I got a custom wedding anniversary cake made and delivered from Artzy Bakery. I had a wonderful experience working with Beatriz. She was very communicative and sent me pictures of cakes to help me decide on a flavor and design. She was always accessible to answer questions over text. She was also very flexible and did a great job with the cake itself. And her prices are incredible for being a custom baker! I highly recommend her!!

Where is the 10 star button?!?! I contacted Bea in June to begin brainstorming ideas for our son's first birthday party (early July). She gave us some great ideas and was always very responsive. Like a savvy shopper, I contacted three other custom cake designers but decided to stick with Bea as the others were either significantly overpriced or unresponsive. I am oh so happy about my decision. After 2 cake tastings, we decided on three different flavors. 2 for the cake (Chocolate and Dulce de Leche) , another 1 for the smash cake (Pineapple). A few days before the big day, we got on a call to finalize the details for the cakes, cake pops and delivery to our party venue. What a hit! The cake arrived on time and was such a beautiful addition to the table and Bea made a stand for the cake pops (something I had actually forgotten all about!) our guests raved about how good the cake was and Baby Jon Paul thoroughly enjoyed his smash cake (as well as mom and dad hahaha). Don't fool yourself by going to those fancy cake designers that rave about being on TV... They usually lose their ability to connect to their customers and the professionalism goes out the window. We have found our cake designer!

My hubby ordered a Halloween/60th Birthday cake for my surprise party. Every one was blown away by the decorations. Beatrice sculpted a figurine that represents each member of my family....so adorable! The cake was so moist and delicious!

Bea is certified amazing! From the beginning she was warm and easy to communicate with via email. I attached some inspiration pictures and information and she brought it to life. Her cakes not only look amazing but they taste delicious. She allowed a tasting and all her flavors and choices were yummy. She listened to my every request and executed flawlessly for an event centerpiece that made a huge impression. She was very accommodating even when I requested cupcakes in addition to my cake days before my event. If I could give her 6 stars I would because she was right on time with delivery and priced it fairly and even went a step ahead by asking if she could help when she saw we were running a little behind in setup. Beautiful person, talented baker, and the best choice I could've made to take my event over the top.

Bea has made cake for my son's birthday twice now. Both times it was amazing! The most recent Zelda cake was outstanding! It looked exactly like I had asked. There were so many fine details and fondant decorations they all came out perfect! And it was so delicious! I had chocolate cake with buttercream filling. All the guests were raving how moist the cake is.

We hosted a cupcake decorating/Nailed It party for my 5 yr old who likes to bake. Bea was amazing! She provided all of the cupcakes for the kids to decorate and the birthday cake which was a large beautifully decorated cupcake. Bea was responsive, professional and very easy to work with. I had to provide her info to several parents as they were all amazed by the cake. I would give 10 stars if I could. Cake and cupcakes tasted delicious.

We have used Bea for our gender reveal Cake, for my baby shower, and also for a Friendsgiving cake. She is fantastic! We have gotten carrot cake twice and once vanilla cake with buttercream frosting (for the baby shower). All three times have been absolutely outstanding - I would highly recommend! Bea created my daughter's descendants themed birthday cake yesterday. And I am SO happy with the results! The cake itself was beautiful and the attention to detail was evident. But even more important was the taste and texture! Super moist and flavorful! One tier was chocolate with chocolate mouse filling and our guests were loving it. The top tier was vanilla with caramel which was also moist and not too sweet. I will definitely be giving Bea my business again. 100% satisfies with my experience with Artzy Custom Cakes. I did a lot of research and asked several cake companies in the area for quotes and Artzy has the best rates for the quality by far. Delivery was included and I paid very little for the value I received. Communication was a breeze, I got help with every question I had, and there were no issues or hiccups with anything. I was told by many of the guests at my engagement party that my cake looked like a $1000 cake! In reality I paid less than half of that for it. Highly recommend this company and I would definitely go back for any event in the future. Tip: I ordered for 95 people, had that many at my party, and still have lots of cake left over. About 1 tier left! So just plan ahead when it comes to that if you don't want lots of extra cake. read more

I wanted my husband's milestone birthday to be extra special, given we are in a pandemic and so couldn't do the party we normally would. I reached out to several specialty cake makers and no one responded. I am so glad that they didn't though - because then I found Artzy Custom Cakes and Bea! We could not have been happier with the look of the cake (sushi themed for a serious sushi lover) and were equally thrilled to discover that it tasted as good as it looked! Do not respond to cake making request in a timely manner. Do not change it's ingredient if you want them to do diary free or sugar free for your baby. Basically they will make you feel like they do not need your business. read more

I cannot begin to express how incredibly professional, responsive, and impressive Bea is! I contacted her a week before my husband's 30th birthday and in desperate hopes of getting a cake. Bea was absolutely amazing in helping me decide on the decoration, flavor, and overall look of the cake. She sent a picture of what I had envisioned, and she made an exact replica of the image - a stunning one! She even made cupcakes on my request as well! Every single guest was blown away by the fine detail and look of the cake as well as the delicious taste! My husband bakes himself, and he LOVED it! By far one of the best cakes. We had the dulce de leche cake and red velvet cupcakes, and I highly recommend both. However, given the taste of the flavors, I have no doubt all of Artzy Custom Cakes are just as delicious! Bea was great to work with. We got the star wars cake designed over e-mail with a picture that I provided, and she was able to accommodate a change in the size (add an extra tier) the week before delivery when I found out a lot more people were coming to the party than anticipated. She delivered the cake to the agreed upon location several minutes early, set it up, and was super nice. Will definitely be using her for my kids' subsequent birthdays and possibly other occasions! I ordered a cake from here for my goddaughters christening/ 1st birthday celebration last Saturday. I was looking for a bakery that would know how to make a awesome decoration on a cake. So I yelped bakeries in my area. Luckily this bakery pooped up and I went through he pictures and reviews! I also checked them on Facebook. I went ahead and sent them a message on Facebook. We got into details of the cake and pricing. (They also deliver) which is a plus!!! Everything was great! They have awesome customer service and communication through out the whole process. At end they sent me the pic of the cake. It turned better than the pic I sent them! They did a wonderful job! Everyone at the party was like amazed with the cake! The taste of the cake was different then what we usually get but great! I would definitely order from them again. Thanks so much! We loved the cake!!! read more

I wanted to give my husband a surprise superman theme bday party and wanted to get a superman cake. Bea made it so easy, she reply your email even late night which shows how hard she works. The cake was made amazing just what i wanted. When i walk in her home for pick up, the smell took my breath away. All my guest loved the cake. She made exactly how i wanted. My son who was turning 3 is obsessed with the solar system and when I finally decided to splurge on a cake I was so excited to see that beatrice had made one before and pics of it to see. She was so flexible with me even though I knew the cake was gong to be a lot of work. She was so easy to communicate with and really worked out the details that I requested on that cake, that I decided to get cookies made for the party as well. Hired Bea to create a custom cake for my husband's 60th birthday party. She was extremely responsive & very open to the Pinterest ideas I sent her, creating a cake exactly like what I requested! She solicited my opinion & also used pictures of my husband to make the figure look just like him! She delivered to our Tysons venue right on time and the guests LOVED it!! It was quite a highlight and focal point for the party, and then once we cut it, guests RAVED about how delicious it was. She made 1 part chocolate and 1 part carrot, and both were delightful. As Greeks, we know they're different items with different cooking methods and textures. The employee ended up getting him a gyro even though he wanted souvlaki. Not a huge deal, but it could definitely confuse customers who specifically want one or the other. Hopefully this is something management can clarify with newer staff going forward.

I am a terrible procrastinator about doing things writing reviews, which is why I wanted to write a review for Bea right away- it's so well deserved! Everything about working with Artzy custom cakes was wonderful! Bea is so accommodating, kind and helpful. She made exactly the cake I wanted, and it was an absolutely delicious cake (we got marble with raspberry mousse filling). She was also very patient with my indecisiveness on the design, and even did a custom filling at my suggestion, because I wanted to tone down the sweetness of the cake. In addition, she worked within my budget, and got the cake to us right on time. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful, and how tasty our cake was! Everything about getting my cake from Artzy was easy and exceeded expectations, which is a wonderful gift to someone who is planning a toddler's birthday party for the first time, and has lots of things to stress about already. :) Thank you Bea, for helping our daughter have such a wonderful birthday experience!!! read more

(thanks for your all your help). I was specifically looking for a square amaretto cake with white frosting. While some bakers advertised having this options on their websites, a lot of them ended up not offering them. Cakes by Linda was one of the few that actually did. And I tell you, she did an excellent job coming pretty close to what my wedding cake actually was. The frosting was sugary gritty sweet and not too sickeningly buttery like most buttercream frostings. While the cake was denser than what I had, it made it up for the right level moistness and the intense amaretto flavor the hubs had a taste for. It might even be safe to say that the amaretto flavor was more intense than our wedding cake. Linda did a great job and both my husband and I were impressed the great job she did. Very reasonably priced for what I got, and I'd highly recommend her for delicious special occasion cakes.

Pick up was for 9:30am and the first I hear from her is at 8:45am that she "had an emergency" yesterday and was unable to make my cake. I have never experienced anything so unprofessional in my life! Would strongly recommend against using this bakery!
