Stopped by this Teaspoon as it was on my way home. Although the store itself is small, you can order either via a self-service kiosk or at the register with a barista. Ordered a Pineapple Shine with boba. By default, the drink also comes with osmanthus jelly which it turns out, I wasn't really a fan of. It was also a good thing I checked my drink before leaving, as they had forgotten to add the boba toppings I paid extra for. This was appreciatively quickly rectified when pointed out to the barista. Located in a small strip mall, parking is readily available in their private lot.

Hoji Cookies and Cream Milk Tea (seasonal drink) - So delicious, just make sure you mix it thoroughly because it separates. Also I felt the caffeine with this one lol. The crème brûlée foam on top is yummy, I do wish there were more oreo crumbles inside. But I would get this drink again! Vietnamese Coffee - so strong, so good! Fast service, cute holiday decor inside.

Teaspoon, not always my go-to to but usually a decent option! My friend lives in Hayward so when I told him I wanted a refreshing drink he suggested Teaspoon. This teaspoon is in proximity to the college campus along with other eateries and stores. The boba shop is quite popular with many people coming in and out. You can either order on the tablet or in person then wait for your drink to be called out. There are a few tables outside which are shared with the other businesses, no seating inside but standing and waiting space. With the heat, we just took our drinks to go. Teaspoon currently has a banana series I've been curious about. I got the Banana Matcha Royale with Oat Milk and Boba. I got less sweetness and ice. The drink was so good! Very prominent banana flavor, while a more subtle matcha flavor. Even with half the sweetness it was still quite sweet. The boba was fine but some pearls were a bit harder. I feel that teaspoon drinks are usually on the sweeter end and taste-wise wise it's not always consistent. Teaspoon is a good option in Hayward for those craving tea and is near this shop. I'm not too familiar with the area but it's located off Hesperian Blvd. with a free parking lot.

I was craving boba from Teaspoon so decided to place an order for pick up through the app. I like how simple and user friendly the app is. I also like that there are pictures of the drinks available. I previously tried their Silky Mango and was a big fan of it so wanted to try their Silky Strawberry this time around. The app said my order would take 20 min, but when I arrived within 15 min, it was already ready. The interior is small but super cozy. There are seats right outside. The drink was delicious since it was not too sweet. I enjoyed the chewiness of the boba. I do prefer the mango if I get this drink again.

Great music. Great service. Friendly wait staff. I customized my tea for an osmanthus tea with osmanthus jelly. Yummy. Nice light dessert at 50% sweetness

Goosebumps Vanishing Matcha Latte and Matcha Royale with honey boba

Love love love coming here for their matcha!! Their matcha is ceremonial grade but it's not too strong and 75% is the perfect sweetness. It also pairs really well with their honey boba which is sweet & perfectly chewy. We tried their limited goosebumps matcha drink which was a matcha latte with black sugar swirls. I was scared it was going to be too sweet or the matcha flavor wouldn't come through but it was just as good as the matcha royale! Teaspoon has easily become one of my favorite boba spots in the area.

Teaspoon, PLEASE make your Green Thai Tea a permanent item on your menu - I need my fix!! Green Monster (aka Green Thai Tea) - an October exclusive, understandably. But, it was super light, not too heavy on the tastebuds, and I LOVED IT here! 5/5 Creamy Jasmine (my usual milky drink here when I don't get the Grasshopper) - Refreshing as usual, and I will never turn this down. 5/5 The staff here is super nice and so efficient! One complimented my tattoos, which was super sweet. When we asked to sample the two drinks on display (Green Monster and Guava Sunset), they let us try both, which honestly prompted me to order the Green Monster in the first place. The place was also decorated for Halloween, making the vibes super cute and festive. 5/5 across the board!

Roasted Oolong Tea with house cream And honey boba --the cream curdled like spoiled milk
    Jennie N.

Not sure how this place has 4.5 stars. With so many great options in Fremont and San Jose, this place wouldn't stand a chance. The quality is seriously lacking. I ordered a roasted oolong with honey boba and house cream -- the cream was curdled and looked like spoiled milk, and the boba wasn't fresh at all. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Quick service and solid, refreshing fruit drinks. Perfect spot if you're looking for something fresh and light.

Warm and chewy boba. Good flavors to the drinks. Had the guava sunset was delicious. The silky mango is yummy too but unfortunately the sweetness level is not adjustable. Will definitely need to come back try different drinks.

After lunching at La Piñata on Sunday, December 3, 2023, Sching, Roselene, and I stopped by Teaspoon for boba for our dessert. We arrived around 3 PM. Sching and Roselene ordered the GUAVA SUNSET with no toppings and both of them enjoyed their drinks. I ordered an ICED Roasted Oolong Classic milk tea, 50% SWEETNESS, with Boba and Grass Jelly. Typical of Teaspoon refreshments, my beverage did not disappoint. PROs: Parking lot available for patrons. Service was fast, informative, and friendly. Classic Cream is Lactose Free! Venue appeared clean and tidy. CONs: Tiny venue with absolutely no room indoors for hanging out, outdoor seating only. Ordering is done at the counter situated at the entry of the boba shoppe. At peak times, a line could possibly easily grow outside the front door which would not be fun during uncomfortable weather conditions. If in the vicinity and wanting to grab boba to go, I would hit up this place again.

    Taro, strawberry matcha, strawberry colada
    Tina A.

Tasty, good, and nice service Taro - had chunks of real Taro in it in addition to the powdered stuff, Taro was a good texture Matcha with strawberry - such a good combination, satisfying, strong, and earthy. It's supposedly ceremonial matcha too Strawberry colada - exactly as it sounds like a piña colada with strawberry, a bit on the sweeter side, hit the sweet tooth spot for the fruit lovers Service was good with honest thoughts from the girl with the glasses in front. She went above and beyond to bring our drinks out to us too a we had to entertain babies outside Overall, with a menu with a lot of variety, I'd probably return to try their other flavors

Incredibly frustrating as there were several instances of people just cutting their way in line and just placing their orders/getting served ahead of everyone else by just walking straight up to the register. When it came to my turn the staff asked for my order then turned around and instead went and took care of someone who had cut in front straight to the register to buy bread when I had already been waiting in line for awhile. They did not even bother asking if they had been waiting there before or had cut the line, the staff just skipped me just because that person had gone straight up to the register. Incredibly frustrating situation and I just did not want to get into it with the line cutter or the staff.
