We get our usual, double cheese burgers with fries. It hits every time and the price isn't too crazy. After moving away and eating at mediocre burger spots, I came back and ordered the usual. The burgers still taste amazing and the fries are always well seasoned and have the perfect consistency of crunchy fries and soft fries, just how I like em. The morning cook is always so nice to me and flashes me a big smile everytime I visit. Definitely a spot to try if you're craving burgers and fries.

Breading is not standard for popcorn chicken, which in itself is not a deal-breaker, but it also felt like a poor breading to chicken ratio-- far too much breading, like I could feel my arteries clogging before I could taste the chicken. Maybe that's the fad now and I just missed it?

The burger was delicious, the beef patties were thinner but it was juicy, plenty of lettuce which I like, white onions and 2 slices of tomatoes, with fat fries and a medium drink, I got sprite since it was like 90 degrees outside. I didn't eat at the restaurant because it was hot inside so I ate it in me car with the windows rolled down and just watched the cars go by lol the guy was friendly and he has a thick accent, I thought he was middle eastern but maybe he's Latino, the place is colorful with the tables and chairs. It has a couple of games for the kids. When you buy the combo, you can also get the drinks from the refrigerator instead of the soda machine. I thought that was cool. If you guys in the area, you should come get some juicy burgers, they also have a huge selection of Mexican food too. My husband used to work at Big D's in El Monte and Art had worked there too for a moment I believe before he opened Art's Burgers Anyways, my husband does work in the City of Industry and when I have a day off from work during the week, I usually visit. Well, the day I chose to visit was the day we both agreed to get Art's. I know I miss being able to hit up the drive thru for a late night burger and chili cheese fry. I haven't found any place near me that hits the same as this place does. Burger and chili cheese fry were very good as always. Of course, before I headed home, I had to swing back to the drive thru to bring some family some food (burgers and of course the chili cheese fries). While I was waiting, Art came out and chatted with me a bit and had me laugh. He also thanked me for coming back to support the business, to which I responded I do try when I come back to the area. I know we will have future visits here and there, just not always as it's not easy to get that way all the time. I will point out the location can get quite busy and traffic is usually erratic in the area. It's almost a risk getting out of the exit side of the drive thru as cars block your vision to the left side and then you got cars coming from the right side. Other than that, I would recommend a visit to this spot when in El Monte.
