She was a pleasure to work with and delivered the cakes beautifully decorated and on time. We ended up getting the 8" cake with gold foil and real flowers. It was so beautiful and elegant. Once we cut into it, we saw that it was a carrot cake so we knew we were having a boy! The carrot cake itself was perfect. We've had many carrot cakes in the area and all agreed this was the best! It was moist and had a perfect frosting to cake ratio. The sweetness level was exactly what we were looking for- not too sweet. We also ordered a tray of baklava. It was crunchy, full of nuts, and not too sweet. It was $35 for the tray. Much more affordable than buying it by the piece at a bakery. Can't wait to try more of Fadia's treats. There are shelves of different tools, like skewers, piping bags and more. There's a frosting for every color and plenty of fondant for extra creativity. We were able to bring in food -- pizza for this occasion, and the staff were kind enough to serve it for us. For a birthday party that cost over $600, I expected the staff to be much more hands-on and engaged, especially with a group of 9- and 10-year-old girls. One employee did an okay job helping, but overall, the level of involvement was not what I expected. I also took several photos during the party where one of the designated team members was on her cell phone rather than interacting with or helping the girls. When you're paying this much for a hosted party, I don't think parents should feel like the staff leading it are disengaged. I also paid for the Ultimate Party Package, which was advertised as including smoothies, ice cream, and aprons for each girl. When we arrived, I was told they no longer make smoothies and that they hadn't figured out how to remove that option from their website. At that point we obviously switched to the regular party option. Finally, there is a mandatory 15% service gratuity automatically added to the party. I normally have no problem tipping for good service, but an automatic gratuity is frustrating when the service itself falls well below expectations. The girls still had fun decorating their cakes, which was the most important part, but for the price and the experience that was advertised, I expected significantly more. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing and did not feel worth the $600+ cost.
