Carne Asade fries

Great food, good service = loyal customers. Little local place with authentic Mexican food.

Our first visit to Teresa's Mexican Grill. It's a small mom and pop place with 7-8 tables. Saw its great Yelp ratings and decided to give it a try. Our server was very polite and friendly. We ordered taquitos, Carnita platter, burrito mojardo, chile relleno, and menudo. The menudo was excellent. Very delicious authentic Mexican food. Everything tasted freshly homemade. 5 stars

Chillaquiles con salsa verde

Ive sat at this hole in the wall spot a few times. Each time, receiving excellent customer service and delicious food. I recommend it entirely

Excellent red pork pozole. Spicy and hits the spot. Get ready to sweat out the bad stuff after a long night. My friends enjoyed their green chicken pozole and molcajete. Watermelon agua fresca hit the spot. Decor is hole in the wall with a homey vibe and tribute to family. I like the pic, who I assume is Teresa. holding a Modelo haha Eat local!

Deep fried burrito.

Goid friendly atmosphere. I had the carne asada burrito. Very mediocre. It wasn't terrible; it wasn't great. It was mostly rice. The meat was scant and was not a good cut of beef. The soda was warm. They did not have fresh salsa for the chips.

Café de olla DELICIOUS!!

Even though the place was buzzing with energy and clearly a local favorite, the team handled the weekend crowd seamlessly. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast, making the entire experience feel smooth from start to finish. Since there were five of us, we ordered a variety of dishes to share family-style, which turned out to be the best decision. The absolute star of the table was the pancakes--they are truly outstanding! They nailed both the texture and the flavor: golden on the outside, insanely fluffy on the inside, and rich without feeling overly heavy. The waffles were equally delicious, holding a fantastic crisp on the edges while remaining light in the center. To top it all off, the drink selection was top-tier. Whether you get their specialty coffees or refreshing iced beverages, or even hot tea. Every drink was crafted with care and tasted wonderful alongside the sweet and savory brunch items. It's rare to find a busy weekend brunch spot where both the food and the service shine this brightly. We will definitely be back!

Don't underestimate the size of the cup because it does hit you after 2 cups. I would say it was worth to get brunch here because of this option. Farm Fresh scramble: It's a small size dish topped with fresh avocado. Basically a omelet with mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Comes with a side, so we chose waffle. Great balancing meal if you want something on the lighter end. Monte Cristo: This was a big dish was huge or the other dish was small and it comes with a side. We ordered a side of crispy scalloped potatoes, soft and gooey. I would recommend ordering the potato scallops to try something new. Ham, Swiss and egg was warm. The sandwich was cut into two halves so really shareable plate.

Looking at the menu, I decided to get the loco moco with portugese sausage. I am not a fan of loco moco, but heard it was really good here so ordered it but wanted Portuguese sausage since that's one of my favorite Hawaiian items It was finally our turn to order and my wife got the soft shell crab benedict. I ordered the loco moco with portugese sausage, only to find out that they did not have any portugese sausage! Menu was vast enough I didn't want to keep the line so decided to get the traditional loco moco with a hamburger patty. After our order, we sat down and waited for your food to arrive. As I was doing this, I noticed that a lot of people orderer the loco moco, but with katsu. I think I am gonna try that next time, or possibly with Spam. Anyway, our food came! Loco Moco - I can't say much about this since I am usually not a fan of loco moco so I am gonna just say it's good. A lot of people ordered it so it must be. Soft Shell Crab Benedict - My wife really did enjoy this. This looked too creamy and rich for my taste so I didn't try it. But she said that was the take away of the visit and will order that again the next time we come. My meal wasn't ideal but my wife's was. She really liked the benedict. We will be coming back, hoping that they will have portugese sausage on our next visit.
