I FINALLY tried this place. I don't really like to wait to eat and I had Monday off so I figured the way it wouldn't be that long. I ordered their eggs Benedict with filet mignon and boy it was delicious!! No wonder this place is so popular. It had a great ambience. Nice outdoor seating. Great service. This definitely will not be my last visit

Love the bubble waffle! Added ourselves to the waitlist on the way and when we arrived we had about a 20 min wait. Staff was pleasant and the bubble waffle was delicious! We also had the French toast and the loaded potato skillet. Indoor and outdoor seating available. We usually just ask for first available which also includes bar seating

Today we decided to give Teaspoon another try. Even on a Monday, we waited about 30 minutes to be seated -- definitely a sign it's a popular spot. This time, the food was delicious. I ordered the filet mignon eggs Benedict. It was very tasty, although the poached egg was slightly overcooked. My husband got the skillet and absolutely loved it. The real star of the show was the Dutch baby -- oh my gosh! That alone is worth coming back for. The service was great, and we sat on the patio, which was lovely. Overall, I'd give this place 4 stars. We'll definitely be back for the Dutch baby and to try a few different dishes next time.

Definitely not a place for vegans ! C'mon , can't you add at least 1 vegan meal ? I modified my avocado toast and it STILL had butter & the bread was meh . Ugh My chai latte with oat milk was good but way too sweet for me , it did have a master yummy foam top . My friend said her meal was good but lacked spice . Kinda bland . Service was good but nothing to rave about . Beautiful location & we were seated promptly.

What's Funny is they give you cloth napkins but , no teaspoons! The person bussing the tables brought one glass at a time to set up a table for four . Waiting almost 20 minutes for a table that was empty when we arrived! Restaurant was half empty. And at almost $5 a cup for regular coffee, I understand why and Please, bring me a Teaspoon without me having to ask.

It was a Thursday afternoon, and the restaurant was packed. We were a party of six on the waitlist, but we only waited about five minutes for our table. Since it was a work lunch, we were pleased to sit at a large corner table. However, the noise level inside was quite loud. The menu offered a variety of great choices, ensuring there was something for everyone, which I especially appreciated as a vegetarian. Our waiter, Tito, was fantastic! He was friendly, attentive, and had a wonderful laugh. The food was excellent, and I don't think there were any complaints from anyone in our group. We would all definitely return for brunch again!

While planning a day trip from Mesa to Tucson, I came across Teaspoon on a "Best Brunch in Tucson" list by Max Wingert via TucsonFoodie.com--and it definitely lived up to the hype. This place is clearly popular. When we arrived, there were quite a few parties waiting, but the overall wait time was only about 10-12 minutes, and we were seated promptly. The service was just as good as the food--our server was kind, helpful, and offered solid recommendations when we asked. As a proud chilaquiles enthusiast, I couldn't resist ordering the Chilaquiles con Pollo: crispy corn tortillas topped with shredded chicken, red sauce, Monterey Jack, crema, avocado, red onion, cilantro, and two sunny-side-up eggs. It was savory, spicy, and absolutely delicious--everything I look for in a good plate of chilaquiles. My boyfriend went with the Dutch Baby, a cast-iron German pancake served with apple, lemon, and local honey. It was beautifully done and full of flavor--though we had to wait a few minutes for it to cool down (cast iron stays hot!) Teaspoon is a cute little gem tucked into the Casa Adobes Plaza with cozy charm, great service, and a menu that's well worth the drive. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Tucson to explore more of what they have to offer!

Teaspoon is a breakfast n lunch bistro in town... I had a Benedict Eggs and Filets with veggies, avocado and potatoes plus ice tea!!! Very classic breakfast and it's busy place to have brunch... Everything came out smooth, fresh eggs and cooked right on and tasty delicious!!! Will recommend when you try to have a stable classic brunch bistro restaurant!!

Stopped by Teaspoon for brunch on a Tuesday with a friend on my way out of town. We didn't have a reservation, and even though the restaurant was pretty busy, were able to get a table with only a short wait time. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered the following: Oat milk latte Southwestern Skillet $15 Bubble waffle $13.5 Had to start with my go-to coffee order, an oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon powder. It was pretty solid. Then I chose the Southwestern skillet for my entree. It comes with bacon, black beans, pico de gallo, avocado, potato, roasted corn, jack cheese, and two eggs. I requested no bacon which they willingly accommodated. It was delicious and filling! My friend and I were both craving something sweet, so we also ordered the bubble waffle to share. It's a Hong Kong street waffle with strawberries and house English clotted cream. It was light, delicious, and not too sweet. The menu offers a nice variety--there's something for everyone!

It was ok. $18 for a breakfast sandwich with two pieces of overcooked burnt bacon. Hard pass. There was a lot of egg on the sandwich but it was so bland. I had to sprinkle salt for almost every bite. The burnt bacon should have helped but it didn't. Came with a friend. The area is cute. We sat outside.

One of my top 3 brunch spots in Tucson. Excellent food - I had the Country Chicken and nibbled off the Dutch Baby and a Southwestern skillet. The chicken, gravy, biscuit , egg, and side of potatoes was largely portioned and just so darn delicious. The skillet was flavorful and I like that the pico de gallo didn't overpower the taste or texture. My favorite however was the Dutch Baby... I can't describe it enough except to say it's a must get and you will not regret this sweetness on your table. I also was pleasantly surprised to be able to order a Vietnamese Coffee drip which is a hard find in Tucson at dining spots. Service was fantastic. Despite how busy they were, food was relatively quick in coming out. Indoor and outdoor seating. Tip: reserve ahead of time and get on the waitlist that you can access on their site. It gets busy and the waitlist option was convenient .

I was invited here by a friend, and what's great choice it was. Great food, and amazing service. The food was exceptional and though it was SO busy...we were treated like we were the only people there. All ingredients were fresh and the food was soooo good. Cannot wait to go back.

Food 5* Service 5* Ambiance 5* There. Covered it. This place is classy comfy delicious. Can't go wrong with anything you order there. The Bubble Waffle is outstanding. Everything I've ordered there has been outstanding. I've brought many friends to eat there and they all have raved about it. I enjoy eating outdoors. This is a "can't miss" place, so go! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

Hello! Yes, you can bring your dog! Fun fact: Not all restaurant patios have a permit. Our patio has a dog-friendly permit regulated by the Health Department.

Is this the sort of place where one can bring a laptop and work or just an "eat and leave " kind of place?

It's generally pretty busy, and limited seating. Perhaps on a weekday, but not a weekend.

The brisket was delicious, the sourdough was top tier, and the tomatoes, spinach, and gyure cheese all worked so well together with the sausage gravy on top...I was in heaven. It came topped with two perfectly poached eggs and the side potatoes were tremendous. Perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and starchy on the inside. We also got the Chilaquiles Verde and I was super impressed. The pork was incredibly moist and again they absolutely nailed the poached eggs. The green chile sauce had great flavor without being overly spicy, which I appreciated because I like flavor but not too much heat first thing in the morning. The tortilla strips stayed crispy the whole time and it came with a side of mixed fruit, which is always a winner in my book. Of course I couldn't pass up dessert. We tried the lemon blueberry lavender olive oil cake, which is gluten free. It was pretty crumbly (maybe due to being gf?) and I'm probably still 50/50 on lavender as a flavor, but overall it was pretty good. The coconut cream pie was the real standout for me though. Super creamy with great coconut flavor and the slice was huge! Our waiter did a pretty good job and even though the patio was fairly busy, it stayed comfortable because everything was shaded. There were a few flies hanging around, but that is kind of the tradeoff for sitting outside. The interior dining room looked really cute too, so maybe next time I'll try sitting inside. Overall, I liked it and there's a few more things on the menu I want to try so I'll definitely be back. It was a great little brunch spot.
