These people are amazing!! I'v never seen a bed bug, let alone have one in my house! Apparently they can live for a while without a food source, and that's just what happened when we moved into a new house. (It turns out, the previous tenant had an issue but didn't tell anyone.) Within 3 months it was BAD! Not knowing any better, we called a regular 'exterminator.' The 'exterminator ' put some white powder under the mattress and told us that would take care of it. Had he lifted the box spring, he would have seen a total infestation! I moved that box-spring into the room, a few months ago, so I know there wasn't a single bug on it, yet he said we brought them with us. He assured us this white powder would 'fix' it. Not even close! Thankfully we did some research and found Heat Treat Services! They explained everything in detail, over the phone...then walked us through the process once they got here. They are very professional and know what they are doing! Several months later, and not a single bug, thank God! If you have bed bugs, don't mess around with anyone else....just call these guys! read more

They assessed my home and me three different options to treat my home and came out the next day promptly at the time stated. I spent a lot of time calling multiple pest control companies around town, and the thing I found that really sets Heat apart is their warranty. If a company isn't willing to stand behind their work for a long time, it says a lot about how effective they'll be. Heat offered the best warranty of any company I called by far (in some cases, up to 6x longer than their competitors). They also went above and beyond in talking me through the process and answering dozens of questions before I was even a customer. (Shoutout to Lenny for being so patient and taking SO MUCH time with me before the sale.) This was like a breath of fresh air after dealing with some of the other companies in town, who wanted to charge me $150 just to come out and write an estimate for the job. On top of all this, once I was ready to become a customer they were able to work me in very quickly, unlike competitors who wanted me to wait multiple weeks. With such great service and warranty I thought their prices would be higher, but I found them to be right in line with the other companies I called - if not a bit lower. Based on my bad experience with Heat Pest Services, it's absolutely astounding to me that they get such high Yelp and Google ratings. My suspicion is that tenting produces great outcomes and that this is the explanation. I have a high rise condo that was unsuitable for tenting. After Heat Pest Services finished their treatment, for which I paid $500, it was soon obvious that there were still bed bugs. Heat Pest Services' web site proclaims. "If there is ever a problem with our service, we make it right." I called several times explaining the problem and for further treatment, and after it became obvious that they were playing screw around with me, I had to hire another pest service (ABC Home & Commercial Services), and they got rid of the bed bugs, something that Heat Pest Services couldn't do. read more

He was able to schedule the treatment very quickly, too. Our technician, Nick Barber, was SOOO great! He was personable, knowledgeable and very helpful with questions and preparations for the treatment. He took care of us and I appreciate his attention to our needs and concerns. Nick is a professional through and through. I reserve the right to add a star...the treatment only happened 2 days ago, so I can't say if the treatment was 100% successful yet, but I am feeling pretty positive we have the problem taken care of. read more

This review is a little overdue...I apologize to Robert and his crew. I hired Heat Pest Services back in April for a serious infestation. Robert came to my home, did a thorough review, and gave me an estimate. He was prompt, courteous, and extremely thorough. Other companies came in, took a quick look around, and shot a number at me. Robert explained things as he went through my home. I live in a condo in downtown Houston, and he had to use electric heaters to treat the bugs. He came in at 10:30 AM, and did not leave until 12:30 AM the next morning. Yes, it was that bad, but he got the suckers! This may be the first time I'm giving a five star review to a business for doing "nothing". We thought we were having an unusual pest problem and called Heat. The dispatcher was polite and said she'd have someone out in a few hours. Great! Major storms moved through, delaying traffic a lot. Our technician, Lucas, called and kept us posted. When he arrived, it was obvious that he was kind, knowledgeable and thorough. He concluded that the problem was likely not in our home. He explained everything thoroughly and then was on his way. There is nothing fun about the bedbug experience. If you are unfortunate enough to get them, by all means use HEAT to just be done. The technicians are polite, informative, accommodating, patient, prompt and EFFECTIVE. They have the best warranty and the easiest prep. Robert Brown and his technician came in and got it done in several hours. No more bed bugs! It's all they do-and they do it well.
