Food: Banchan and meats (bulgogi & spicy pork) were edible. I would rate them a D. We were hungry so it was fine. Banchans were all very sweet personally and while there were some unique takes such as the bbq bean sprouts everything overall tasted, 'off'. No traditional dipping sauces and I really don't know how to describe the bulgogi other than it felt and tasted like no other bulgogi I've ever eaten. Stoves seemed to heat unevenly. Service: Slight wait for a table, (4 ish on a Saturday) overall no problem as staff communicated and could tell they were busy bussing tables. Waiter was super friendly and upbeat. Attentive given the restaurant being a tad short staffed. Polite and friendly! Atmosphere: Space would certainly benefit from additional ventilation. Given that it's only bbq it gets smoky very fast. Game machines at entrance, good for kid entertainment/family friendly. Mostly non-Asians dining which makes sense given the area. Single stall bathrooms were clean and tidy. read more

Like others have said, I would not trust all the 5 start reviews of this place. Myself and 3 others ate here over the weekend. Overall, service was great until I could hear the owner reprimanding what seemed to be a new employee at a table behind us who was bussing tables. The owner proceeds to walk around and bark at the other employees as well. Very annoying and unprofessional. I will also say that they need better ventilation. Food: We got option B. For sides, the kimchi and the marinade on the spicy cucumber were good. The gyoza were pretty oily. For meats, we ordered bulgogi, brisket, and short rib. The bulgogi wasn't inedible, but compared to others I've had it sits at the bottom of the list. The brisket was what you'd expect. The short rib was actually pretty good. The problem was when you went to actually cook the stuff. The grill cooks unevenly, and only a small part of it gets hot. Ambiance/cleanliness: There were splotches of food on the wall. Our first grill had food still stuck between the grates, and started oozing when we turned the grill on. There isn't much ventilation in the place and our grill and the grills of the people sitting around us quickly filled the place with smoke, smoke that is stinking up my clothes like crazy. To not be all negative, the booths were roomy and the layout of the place was cool. Service: Holy moly guacamole... To preface, our server was nice and pretty quick. Another server also helped to look after us, and that was great. However, I felt terrible for them. What a guy the owner is. He was sitting at a table with what we assumed was some regulars, and spewing about his employees to them. They were working pretty hard running around, but he'd also stop them in their tracks just to make some non constructive and incredibly rude comment. He'd talk down to them, and it was just tragic to watch. This was nonstop while we were eating. I don't know what this guys problem was. I mean, one of our waiters brought me my rice with his finger resting in it, which is like waiter 101, but I honestly think it's just a lack of training. This owner guy said nothing useful to them the whole time and just incessantly tore them down. We paid and tried to leave, but the owner guy was blocking the door trying to scrape it or something. The employee helping him moved out of the way and bade us a good night, but the owner kept scraping the door, ignoring us entirely, so we had to squeeze behind him. Somebody save these employees. Also the five star reviews are for free ice cream. Down $70 :( read more

Meat was not fresh it was frozen creating very chewy meat me and my wife got the option B and the cuts werent all that great but i have to say we did really like the sides very generous and they are unlimited the space can be really smokey if alot of people are at the restaurant the vents dont seem to work that well read more
