Truewin Tea Shoppe is very welcoming; very wholesome and good vibes. Their staff is very sweet and kind; takes their time to explain the ingredients in the drinks and what they recommend. When ordering, you can place an order at the kiosk or at the counter. Their menu has a nice variety, drinks are reasonably priced and delicious. Desserts are a lovely treat! Would highly recommended. As this location is somewhat small, seated is available indoors but it's very limited and can fill up quickly. Very clean, cozy and good spot to hang over and catch up over a milk tea!
I wasn't able to get a picture of all the 50 drinks that we got since my family was too excited. Yes 5-0 lol Jasmine tea, milk tea with Boba, mango saga, fruit teas were all a big hit with everyone. Order ahead, which saved us a lot of time. Drinks were great! Boba was cooked to perfection. Can't wait to come back.
I got the Matcha Cream Lucky Jasmine drink and I really like that it had a strong jasmine taste with a nice hint of matcha. I also got the Strawberry and Matcha Soufflé Pancakes and they were both delicious. The Matcha Soufflé Pancake was definitely my favorite since I really love how it has a strong matcha taste. There's a fews chairs and tables inside and staff was efficient
Door dashed for pickup a couple drinks and a souffle. Drinks were ready on pick up. Drinks were flavorful. Got a lychee tea my fiancee liked. Their 50% sweet tasted like 75% from other places but flavors were on point even for her Da Hong Pao tea. Got a matcha souffle which was so fluffy with the matcha filling enough to satisfy a matcha craving. Got a free bag too to keep the drinks cool!
Ordered Online for Pickup! Advertisement of drinks and desserts don't taste as good as it looks. Mango Sago Pomelo King with Boba was very watered down and had no taste. Would not recommend it. Black Sesame Matcha and Shizuoka Matcha Latte, there was BARELY any matcha taste. Would not recommend it as well. Their Soufflé Pancakes looks delicious, but they the cake taste like a sponge cake and very dry. Not like your traditional Japanese soft and fluffy bouncy soufflé pancake. Wouldn't come back again, unfortunately. Wasn't worth the money.
When I first came here a year ago, I gave it 5 stars and have been coming back every time I'm in the area. But my latest visit was so disappointing that I won't be coming back again. They no longer allow customers to use the bathroom or the wifi, and the ratio of boba in my drink was way too little. Normally I could overlook a one time boba ratio issue but all of these issues together make it seem like they're being deliberately stingy. Guess it's time to find a new favorite place. Edit: They've replied saying the bathroom is temporarily out of order but there was a very permanent looking plaque that said the bathroom was for employees only + when I asked the staff if I could use the bathroom they did not say it was out of order - they said it was employee only and that it was a recent change.
In town for a short vacay. After a long trail walk on a very warm day, we were ready for refreshing drinks. We decided to give Truewin a try since it was close and had good Yelp ratings. The interior was clean and the display was catchy. Their pricing is lower than other shops I have frequented. They also offer a Senior discount if ordered in person. The employee who was working did not have good customer service skills. She immediately directed me to the self serve kiosk. When I asked her if I can apply the discount there, she gave me a displeased look, flipped the tablet toward her, and said I'll help you here. I wished the menu included a description of each drink's ingredients. When I asked the employee, she seemed annoyed and answered so quickly that I had to request her to repeat what she said several times. Each time, she became more impatient. I opted for the lychee with tea jelly. I've had different types of jelly, yet never tried tea jelly. It had a good, strong tea flavor. Unfortunately, the drink itself was watery and I could barely taste the lychee. My son opted for the Lucky Jasmine milk tea and also said his drink tasted watered down. My friend who is not particular did not really care for her King mango pomelo either. Even though I didn't receive courteous service and our drinks were just mid, I still left a nominal tip. I worked in the service industry throughout HS and college and tips were always helpful. There's an old adage - "You get what you pay for". And in this case, we did, receiving average service and average product. Next time we are in town, we will try elsewhere, with the hope of better service and better tasting tea.
Truewin reminds me of one of the tea shops in Shenzhen, China for the aesthetically appealing cup cover designs. Some say Truewin is similar to TP Tea for its fruity tea drinks and milk tea's. My daughter & I wanted a casual sit down place to plan our Tokyo trip for this summer & to our surprise there were a few seats available. Besides not having an issue with seating, it was fun to see kids playing with the claw games & coming back a winner while we sat enjoying our drinks. Orders: Iron Goddess Milk Tea-an Oolong tea that encompasses a floral, fruity profile w/a nutty undertone was a satisfying drink & a popular to order. This tea did not disappoint. Crème Peach Green Tea had a peach flavor w/pieces of peach. Since my daughter & I both like green tea, this combination perfectly suited our taste buds. The creamy element was salted & took my daughter by surprise, but if you like the sweet & salty combination you should give this a try. Spicy Popcorn Chicken was so crisp, spicy & so fragrant for a light snack. This was perfect for 2 people to enjoy before dinner. I noticed this isn't shown on their website so it is a in person kiosk order. The soufflés on the other hand are shown on this website. I'll have to try the strawberry soufflé on my next visit. Looking forward to coming back!
Absolutely love this place, I happened to stumble upon it when I was using the park and ride down the street. The workers are friendly and accommodating. It has a medium to large size space that has about 3-4 tables with wooden lounge chairs. They have a self serve kiosk for quick ordering. Depending on when you go, they have random deals for drinks. On a random day, I was able to get bogo 50%. The cups have a nice design and changed occasionally. My typical order is the four season with cream, I enjoy the authentic tea flavor. The tea has a high pure and high quality taste. My wife orders the da hong pao MT, absolutely delicious too. They have a variety of drinks if you are looking for more dessert style or tea, they have it all. They offer dessert and food too. Overall, I'm so happy to have this tea shop in this location. It rivals other top tea shops in the bay!
Their calamari is the BEST calamari I've ever had at a milk tea shop!! Each piece was perfectly coated with seasoning that was the perfect spice level, it was a good mix of legs/rings, and it was perfectly cooked, not rubbery at all! I would go out of my way to come here just for that calamari. It was so delicious!! I also tried their original/cream flavor soufflé and it was super yummy. The cake was light and airy and not too sweet while the cream was more decadent and a tiny bit sweeter. It created the perfect balance in each bite! We replaced the tea jelly in our drinks with qq noodle and it was really delicious. There was a strong tea flavor and the lychee didn't taste overwhelmingly artificial. The staff were all super kind and there was ample seating inside! They also had these really cute claw machines! I'd definitely return.
Their soufflé pancake sandwich pastries are a good snack or dessert, and it isn't too sweet - just like how I like my desserts. I chose the strawberry flavor and like how they have some fresh strawberry slices atop their flavored stawberry whipped cream filling. The soufle pancake had a nice texture and bounce, like angel food or sponge cake. I chose the savory black sesame matcha latte drink to pair with this. It was good mix of salted ground sesame seed flavor with the matcha flavor in the frothy latte. Like most boba tea drink shops, they have a membership rewards program that you can join using your phone number. Currently there's a special for $2 off certain drinks and 5% discount on your first order if you sign up. Inside setup: This venue has 2 electronic ordering kiosks at the front, with a few coffeetable seatings inside. There's also a few plushie claw vending machines if you want to try your luck at nabbing a prize. In the back, there's a secluded seating for 2 with a cool futurist silver character statue that reminded me of artist, Jeff Koons' balloon animal sculpture pieces. Service: prompt and efficient. My order number was called out within a couple minutes after ordering.
The environment is comfortable and clean, and the service is very good. The drink prices are very reasonable. The overall atmosphere feels like something young people would enjoy. I ordered the popcorn chicken today and it was quite tasty. We tried their mango pomelo, bobochacha drinks, both are non caffeinated and very refreshing desserts drink. We got 25% sugar and that was the perfect sweetness if you're looking for a mildly sweet level. The ube and matcha souffle pancake are the perfect fluffy cloud texture, the cream in the middle was cherry on top, flavor was on point and not too sweet, doesn't taste artificial at all. Overall service was quick, and the tea shop has a clean modern vibe, perfect for afternoon tea hangout. read more

This is right next to Tasty pot. Kinda tucked away. Inside design is nice, clean and roomy. Order at the kiosk. Came on Friday at lunch. Ordered 2 soufflé and 2 drinks. The drink was 50% sugar but still was too sweet. I would recommend ordering less than 50% if you don't like it too sweet. read more

In ABGs we trust. The place was overrun with them and their friend-zoned admirers. Had this place bookmarked for a while and finally stopped in for a grapefruit green tea with Iron Goddess tea jelly. Excellent! While there is no shortage of tea shops in the area, Truewin is stronger than many of its competitors. Soufflé pancakes ($10 each) are also available Worth checking out and looking forward to a return visit. read more
Really decent spot to grab milk tea! The menu is pretty extensive with a lot of options. But after a big dinner at Tastypot next door? Decided to just try the Iron Goddess Milk Tea. This had a heavy milk ratio, but the tea was still quite fragrant! A mild oolong milk tea. Not bad! I'd order it again :) There's a few claw machines inside, which have generic plushies. You can trade them in for bigger prizes like Labubus or Pokemon cards. Also a few table arrangements inside for lounging. Clean store! read more

I was having dinner in the area and I stopped by here because I wanted a Boba before the drive home. I am so glad I did because I found my dessert and Boba drink here. . I actually tried their mixed fruit tea and I really like how it is aesthetic pleasing with the presentation with different layers of colors and fresh fruits from Boba to fresh strawberries to fresh orange slices which looks really nice. Also the Boba is really fresh and it was chewy and it has really nice sweet flavor to it. . I had to try their matcha black sesame drink with milk and it was so good and it was so pleasing with the layer and it was so pretty. I also added some boba in it because I love chewing the topping. . I also got to try the Ube flavor and the original flavor. I wish the souffle was hot otherwise it would have been perfect. The cream isn't too sweet and the strawberry one was my favorite. The Ube had a really nice coconut flavor and some Oreo dusting to it. It was the perfect bite to end the night with a wonderful dessert. . Overall the service was really great and informative and great suggestion. The parking is really easy and plenty. I love how there is claw machines for the ambience and it was so much fun testing my luck. I will come back here and get another Boba drink and try out the other menu items. Got the set of 4 since we had 4 people in our group and it was more than enough. We actually weren't able to finish it because it was so much. They're extremely generous with the breading and cream. I think my favorite from the 4 would be the ube. Second would be strawberry. Third would be matcha. Fourth would be the coffee. The coffee flavor isn't that strong. We all got drinks as well and they tasted great. Our friend didn't like the drink she got and the workers were kind enough to remake a different drink for her. We all left satisfied! read more

How cool is this new semi-newly boba spot located conveniently right next to my fave hot pot spot! So my cousin and I decided to check it out for dessert after dinner. they have changed vendors for this store front so many times. I do not remember who owned it before. Truewin Tea makes delish boba drinks and also has the soufflé sandwiches. They ran out of few of the flavors so we ended up getting the ube and pistachio match flavor. They were delish. We had a hard time deciding so the staff was friendly enough to help us decide. They are friendly and will help answer all of your questions with ease. nice seating area for guests with great food/drinks. I enjoyed my visit with Truewin and cant wait to be back for some more treats soon! read more
Order via kiosk. I wanted the little accessory on top, so I asked which ones come with it. Unfortunately I didn't see any sign or note about it so I was worried that I made the wrong order. Apparently only da hong Lao comes with it. I do like that they had at least 3 different designs. It's random but I liked all 3 anyway. It was thoughtful of them to call my number first before they proceeded with the dry ice - gotta make sure the camera is ready! The drink itself was fine, but not super memorable. Came on a Saturday night, was a little busy and had limited seating, which was fine because I was getting it to go. There were some claw and arcade machines, so if you're into that you could play something. Could be a casual hangout spot for you and your friends. I got the strawberry soufflé and iron goddess milk tea. The soufflé was not as pillowy soft as I thought it would be (probably because it was sitting out for a while?) but the cream filling was sweet and decadent, and there was a good amount of it. The milk tea was good, can compete with a lot of other boba spots in Fremont. I wish there was more seating, but otherwise a nice place to grab boba and chill. read more
This has quickly become one of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area. The order kiosk has more options than what's shown on the menu. I'm not sure if they're seasonal, but I appreciate the wider selection. I've liked all the drinks I've tried so far. The Orange Green Tea with Aiyu Jelly was refreshing. The Passionfruit Green Tea was perfectly sweet and tart. The Lychee Oolong with Tea Jelly was a nice combination of a stronger tea and a stronger fruit flavor. The boba was consistently soft and chewy for all of my visits. I also enjoyed the soufflé pancakes. The strawberry, ube, and matcha flavors were all yummy, and the pancakes were light and fluffy. There were a few tables for hanging out and enjoying your drinks/desserts. They also have a claw machine with cute plushies that added a fun touch. read more
let's just say, i am amazed with all the drinks and food i had here. the service was great, they have a kiosk and also register to order! main thing they sell are drinks and the soufflé. i love the cream that they would have as a filling. i really enjoyed the strawberry and chocolate. the matcha came out a bit bitter but that's how i know its high quality and i didn't really like the roasted pistachios on top of it. Now for the drinks, the mango sago green tea is my number 1! i'm such a huge fan of mango and they killed this drink!! you can change the sweetness of the drinks and they almost tasted like a dessert honestly. They also have seating areas and one in the back tucked away for any work you need to get done. read more

Got a lychee oolong tea with tea jelly and a cream strawberry green tea slush. Wasn't a huge fan of either (tea jelly wasn't sweet enough for me) but the service was fast and the tea tasted pure so I'd give it another go and try different drinks next time. read more

I love their teas and I am a repeat customer. May favorites are the Cream Peach Green Tea and the Cream Grape Green Tea. The only thing that needs a lot of improvement is the service. The kiosk is the only way to order. And because the menu is huge, people take forever to decide what to get, occupying the kiosk for average 8min + per person. There is no service at all. The staff doesn't take the order from you or give recommendations. So even though it takes forever for the ppl to stand in front of the kiosk, you just have to wait. And the checkout automatically charges you 15% tips. Make sure to select your top option if you do not want to pay extra. The app doesn't have the discount/offer they text you. So using the app isn't really a choice if you want to take advantage of the discounts. I like the teas but hope to see improvement from the management on the ordering process. read more
Came here on a whim after finishing our lunch at Tasty Pot since we also saw the souffle's on the menu at Tasty Pot. Do they share a kitchen wall so they can just get the desserts directly? Not 100% sure but I thought I just rather go to the store myself instead and get the full experience. [[ Store ]] I thought the store was really cute looking, spacious, and clean. They have Claw-Me machines and 3 kiosks to order from. They also have really comfortable chairs/tables that you can lounge on after you get your order. 5-star interior ambiance for me. [[ Food ]] I didn't try their boba but came for their souffle's which were already all prepared and sitting in a refrigerated display case that you can't miss. We decided to try the Strawberry Souffle. Overall I found it to be quite tasty with good flavor (not too sweet) and a very soft pastry surrounding it. It's quite big and definitely shareable with someone else. However, I think it's a bit pricey at $9.95 and even though it is good, I don't think it's a "cheap" dessert that you can get often (at least in my opinion). [[ Conclusion ]] I'll need to try their boba when I'm in the area again to see how that fairs as well. read more

If you're looking for a stronger tea flavor, go for the savory cream/crema or just tea options. The milk teas are tasty but I found the tea flavor is more subtle. The popcorn chicken was a solid pick: juicy, crunchy, and flavorful. I ordered the spicy version--while it wasn't as spicy as I'd hoped, they were happy to add more seasoning upon request, which helped a lot. Tried the soufflé on a whim (not usually my go-to), and I was pleasantly surprised. It was fluffier than I expected, with a slightly denser texture, and you can never go wrong with a custard and strawberry combo. The place itself is clean with a welcoming, comfortable seating area. I really enjoyed sitting down with my boba and snacks--perfect for a relaxing break. Will definitely be back to try more items from their menu. read more

I love the Da Hong Pao Milk Tea here! Very tasty especially at 50% sweet. The oolong is also very good. When it's busy, it can be a long wait. They often have fun limited time promos like special discount cards, smoking pot toppers, and other fun gifts. Parking close to the shop can be hit or miss but there's still ample parking further away. read more

What type of non dairy milk do you use for milk tea?
Hi, we use Lactaid lactose free milk for our latte series and plant-based creamer for our signature milk teas.
Are there dairy free options for the lattes or milk teas?
Its actually both our latte series and milk tea series. They are all made with lactose free ingrdient

The dragon and porcelain tea cups you can redeem them with the stamp card provided when picking up order.
Are you still offering the mini smoking Zisha teapot drinks?
No, that was only for Grand Opening :-(
