Used to be a regular customer. Then one time I ordered four burgers and two sodas for the office with my coworker. We ordered two drinks. While we're waiting for our food to be prepared we're drinking the soda. Then the cashier that just took our order comes up to us and tells us that she didn't charge us for the second soda even though she gave us two cups. So I look at the receipt, and she only charged us for one. So I say okay "what do you want us to do? I'm not going to pay the credit card fee again." Then she just stands there awkwardly. Then I say "do you want the drink back?" The drink my coworker is currently sipping on. She says yes, and we hand the drunken cup back. It was a Saturday morning and the place was packed inside and at the drive thru. Coffee is unlimited Ana's self serve. Everything was fresh and hot. The pancakes were ok not the greatest. But I did see people ordering a lot of French toast so I guess I'll try that next time. There is a salas bar and their green salsa was awesome on my eggs. They also have their coffee creamers at this bar and Yes they have flavored creamer. Your food is brought to your table nice and hot. The service is friendly. This is my place for a delicious chicken salad they never get it wrong, lettuce is always fresh the chicken is perfectly grilled and seasoned to deliciousness and it comes with avocado (no extra charge) I am a fan of their ranch and it comes with a warm pita bread and if you get the OG cook and cashiers (two nice ladies) they take care of you. I was going on a weekend so I ordered a pastrami burger with asada fries. I have no idea why it's not called "carne asada fries" because they thought I said "a side of fries". I had to correct the order when I rode up to the window. The service was good. The person who took my order was nice and didn't throw a fit when I corrected the mistake. From the car, I could see the chefs cook my food so I knew my food was fresh. I'm not sure how it's like for other times of the day. I do have to say that wait was really long though. Now for the food: - Pastrami burger was massive. There was a lot of pastrami! The fillings was also a good balance to the burger. For the beef patty, it was not undercooked. Some reviews stated that their food wasn't cooked all the way; I did not experience this. Also the beef tasted okay. It met my expectation. - There were a lot of fries. I thought it was delicious besides a few things. I wish there was more cheese. It was almost non existent. The guac and sour cream didn't taste that fresh... The asada was okay, but you can tell it's low quality. Overall, I thought Tasty Choice is good. Place was clean. Kitchen was clean. Plenty of tables. Lady at register was real nice I am a pain with my breakfast burrito. Hash browns sliced in half the cooked again. I used to LOVE eating here. A couple months ago they went under new ownership/management and everything is completely different. They used to have the best fries and fried zucchini, amongst other items. Anyway, in high hopes w/new management I ordered a beef teriyaki burger assuming it would come with a beef patty like normal teriyaki burgers do. When I opened it, it had beef pieces with bell peppers. The beef was HORRIBLE. As shown in the picture below. Just couldn't understand why it would be made this way?! Huge chunks of beef, I couldn't even chew it. Also, fries weren't seasoned like they used to be, zucchini is completely different. Service wasn't great either. I am still SO disappointed. They definitely need help in the kitchen. * Their hashbrowns are horrible. Theyre so hard they feel like those hard asian noodles. Crunchy all around, inside and out. No flavor. It just took up space on the plate because i didnt eat it. * The bacon is over cooked * Toast is super dry and if they put butter on it, then its probably only one drop that dries up by the time you get the food. BURGERS: I didnt get this but my friend did. I tried it after she told me she didnt like it. Its bad. Meat is dry. Bread, soggy. Fries not well cooked. SPEAKER: They need to invest in a speaker that works. That thing is loud but sounds so distorted the person at the drive through window cant really hear what the person is ordering. Clean, friendly workers and owner, food is a bit high priced for where they are and what they give but the food is pretty good. The only thing I'd stay away from is their salads it's more like a wilted salad soup. There is SO MUCH water left in it every time I order it! The lettuce has come so disgustingly wilted at times that it's no longer able to hold its shape, it's just mush. Also the boiled egg they put in it is always old and mushy!
