Unfortunately, this time didn't hit. My daughter liked them, but didn't love them -- and that's usually not the case with cupcakes. Her go-to move is eating the icing first, and even that got shut down. The frosting had a crusty texture instead of being soft and creamy. The cakes themselves were dry. I've never seen her ask for milk with cupcakes, let alone take a sip after every bite. That's when it hit me -- maybe the mistake was trusting the pre-order to be fresh. I probably would've been better off just picking 6 straight from the display case. Very disappointing, especially for a birthday treat. Not sure I'd recommend pre-ordering from here again.

Well...they had me at "cupcakes" :D I stopped in and the man who was working there welcomed me. He was patient as I looked over their offerings. She arrived on time for my pickup for an event the following day. I put the cupcakes in the fridge overnight. The following day the cupcakes were taken out of the fridge around 9:30 am and eaten around noon. I loved the cake itself as it was moist. The icing and cake were both flavorful, however, the icing was too soft. The texture was not what I am accustomed to and not sure if being in the fridge had something to do with it. Presentation wise the cupcake looked simple with sprinkles on top. It looked cupcakes you would find at the grocery store including the plastic packaging. I was surprised when I saw the cupcakes how small they were. I was expecting them to be bigger if they are normally valued at $30. Other bakeries may charge $3-$4 more for a dozen but they are considerably bigger. Also, if I go to other brick and mortar bakeries, for a comparable price I am able to choose different flavors whereas here I am limited to a dozen of the same flavor.

I had an exceptional experience with Rosa Bakes. From start to finish, the service was impeccable. Rosa was incredibly responsive, attentive, and made the entire process seamless. The cake was an absolute hit. It was beautifully made and delicious, enjoyed equally by vegans and those without dietary restrictions. Everyone loved it. I had not one regret supporting this woman owned small business and I am truly grateful I did. Rosa went above and beyond by including an extra treat, which was such a thoughtful touch. I look forward to supporting her again and I highly recommend Rosa Bakes for your next celebration or special event. read more

So I was in Seattle a few weeks ago and it feels like there is a vegan bakery on every corner. Being allergic to milk, it was the first time I'd really been able to eat deserts without a second thought. Now back on the east coast, I've been craving some good donuts and vegan bakery's are almost nonexistent out here. So when I found Rosa Bakes I was excited, and when I took my first bite and realized this was better than anything I'd had in Seattle, I was sold and will be ordering more! highly recommend this bakery! read more

I stopped by because I really wanted the Krispy Kreme knock-off. I did end up ordering this (no picture because I ate it before I could take a picture). I have mixed feelings about that donut--I think that I would have enjoyed it more if they HADN'T told me they were trying to make a krispy Kreme donut. The glaze was quite similar to Krispy Kreme donuts, but I was hoping for something with the lightness of a classic yeast donut. For me, that lightness is what making Krispy Kreme donuts so good, but this donut was much more similar to a cake donut. Dense, crunchy, though freshly fried. Not bad! But definitely not Krispy Kreme, which was what I thought I was getting. What I DID love, however, was their pop tart pastry. We got a berry poptart, and it was scrumptious!
