The first 1-2 times this happened, I thought they actually discontinued the drink until one day I walked in the store and asked an employee about it. My friend's drink (dragonfruit tea) is also often unavailable. Today I stopped by and again, there is no kiwi green tea. This is a failure on the store's inventory planner. There are several boba drink places that serve food. What makes Feng Cha Teahouse different from other places that serve food is the milk foam cakes. I could be wrong, but I don't see milk foam cakes sold at other boba places. The milk foam cake served at Feng Cha Teahouse is light and airy. This location of Feng Cha Teahouse is located in Westlake Lido Faire Shopping Center. There is plenty of shared parking in this lot. The service used to be so much better - I think most, if not all of the employees are new because I do not see any of the old employees working anymore and now there are no greetings and most, if not all of the employees look like they do not want to be there. This is a nice spot to catch up with friends, get some work done, or just to sit and enjoy a boba, but sometimes just the poor service does not make me want to come back. Also, the drinks are not made consistently anymore - they do not seem happy if you let them know and they have to remake it. Usually, I do not have any major complaints about the service besides of what I listed above, but on my last visit, I felt like the service was very poor. There was a short line to use the single kiosk to order and they stopped talking orders at the front counter (with a sign that says so). I waited patiently in line and the line slowly was building up behind me and I guess the employee decided to take orders at the front counter and started to take orders of the customers behind me. i've been here a few times for their dirty boba - which is pretty good but...I came here today with my family because it was around the corner. Few things about today's experience: 1. Theres so much ice in all drinks (unless they noted less) 2. There was a fly in my sister's drink. She ordered the Kiwi Basil green tea and we didn't notice until we came home that there was a fly in the drink. The top is sealed (except for where the straw is) - so it couldn't have flown into the drink. I don't think I'll be visiting this location anymore. Love the little sugar bits from the torched cream. Boba pearls are warm, sugary, and perfectly chewy. I will say that they can be a bit inconsistent in terms of sugar levels. My 50% sweet dirty boba was sweeter than my friend's (her's mostly tasted like milk). Their dirty taro drink is good too (complete catfish though) and I loved the addition of fresh taro.
