Ordered via DoorDash and drinks were already ready when I arrived. Very friendly and helpful staff, I will come back because of this. Clean, bright and nicely decorated store. I like that there are desserts options. Will come again!

I went to order seasonal drinks in this location and realized it's more expensive than the South Bay locations. I got the Ube Astra back in October with 50% sweetness. The foam and boba were overwhelmingly sweet. I recently came back for Pineapple Shine with Sparkling Water (extra $1 substitute). Very refreshing at 25% sweetness, yet the pineapple was more candied. The service was alright. It's usually a one-woman crew since fewer people sit inside. More focused on takeouts. Parking spaces are tight, like a Slim Jim. You might have to shimmy a bit, like Shakira, to open your car door.

Nice little spot in Newark in the same area Bonchon and other nice food places. The place is nice and clean. Great place to hangout and they have a bathroom. Service was fast and as always the drink menu has a great selection. Decent price point for the drinks they offer. There are snacks that you could try with your drinks. There is a karaoke night on Thursday starting 6-8:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday 6-9:30 pm. Great place to chill with friends and hangout.

First time having Teaspoon and I'm not mad!! Thank you to my bro for making the drive out here and put me on game. Staff is nice, prompt and the drinks are good. That says a lot coming from a person who many not be a boba connoisseur but i am a picky a** person. LMAO!!! Purchases made: Ladybug Strawberry Colada Smoothie Matcha Royale + Boba Drinks were not overloaded with ice, the requested adjustments were made as ordered, flavors are delicious. 5 stars, I'm a fan. I feel like I'm missing something. I see teaspoons everywhere n they seem to have good reviews but we didn't like either of the ones we got. We must be doing something wrong. We self ordered and got our drinks within a few minutes so they're efficient n it looked clean. Parking in The plaza was easy. Some tables n games to sit around if you're feeling it. Not much to complain about other than the mediocre drinks. Might try it again if I know someone that can recommend something good.

Every time we come here, the service is great. They always ask if I need a bag when they see it might be too much to carry. They also acknowledge you when you come in. If they're busy, someone at least says hi to you instead of ignoring you. The parking lot has plenty spots. The place is pretty well cleaned every time we go. There are a few tables if you want to just hang out for a little. I've even seen some people go and do some work there. We are obsessed with the Grasshopper. So far, we've tried other flavors too and so far we haven't found one we didn't like. This is our new go-to for boba in the area. So happy they're here.

Teaspoon opened recently in Gong cha's space. Obviously redecorated with a soft, whimsical sign & mural. Just 8ish tables inside for seating. Hip hop music in background. T is an American boba shop making unique boba and tea creations. No "me too" menu. Toppings are on the front counter. They use bobas created in California. Drinks made in plain sight, not behind curtains or a door. Offerings: Signature (boba) drinks, hot teas with unique profiles. Ordered at counter, pd, drink ready in minutes. No other patrons present. Sips: Liquid Gold (6.50) 24 oz. 25%sugar, reg. Ice -sweetness/ice just right. Honey slightly subtle. -none of the ice, honey, tea, cream or sugar overpowered each other. Subtle Tea felt but not tastable. Better than bland versions at other boba shops. 4ish stars Note: very active parking lot. Watch for cars when backing out to space or when walking...

Teaspoon has recently open its new location at Newark. It's quite surprising that they seemingly don't get a lot of customers. It could be because I got here during the afternoon during the weekday. This location will catch up. They have mini arcades you can play. They also classics as well as their own signature drinks. It's quiet here and it's only one person working here, but the service is quick. They also serve desserts too, which are displayed close to the menu, but they seem to be kinda pricey. I'm glad that it's close to Breeze Cafe and Lac Coffee since I also like going to those places too. Looking forward to trying more!

We went to Teaspoon in Newark recently and it was pretty good. I opted to order the Creme Brulee Coffee with crystal boba and less ice and my friend got the double matcha with no toppings. Teaspoon is located in a newish strip mall, and parking was readily available. We stopped by on a Friday afternoon, and it was fairly empty except for 1 small group that appeared to be there together and working remotely. The Creme Brulee Coffee was delicious and not overly sweet, with a good amount of boba. My friend enjoyed her double matcha drink too. I will say the smaller boba cups were just right, and I liked the number of drink options available on the menu. Customer service was prompt and very friendly. The interior of the shop is nice, with some cute decor, although seating is limited. They have a few tables and chairs good for groups of 4 or less, and 2 casual arm chairs in one corner. Overall, we were happy with our drinks and satisfied with the customer service. Teaspoon in Newark is worth visiting if you're nearby or visiting Fremont. Otherwise, I wouldn't go out of the way for this particular boba shop. Teaspoon also has multiple boba shops across the Bay Area. Definitely a solid boba spot!

Tried Teaspoon for the first time and went with their Caramel Cream Boba and a slice of coffee cake. Both turned out to be excellent choices. The coffee cake was soft, flavorful, and disappeared almost instantly -- I only managed one bite before my son finished the rest. The caramel cream boba was very sweet at first and felt a bit heavy after a while, but adding a splash of whole milk at home balanced the flavors perfectly, turning it into a rich and creamy drink. Overall, Teaspoon delivered a great sweet treat experience, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a satisfying boba drink and a delicious dessert.

Been to this plaza a few times but didn't realize they had Teaspoon here! The closest one to me is up north in Hayward or trek down to Warm Springs - so glad there's a Teaspoon in Newark too. We came by on a weekend and got our drinks ordered right away. There drinks were made quickly by the one staff behind the counter. Caffeine free options: Silky mango (milk with mango puree and honey boba) was delicious. The Strawberry Colada (pineapple coconut smoothie with strawberry jam) is refreshing. I got a coconut coffee which is perfect sweet for me! This place is spacious and clean, with AC - perfect hangout for a summer day.

I came to check out the new location and it was very pretty inside! There are some seats and free wifi available so I imagine it is a nice place to study/get work done. Staff is very friendly and made my drink fast. I like how they had the hot drinks menu out since it is getting chilly outside now. Minus one star because I wish the boba serving was bigger! I've been to many boba spots and it seems like they skimped out on the boba portion.

Came in with a large group during labor day weekend after hearing there's a new teaspoon location! I always get the silky mango which never fails but I wanted something less artificial and went with a simple milk tea this time. I got the liquid gold 50% sweet because that's usually the perfect amount for me at other tea shops, but I guess I learned my lesson not to order that here. The drink turned out super bland! It lacked tea flavor and sugar to enhance said tea flavor. I also tried a plethora of other drinks from my group and none of them blew me away. They were all very okay, and most drinks were bland as well. Was really disappointed by this specific visit and location. We all ordered on a kiosk but you can also order up front at the register. It took around 20 minutes for everyone in my group to get their drinks (around 10 of us) Props to them for handling such a large order in a decent amount of time! Place is very spacious and looks much tidier than the previous gong cha. Workers were very welcoming too.

This may be my first time coming during a soft opening. We got to try samples of their red velvet cake, taro milk tea and strawberry sangria. I'm a milk tea girly but that sangria fruit tea had me rethinking for future occasions. I may get it next time! It was light, refreshing and a perfect balance of sweetness and tea flavor. Congrats on the upgraded mini remodel from the raggedy seats that Gong Cha had, who previously occupied this space. Staff was super nice. The girl who took our order said they'll remake our drinks if we weren't satisfied or if they don't taste like their other locations. They gave us a free taro milk tea boba because they made an extra by accident :) PS I was rather impressed that they stored the pickup drinks in a fridge until the person came for his/her order, rather than just leaving them on the counter. read more

This location just opened so I wanted to give it a try. I placed my drink order online which was a honey oolong tea with the classic lactose free creamer and boba as a topping. I was pleased to see samples on the counter. The service was also very friendly. However, when my drink came out I was disappointed to see that the drink looked almost white, like milk. I didn't lose hope and expected the drink to be better in taste than looks. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The drink tasted like watered down creamer and I couldn't taste any tea at all. I even put in the notes "light creamer." It seemed like this was all creamer. I would give the drink a 1/5 but everything besides the drink was pleasant. read more

Brown sugar milk tea was good not great. I think they put too much milk on top. It was really good before I mixed it up. Once I was half way done it just tasted like drinking milk out of the fridge at home. I would go back but only because of proximity to our house. I would tell them lighter on the milk or heavier on the brown sugar. Store front is clean and the ambiance is like any other boba spot. The staff were super nice and helpful. Of the 60 boba spots in Newark, it's middle of the pack. There's better options. read more

Walking into this location your greeted with warm welcomes and smiles. The store was super clean! Looking at the menu there was so many options to choose from. In the picture posted me and my family got the Guava Sunset, Ladybug, and the Silky Mango. And Ohhh man let me tell you the drinks were made to perfection! Stopped by on my way to a friends house on a super hot day. Everything on the menu looked so pretty, so it was hard to choice but I got the Flamingo which was super refreshing and yummy with passionfruit seeds. finally a new location closer to me!! the owner(?) let me know about their grand opening on saturday 9/7 where i believe they are having a deal on their drinks and a raffle so make sure to come out this location had some samples of their drinks available, not sure if it was just due to their soft opening, but i hadn't seen it at other bay area locations before. it was a nice way for me to be able to try new drinks i ordered my current favorite, their genmaicha green tea w/ boba at 75% sweet. the drink turned out perfectly so it was very satisfying if you like a roasted kind of tea flavor. 10/10 other drinks i'd recommend are: silky mango, silky strawberry, and creamy jasmine! read more

This location recently had their soft opening and I happened to stop by on the first day! I really liked the atmosphere of the shop -- chill and clean. The workers are very nice and I was given a card with a barcode that can get you 3 dollars off your 1st and 2nd(?) online order so that's definitely something I will do. The selection of drinks are great that it was hard to choose exactly what I wanted. The service is quick and the quality of the drinks were top notch. The second I walked in I was kindly greeted by the staff. They offered me some drink and snack samples and gave me some menu recommendations. I ordered the guava sunset and it quickly became my favorite drink as it was very refreshing. As I was waiting for my drink the baristas asked about my day which I appreciated. The space was clean and there was a beautiful mural on the wall which was great for pictures. read more

Throughout my time there, lots of customers came through, but I received my drink relatively quickly. As for the drink itself, the house mocha was okay, but I'm glad that I was able to try the Hojicha cream! The mocha + Hojicha cream was an interesting combination, but I think I would try their Hojicha Latte the next time I go. They have matcha, Hojicha, and seasonal offerings as well (like their banana cream!). There is a single bathroom (with code), WiFi (spotty sometimes but I was still able to get what I needed done), and a decent amount of seating (depending on time you go) with available outlets. I worked there from 12 to almost closing, and was able to get the table near the window + an outlet! I was truly sat. It isn't exactly my personal go to style of coffee, but that's purely a taste preference and not a knock on quality or execution. The grapefruit and tea drink itself was very refreshing. Sweetness was good. Something about the crushed ice made it better. I honestly don't think this drink would be the same with the regular cubed large ice. The crushed ice was also mixed in with the grapefruit pulp at the top too. I like that addition of the grapefruit because of it's natural flavor and that texture from it. Grapefruit can be slightly bitter, but I actually like it that subtle bitterness with the sweetness and tartness in it. The green tea is a good option to have with think drink because it's very light and doesn't overpower the remainder of the drink. Sweetness was good for me. Definitely more of a passing drink than the drink option that I chose today. Menu: Good enough variety Again, looks to be your standard boba shop menu. There are a fair amount of items on their menu for you to choose from though. Perhaps their fruit teas would have been the better option for me here. All their teas are not sweet and probably why the lowest sweetness they have is 30 percent. Prices are reasonable. A new favorite in the area.

The service was excellent--the staff was polite, friendly, and very accommodating. I highly recommend La Michoacana if you're looking for a quick snack or top-notch ice cream. Had a great experience at Teaspoon in Newark! The mango drink was incredible--honestly, better than most lassis I've tried. The guava drink was super tasty too, and the brown sugar Assam tea was just the pick-me-up I needed. The taro drink was delicious as well. The staff were really attentive, making sure everything was just right. Plus, the place is really clean and has a great vibe. Definitely recommend checking it out! read more
