also delicious and beautifully decorated are their sugar cookies. Great customer service, too. read more

My son has severe allergies to peanuts, dairy, and eggs. It was a relief to find an allergen-free bakery that offers a variety of cakes. The cakes are delicious, although they are a bit too sweet for my taste. However, that's just my personal preference. The staff and service are excellent, and the bakery is clean and well-maintained. read more

We ordered 4 cupcakes: 3 at $2.50 each (vanilla (yellow cake) with vanilla frosting and vanilla with chocolate frosting) and 1 at $3 (butterscotch). The regular were really good. The butterscotch was a bit too sweet for my taste. We also got a cinnamon scone for $1.95 which was delicious - great texture and flavor. I wish we'd gotten more of these. Cute shop, prompt service, yummy pastries. Want to try cake pops next time. Will definitely return if in Manassas again. read more

What a great find in downtown historic Manassas!! They're located right next to The Crossroads Tavern. It is a small shop so no sitting areas. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Best part is they have Vegan cupcakes in the shop for less than $3/ea! I got a bunch of cookies and they are soft...but not too soft. Just perfect with perfect balance in flavors. I will definitely recommend this bakery and return often!! read more

I have been wanting to try this place for years ever since I first heard about it and finally had the chance to stop by. Hubby has a nut allergy so it was super heartwarming to see his eyes light up when we walked inside and he saw all of the baked goods that he was safe to eat. We got a bunch of goodies: cupcakes, ounce cookies, cinnamon rolls, and monkey bread. Our favorite has to be the classic chocolate chip cookies! I couldn't even tell the difference that it was made without eggs! As some others have mentioned, the cupcake icing was a bit too sweet for our taste. Hubby actually loves really sweet things but even the icing was on the too sweet side for him. But I know everyone has different tastes so others may prefer it this way! We'll definitely be back for the other goodies though! Thanks for catering to food allergies! read more

The train was late so I popped in this bakery to grab some coffee and sweets. It smelled like fresh baked yumminess when I walked in. It's a cute little place with a nice selection of treats in the display case. I bought a cinnamon roll, monkey bread, and a cup of coffee. The baked goods were tasty but the coffee was not. The cashier was nice enough. I will go back again to try the cupcakes, read more

Got some cookies, cupcake, and some scones. My favorite was the double chocolate chip cookie, pretty tasty. The rest were fine. The scone was also solid, just wish it was a bit more buttery and flakey. I also happened to try their brownie from the game tavern restaurant next door on a different day and really enjoyed it. read more

We have been coming to The Lemonade Bakery since it opened its storefront bakery 7 years ago. I absolutely love that we have a wonderful nut free bakery so close! Over the years, we have had most of their products and have never been disappointed. From getting desserts from what's available in the store to ordering custom cakes (several times), the desserts are delicious and safe for nut allergies. Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and more! Kelly the owner is very kind and sweet! I would highly recommend this bakery for both nut allergies and just to enjoy desserts even if you don't have allergies! read more

The place looks nice. It's small, but has some seating outside. I drove to Manassas on the weekend just to try this bakery as I'm in need of a cake, but wanted to check for taste before making any orders. Purchased multiple cupcakes of what they had available and took them home. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the flavor. The young ate them (they have sugar), but they all tasted old to me. Staff was nice enough, I guess. They answered a few questions I had, but I felt more like I was bothering them. I wouldn't come again, but I'm glad they cater to food allergies. read more

As a momma of a kiddo with severe peanut, tree-nut, and egg allergies, finding The Lemonade Bakery was an absolute WIN!! We went this morning and all of the ladies, plus the owner, were absolutely sweet. Not only did they offer samples to my son, but they also were kind when I started getting sniffly over being able to finally take my son to a bakery where his options were completely safe. Added bonus - the snickerdoodle cookies and the chocolate chocolate cupcakes were AMAZING!!!!! Thank you for offering the allergy kiddos of the world a place to feel like a normal kid - we appreciate you! read more

Allergy Friendly is so easy now! My kids did not know this was an allergy-friendly bakery the first time we went. We ordered a lot and tried a lot and everything was delicious, from cupcakes to cookies to cinnamon rolls and bars. I love that I can have each person pick out an item or two they would like, it feels so custom. I find the treats to be less sweet than a traditional bakery, which is a good thing. My daughter has a friend with food allergies, so I knew exactly where to go to pick up treats for her sleepover. The girls loved everything and it was a lot easier than trying to go to a grocery store and find allergy friendly sleepover snacks. It was nice to have a peace of mind that her friend would be safe and could enjoy all of the bakery items we selected. read more

I called prior to visiting this shop. They seemed friendly over the phone. When I arrived, I was met with poor customer service. They are not friendly and were very condescending when I asked questions. Not sure it's racial. Taking my business elsewhere. It's 2024. read more

Got a cake from here for a birthday : it looked pretty, but that was about it. we got the strawberry shortcake - soon as we cut the cake it started falling apart - the cake itself had absolutely no taste. The frosting well let's just say somebody was very heavy handed on the frosting and that too wasn't that great. The cake was very beautiful though. The cake was $40 : I would say , not worth it . But I heard the smaller bakery items are good so I guess I'll have to go try those out read more

Terrible customer service, worse attitude and unfriendly! Cookies were hard- not recommended.

Been a fan of the Lemonade Bakery since before it was an actual brick-and-mortar bakery! My dairy/egg allergic son has had his birthday cakes and treats from here since he was tiny. On a Saturday afternoon the case was half full. Smelled wonderfully of cinnamon. I wanted to support a local bakery, especially one that caters to food allergies. I asked if they ever had products geared toward type 1 diabetics for my daughter but I was told they already cater to allergies so can't alter products to deal with another food issue. Too bad. We had a freight cookie. It was beautiful in appearance. The sugar cookies base is very delicate. We took the cookies to go. They were drizzled with a nice caramel and chocolate drizzle over some kind of seasame seed butter frosting which was not my favorite. Very strong sun butter taste which is not exactly a savory tahini taste. In any case, fun to try. 2 cookies were 4$ plus tax which seemed reasonable for the speciality nature and presentation. They weren't huge but we only finished 1/2 Bc of the frosting. read more

An employee from work brought in a box of goodies from this bakery and it was all delicious

So disappointed, customer service is very poor...this place has ruined my daughter's 13th birthday. My husband put in an order, saw the invoice Sunday night which caused him to have questions...they are closed Monday and Tuesday so he couldn't get in touch anyone...they just automatically cancelled INSTEAD of reaching out to him. Due to food allergies we have always been limited. TOTALLY unprofessional!!!!! read more
