I made a big ol trek for this one on a workday, as I did a little donut run for my coworkers and I. The shop is pretty small with no seating available but the staff are super kind. They do sell out of flavors, so if you're looking for some of their popular flavors, I'd recommend going early or preordering. I've tried a couple of their donuts and one of their savory pastries and this is my ranking: 1) Tiramisu 2) Kimchi spam puff 3) Cookies n cream 4) Vanilla cream 5) Churro Dulce de leche The tiramisu was a friend's recommendation and it was DELICIOUS. I didn't know it was a filled ring donut prior to buy it but it was a nice surprise! I only wish I'd gotten more than one. The kimchi spam puff was flaky, salty, with a hint of spice that really woke me up in the morning. I personally wish the cookies n cream was a little more vanilla with cookies forward, but it felt a little more chocolate forward. The vanilla cream was pretty standard, so I would say that it's a good basic staple if you're not sure what to get. Churro was my last pick, but it was still a very good donut. Just a little more on the messier end.

Coming back here after years, those savory everything donuts are as perfect as I remember. I would still eat these for breakfast everyday if I could. Perfectly puffy with a delicious and fluffy whipped cream cheese in the middle. It looks like a corporate chain but it's actually a local business. (They even wrote it on the wall so people wouldn't confuse it!) Love the local spot delivering such a excellent product in a beautiful space. Great spot!

I was in the area with a friend yesterday so we decided to stop by as I had this place bookmarked. There's street parking (2 hour limit) in front but there's also a lot in the back. We both found parking easily when we arrived. There are so many good choices here; all of the donut flavors looked really good! It was definitely hard to choose, but I ultimately went with a Pistachio Cream, a Guava Cheesecake, and a Chocolate Hazelnut. All of the donuts were soft and fluffy. The Pistachio Cream was a cream-filled donut with sugar sprinkled on the outside. The cream was really good and the amount was perfect. The Guava Cheesecake had a guava glaze and biscuits on top. There was also a cream layer on the inside. Although I don't usually go for guava desserts, this was good. The Chocolate Hazelnut was more simple and didn't have a filling like the other two. I also got to try the Tiramisu and Black Sesame that my friend got. The Tiramisu was similar to the Guava Cheesecake in that it had the cream layer on the inside. The Tiramisu was delicious. The Black Sesame was also really good; I liked that the black sesame flavor was strong.

I am a victim of gourmet donuts, and Bun Appetit is the reason why I'm a believer now. While the place is very small, there's plenty of donut options! They do run out, so if you want a specific flavor it's probably best to stop by in the morning. Service is always quick and staff are friendly here. I always leave with 6 donuts. While it is on the pricier side, I'm always so happy with what I get. My favorite to date is the earl grey! I'm hoping they can implement a rewards program someday!

Love this spot, it's delicious, and have such variety of delicious items. Their customer service is amazing as well, super easy to place an order in advance for pick up or in person. Ours was to go We tried a variety of their pastries, and I personally loved the matcha. I didn't think the Dubai chocolate worth the money as it tastes bitter, everything else is fairly decent and delicious. Will be back again

Bun Appetit has been on my radar for quite some time now. Definitely a sweet treat that's worth splurging on every now and then, as they have very unique flavor combos, and some of your more traditional flavors. We tried the filled pistachio donut and passionfruit donut. The pistachio filled bun was great, not overly sweet, which I enjoyed. You definitely receive a taste of the rich pistachio butter/cream, and it balances well with the airiness of the actual bread. My personal favorite was the passionfruit donut, because you REALLY taste the passionfruit. Definitely premium donuts sourced with real ingredients, and you can tell with each bite. We came around 2pm and they still had quite a few donuts left, and we were grateful we got to choose from their whole selection. Service was quick and efficient! I'd love to come back in 2026 to try their guava flavor, and any speciality flavors they concoct.

It's been wanting to we visit Bun Appétit and I am glad we finally did. We got the Delgano latte which was delicious. Got the mango, guava, biscoff &mocha bun. My favorite from all of them is the mocha bun $5 each. It's soooo good. We had it warm up for us and we finished it while waiting for our coffee. It was so good. Glad we ordered 2 so my kids can try it. My daughter fav is the biscoff. They are pricey but it's good though. There is no seating area inside. Which I hope they would create one.

Holy crap this place is great. Went on a weekday morning, there can be a bit of a line but it moved fast. I got the Guava, Matcha Truffle, and Pistachio cream. All were phenomenal

These are simply delightful! There are not many places in Fremont that can truly hold their own with the bakeries in the bigger cities of the bay. Bun Appetit is on the level and not to be missed. Their donuts are works of art and sizable. I only had a few bites of a half of 4 flavors and I found myself stuffed. Highly recommend planning to share with multiple people so that you can try multiple flavors. The dough itself is nice and plush, but pretty standard. What is not standard is the quality of the flavor - very true and not just tasting of sugar sweetness. Though these are plenty sweet. My favorite on this occasion was the cheese and fig - absolutely delightful, true to flavor, not too sweet and not too savory either. Very unique.

Great food and quality Service is nice always No sitting inside but there is some outside

Stopped in on a Friday AM to pick up matcha lattes and some pastries. Restaurant was clean and they had 4 employees assisting customers. They only have outside seating, so dress warm and layer up. Parking at that time was easy but I can see it being tricky during peak times. The staff greeted customers as they walked in and took orders quickly and efficiently. I love their boxes and presentation. Their pastries are beautiful and they have a great selection too. Items ordered: Hot oat milk unsweetened matcha latte - delicious nutty flavor and loved the ability to opt for oat milk or almond milk. Iced oat milk unsweetened matcha latte- same as above Oat milk chai- a delicious drink that is not too sweet! Vanilla donut- my coworker had this and thoroughly loved it! Churro donut- my other coworker loved the light fluffy texture and taste was on point. Well done! S'mores donut x2- my 2 other cohorts really were impressed with the presentation and flavor Pear almond donut- another beautiful presentation and good donut Matcha mont blanc- loved the mix of flavors, fluffy texture but a tad too sweet for me Plain croissant Ultimate Avo toast- Was just okay. I prefer this with boiled egg but they gave plenty of fresh avo Overall, this was pretty $$$. With tip etc this was over $100. Nice to treat my staff to something fun every so often and support a small business though.

Top left is banana cream right next to that is strawberry cream and on the bottom is the very delicious blueberry and lemon doughnut.
    Jeff N.

Everything here is fire. I haven't tried anything I didn't like. It really just comes down to your flavor profile because they don't miss. The lemon blueberry was insane... perfect balance, fresh, not overly sweet, just dialed in. The banana cream filled is super fire, strawberry cream, mango cream, cookies and cream... and the fucking Biscoff and cream is ridiculous. The kimchi spam pastry is one of the best things on the menu. You can tell they actually care about what they're making. This place is on another level. There's also seating right out front.

As a frequent patron of this place, I must say they've kept up the quality and diversity of their seasonal flavors. While they always offer their classic flavors, their rotational ones are super creative too. Our regular favorites are the tiramisu, the lychee among the classics. This time we tried their raspberry (filled with chocolate cream), churro (filled with strawberry cream) and the golden fortune (mango fortune cookie themed) too. Loved them all. They aren't too sweet and that's what I like about them. Go early in the morning as they sell out fast on weekends!

Do they let customers use the restrooms now?

No, they are operating as a take out service per the signs

Do you have discounts for bulk orders? I am looking to order about 30 donuts for an event!

When will be it open on Mondays to Wednesdays ? Are you able to take pick up orders on those days?

Even though they are closed Monday and Tuesday they are open from 8am-2pm(or sold out) on Wednesdays.

Are there any seats to study at here or are they still not putting out tables yet?

They are tables and chairs outside. Pretty area to sit at.

Hi! This question is for Bun Appétite only, wondering if you have updated your menu to include vegan donuts? I'd like to take my family and enjoy your vegan donuts if you have any. Thank you!

    No vegan donuts right now

    Yes. Yellow café tables.

Have they started serving breakfast yet? Love their avocado toast but last time they had stopped due to Covid.

    Do they deliver?

I don't think they deliver, but they are open FRI/SAT/SUN (closed Monday-Thursday I believe) for walk-ins to-go. They also offer an online menu to pre-order.

The remodeled bank is really nice and there are fun areas on both stories to explore. The windows and old bank architecture are particularly nice and you get really nice lighting throughout the day. Will be back to try their pizza based on how good the breakfast was. Breakfast Burrito: Probably the best we've had in our area. This is our taste but we don't like them too big. If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.

For starters this location is definitely a more pickup and go location. There is very limited seating and the space is also a lot smaller. But what they lack in space they make up in efficiency. I've never had an issue picking up anything here either through online orders or simply walking in to grab a cake. The staff are always on top of things. Now let's talk about the cakes. If you don't order ahead of time or reserve a cake in advance, then expect the consequences of not planning ahead. The cakes they have on display or the back may not taste the freshest. But in my particular case, I've been fortunate enough that every cake I bought from here was fresh and moist. The staff would even be kind enough to grab one from the back for me without even asking. I bring this up because for bakeries through put is very important on how fresh their products are and this location definitely goes through their inventory constantly. For mother's day they basically ran out of all their cakes so plan ahead for those big occasions. What I also appreciate is they are always able to do a special message for you free of cost, and I always end up tipping extra because you can rarely find this type of service at other cake shops. Because of their flexibility and availability, I will always recommend this location to family, friends and to you as well. Plan ahead and this place won't disappoint. Looking forward to continue coming back here.

I ordered the cream coffee and it was amazing, especially with the jellies inside--it added a really nice texture and sweetness. I also tried my friend's Saigon coffee, which was definitely stronger in flavor but still really good. Service was friendly and fast, which is always appreciated in the morning. I didn't get to take a picture of my drinks this time, but next time I will. Not sure what the rush is like later in the day, but based on this visit, it's definitely a spot I'd come back to.

I selected $1 tip but it kept auto adjusting and ended up tipping 15% on the actual checkout page despite me adjusting multiple times. Not a huge deal but wouldn't make me inclined to order online on NovaTab. I got the Vietnamese White Coffee and it was pretty good. It was quite sweet but meant to drink slowly as the ice melts I assume. My husband got the Saigon Coffee and not even joking, he finished it in 2 sips. There wasn't even a chance to let the ice melt and to sip slowly as there was barely any liquid. I ordered it with light ice yet you can see it's filled with ice and there's even a gap so the drink isn't filled all the way. Overall, this spot has so much potential but not a good first experience. Given there's a lot of great local coffee shops, I won't be returning. Seems like other people have had similar experiences regarding the ice and not filled drinks so hopefully they take the feedback into consideration given their drink costs aren't cheap.

It's super cozy but still feels modern, definitely somewhere you can hang out for a while. I do want to note, on some tables, you cannot have a lap top all day on the weekends and after 4PM on weekdays (probably prevents people from staying for hours on end on busier days). I got the iced Qamaria latte (extra sweet) and my cousin got an iced caramel macchiato, and both were really good! Mine was smooth and very fragrant (cardamom notes mostly), which I appreciated, and the macchiato had a nice balance too. Both 5/5 We also tried the rose milk cake. It had a really light rose flavor and wasn't overly sweet, which made it easy to finish (we almost wanted another one). They had other flavors too like Pistachio, Saffron, Biscoff, etc. and some other pastries. Overall everything just hits, drinks, desserts, atmosphere. Would definitely come back again!

I love their aidaroos tea (black tea with cloves, mint, and sugar - similar to Moroccan mint tea but better). They also have plenty of pastries for you to nibble on.
