A table with no water or service

Beautiful hotel conveniently located across from my Airbnb. Nice bar ,staff is friendly but service is horrible. This is my second time here and each time I've came in here mind you I'm visiting from New York, each time I come in here. I sit here and I wait about 20 minutes for someone to even recognize that I'm sitting here or waiting for either water or service or for someone to take my order. It's absolutely horrible. They don't pay attention at all . Edit: after I was noticed the service was excellent.

Lunch was pretty good here too. Reuben was warm and served with a lot of fries. The MN greens was a nice salad with cranberries, crisp apples, chicken breast and an in house raspberry vinaigrette.

This is a pretty basic hotel lobby restaurant. The food was "a-ok", meaning there was nothing I'd go back for. We got the charcuterie, which was a big disappointment, the watercress salad, the chicken wings and the flatbread. Everything was just ok. The flatbread was probably the best thing we tried, but nothing special really. The reason I'm giving them a 3 instead of a 2 star rating is because the service was great. Our waitress was attentive and sensed we weren't thrilled about the food so went above and beyond to make it up to us... with a free appetizer. That was really considerate and generous. Thank you for that.

I don't know where to start really. My experience began by waiting for 10 minutes to be sat, standing by the sign that read "please wait to be seated" I finally had to go to the front desk to ask if they were serving dinner in which I was told "of course!" I went back to the area I waited at and was finally seated in the bar area, which worked for me. I then waited another 10 minutes for my server and finally asked the hostess if I could get a glass of wine. She went into the kitchen and alas, 4 servers came right out, seemingly oblivious there were guests waiting to be served, at 6:30 pm! So, unfortunately it doesn't get much better...I ordered the braised short ribs, one of my favorite dishes. To my dismay this dish was completely overcooked and dried out. There was a small amount of Demi glaze, although I'm not sure there would ever be enough sauce to help this dish! Sadly, I sipped my wine, nibbled at my short ribs and got the check feeling disappointed. Oh well, at least I tried! On a positive note, my server was a cute, upbeat woman who did a nice job once my meal was ordered. I feel sorry for her that she has to work at a restaurant with sub par food!

Service was terrible, one of the female baristas tried to be smart-ass. They have signs about proudly serving Starbucks coffee but they don't take Starbucks app payments. Don't waste your money and time at this place, there are better places in Minneapolis.

Ordered the Banana Pancakes. They were fluffy and flavorful! I usually stay away from pancakes at restaurants since most of the time they drench it in oil but that wasn't the case here.

It's pretty standard for a hotel bar. The drinks are good. The food is two steps above a microwave dinner. The salad was fresh, and had vegetables on it beyond just iceberg lettuce (it was romaine). My lack of one star is from someone who lived in the land of lakes, and the bayou. Walleye is good, Po-Boys are good, the combination is set for divorce...

I stayed at the Hilton this weekend for INELDA's death doula group, and most of my meals were in the bar(same menu as the restaurant for the most part), I had the same server the whole time, Erik you were diligent and wonderful! I went to the bar last night for a dessert and nightcap and Alicia and Matt were my bartenders, Matt helped fashion me a custom drink which was really fun and nice(can't go wrong with saint Germaine), and Alicia was warm and kind and helped make my experience perfect. I also ordered the donut holes for dessert and they were the perfect amount of crispy and soft!

When I go to new cities, I typically seek out food that is specific to the region and thus a little more interesting to me. You can get a burger anywhere, and a cheese filled patty, aka a "Juicy Lucy", didn't sound like something I needed to try. But my husband kept talking about it and really seemed bent on having one so we decided to come here to try it out. We showed up during their happy hour, from 4-5pm, and they had $5 draft beers. Score! It's a cute place with ample seating, nice natural light from the large windows, and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Juicy Lucy, a burger patty stuffed with cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and pub sauce. I chose the Impossible patty version, but you can also get it with their house made black bean burger. Hubby chose the Garlic Girl, a black bean cheeseburger topped with bacon (also made in-house), berbere aioli, lettuce, and pickled onion. Each burger came with fries. Both burgers were spectacular and delicious in their own way. The bacon on hubby's burger was incredible, and his burger was rich and satisfying. By my Juicy Lucy, oh my... Every bite was a flavor explosion and intensely delicious without being a gut bomb shockingly. To top it off, the fries were super crispy and just perfect. WOW is all I can say. Note that while the prices may seem a little higher than what you might expect, Francis Burger is a no tipping establishment, as stated on their menu. For the quality of the food and the great service, it was well worth the price! I'll be back if I'm ever in this area again.f

Before we even got there, we could smell this place, a GREAT sign! The hostess was lovely and guided us to our seats right away! The first thing I noticed was the decor is slightly dark and moody! Perfect for a romantic date! Plenty of candles flickering on each table! The kitchen is open, so it was fun to watch! Our only complaint is that the tables are fairly close together and a 2 person table is so small! It kept us from ordering more food, because there would be no place for it to go! Our server was nice. She originally forgot our drinks but admitted it and got them right away. We appreciated the honesty. Our water glasses were always full, we were given wet naps after our delicious wings and plates were taken promptly! Food: We each started with a drink. I got the banana bread old fashioned which may just be my favorite cocktail! My boyfriend got a beer and said it was "ok." We started with the truffle fries and smoked wings in the flavor rum chili. Holy moly! Both of those were spectacular!!! The ranch was just ok, I would probably get the blue cheese next time. Truly though, you don't need to dip these wings, the flavors are amazing on their own!! For our main course, we got the 14oz New York strip steak cooked to a perfect medium and the scallops! Both were out of this world! Very well done! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! It is truly a gem in the cities!
