My experience today at this Tastea location was not good. I ordered an Avocado Coconut Dream because my last two visits were really good and I wanted another one today. When I got my drink, the blended avocado was on the watery side and didn't have the smoothie like texture it's supposed to have. This actually happened to me at another Tastea location when I ordered a Mango Coconut Dream, so it was upsetting to pay over $8 for a drink that wasn't made right. I asked the male staff member who prepared my drink if there was any way he could make the avocado part thicker. He said he could add more avocado blend and I said okay. Then, abruptly, a female staff member took my drink and rudely said, "Oh, we're remaking this?" She aggressively grabbed the drink, took it over to the male staff member, rolled her eyes and whispered something to him. I can only assume she was saying something negative about me. I then said, "You guys don't have to remake it. I just wanted to add avocado blend to make it thicker." She rudely responded, "Well, he's already remaking the whole thing." The male staff member finished making my drink, handed it to me, and apologized. He explained that he added more avocado blend and less coconut milk to make it thicker. I thanked him and left. The drink wasn't the same as the last two I purchased. It had less mochi and I think the worker may have overcompensated by making the drink really thick and using less of the other ingredients. That was fine with me since I did ask for it to be thicker. What really didn't sit well with me was the rudeness and attitude from the female staff member. I understand mistakes happen, and I wasn't upset with the male staff member at all. He was actually apologetic and tried to fix the drink for me. To the rude female staff member: customers pay a portion of your paycheck, so please remember to treat us kindly!
Came for the viral mango coconut drink. I liked that you can adjust the sweetness. The sago and mochi were cooked well, chewy and not overcooked. Good amount of fresh mango chunks, it didn't taste frozen. The mango flavor on the mango slush part could have been stronger, it tasted watered down. $8.30 for the drink so it's pricey. Overall it was good but the Heytea mango coconut boom is still superior
One of the OG tea shops in SGV and it's pretty hidden in a massive plaza. The plaza it resides in nowadays is not too busy, you'll often find tons of parking where Tastea is in the back. Their menu is huge and you could take a long time to even get through the entire thing. I recommend their matchas as one of their signature drinks. Staff here is great, they're very friendly and quick as well. My partner and my orders were out swiftly as we visited to get their BOGO on National Ice Tea Day. Portions are huge which was a shocker to me even though I've seen the cups before. Very refreshing although it's the ice tea tasted bitter for some parts. Overall, decent drinks, and definitely a spot you can visit if you want variety of drinks.

First time here. Caught my attention with the Grade A by the window. I got the Jasmine milk tea 20oz with green bobas. Bobas taste fresh and soft. You can actually taste the tea. It's located in the plaza where 99 ranch market is at. The store is next to MPO eyecare optometry. Plenty of parking. The store isn't very big. There are only 4 tables and a few seats. Overall, not bad. Service was fast and server was nice. There are board games if you decide to sit down and chill.
As an update, they don't take orders over the phone for pick up. Only come in to place the order or app orders only.
Had the Taro Fantasy and it was a Fantasy indeed. It took me to a place I've never been before and it was Delicious! I love Taro so much that I guess you can say that I'm kind of addicted to it lol. Plenty of parking spaces in the Plaza area here. Plenty of drink choices and flavors to try. Would highly recommend this place to all who is searching for a "Tastea" drink. Service was very good here. They pretty much helped me on things to try but I just wanted my Taro lol.
I really like Tastea for all their drinks and snacks. As for the drinks, they give a good amount of toppings and they have a strong tea flavor. It doesn't taste watered down at all. Tastea is 626 OG staple and I really appreciate the affordability, efficiency in receiving the items, and the fact that you can just chill at the store. There's a good amount of seating and they provide games as well. Not pictured but I do really enjoy their snacks as well. Their popcorn chicken, fries, and newest pizza rollz are delicious. They're hot and fresh and packed with so much flavor. It's perfectly crispy which makes them my favorite guilty pleasure snack to enjoy accompanied by the boba.
I have been to this shop off and on, mostly when shopping at the 99 Ranch, which is adjacent. I like that the staff is very ready to answer questions about the drinks, making recommendations and making sure you enjoy what you ordered. Also a plus for me that their base creamer is non-dairy, and not with an extra charge. Most recently I tried their Vietnamese ice coffee with banana foam. My understanding is that they use fresh banana and banana pudding in the foam. It's an unexpected combination to me, but it works well. They also helped me adjust the amount of sweetness since the banana foam is sweetened. The coffee is strong and it's really nice to have fresh flavors vs. a syrup. It's a great stop for a treat.

We've been coming here for years and the drinks never disappoint. Honestly, the drink menu is sooo yummy. You have to get the Muddy Melon, it's so damn good.
My new favorite item to order - Peach Me Sweet Tea - love the pieces of fruit and the perfect amount of sweetness! This drink is light and refreshing! Customer Service was good!
I honestly just like all their fruit teas. The milk teas are not somthing i usually get here. My favorite is the lychee peachy. I stopped by with my sister for snacks only and their buttloada fries always hit! Service is quick and friendly.
Located in the same plaza as the 99 Ranch and Jollibee. The store opens at 10 am, an hour earlier than other boba shops, which is nice so I can shop and drop by afterwards. I got a matcha Thai milk tea (not my favorite flavor) and a tiger milk tea (preferred this one). read more

I went on a Friday late afternoon in late November to use my birthday $5 reward. I ordered on the app and drove there to pick it up at certain time. It wasn't ready at my pick up time so I had to wait extra 10 more minutes. It appeared they were behind on the orders. They have a side window and I just waited till my drink called. I love Tastea and so excited thay they've been opening more locations all around. They just came out with an oolong milk tea and j was so excited to try! Oolong is one of my preferred milk tea to get and they do it well! I normally go for their flavored tea and avocado smoothie but I may start coming more for their oolong milk tea! Their boba is really good too and they honestly have one of the best popcorn chicken! I'm sad not all of their locations offer food and it's only at select locations. I personally love their popcorn chicken and their fried aren't half bad! The prices went up though.. And now they offer two different sizes. I also love that you can substitute the tea base now! Not happy at all with the delivery of the fries and chicken through postmates. I was excited to eat the fries and chicken since I basically grew up going to tastea with my friends since high school. I've always gone to the Rowland heights location and not this Alhambra one but I cant imagine it would be that different. I ordered fries, chicken, and a large peachme sweet tea. The fries were sooo bad I couldn't even believe it. They came dark/burnt looking and it looked like they used old oil to fry it. Same with the chicken.. I was probably moreso disappointed because you are paying $7.50 for a few pieces of chicken but you would expect that chicken to actually be made correctly/good. I ended up calling the store and telling them about it but they seem to not be very trained in customer service because usually workers would know to apologize and offer some way to fix it rather than me asking. I suggested that they remake it and I would drive over to pick it up. I was pretty annoyed though because the whole point of ordering delivery is so that I don't have to waste time driving to the store. The fries from the store came out to be better and more fresh so I appreciated that. I guess the quality just diminishes once you leave the store even though I'm only a 5-7 min drive from this place. Either way, I probably won't come back to this location but maybe give the Rowland heights one another chance. Drinks are good though so I can't completely give this place up. Ordered our usual onlije and when we to pick up, they didn't have it ready. Somehow it was overlooked and not made. Had to wait another 25 minutes. I have always loved Tastea. Their honey boba is soft and chewy and the sweetness is on point. I went to this location last week since I'm new to the neighborhood. The service is a little slower than other OC Tastea locations but nothing too dramatic The staff isn't that welcoming but not rude anyway. I would probably do online order next time instead of walk in for a faster service (hopefully). Other than that, I have and will always love Tastea. Good quality of drinks and pretty flavorful. Try it when you can. WHAT I GOT: Watermelon Heaven with Honey Boba - this drink is so refreshing and has summer vibes written all over it. It's so flavorful and perfect for the weather. This review is lonnng overdue. I've been visiting Tastea ever since it opened a few years back and my most recent visit was earlier today. Backstory: Tastea will always have a soft spot in my heart ever since I discovered it in Westminster during my college days yearssss back. I'll crave it from time to time and I typically prefer their fruity tea drinks. Anyways, Tastea converted to app order and pick up early on when COVID first started to get real serious in March. I actually think this system is a lot more efficient because instead of waiting in person, ordering and waiting, you can skip the line and pre-order on your app, which also periodically provides discount codes and promotions. The store is also located conveniently on East Main Street in the 99 Ranch market plaza and I've never had issues with parking (COVID or not). I put in my order on the app: Tropical Bliss w/ Aloe - med sweet ($7.35), 2 Peach Me Sweet Tea - reg sweet ($6.25), The Unknown - reg sweet ($6.25). All 32 oz w/ less ice, which I included in the notes. I also got 2 orders of Butt Load of Fries (one mild, one med spicy), and you can choose up to 3 sauces with each order. The whole order took around 10 minutes or so to finish. The pickup system is pretty fast. They have speakers outside and they yell your name when your order is ready. Fortunately when we drove over, they had just yelled my name so my bf and I went inside the door (where they provide some hand sanitizer) and told them my name. A staff member quickly got my drinks and fries and off we went. I've always loved the Peach Me Sweet Tea and will typically always order it when I visit any Tastea. However throughout the years, the tea has gotten significantly sweeter and I always try to dilute it at home (which means more drink - yaaas). My recent favorite drink has been the Tropical Bliss - a fruitea mix of orange juice, pineapple juice, guava and jasmine green tea -medium sugar. Oh boy, this drink is so refreshing and thirst-quenching. I'll even think about the drink even after I finish it haha. If you add in some aloe bits, theres a lil something to chew on (which I'm used to from the peach me sweet tea). This drink is considered to be 'premium' and is around $0.50 more than the signature drinks because there's so many different juices. On to the food: the Butt Load of Fries were a little soggier today. They weren't as fresh and crispy as they normally would but it's probably because they were sitting in the box and we didn't air them out as we drove home. The fries were on the salty side and the medium spicy had more of a kick than usual. I typically will love the fries but today, I wasn't as impressed, but maybe next time will be better. All in all, I still love Tastea. Sure prices has gone up over the years but it's a safe go-to. Love the convenience and drinks are typically done right. Come try it and see. P.S. My favorite boba shop to get fruity drinks! My go to peach me sweetea and the unknown with honey boba. Btw, you can switch out the fruit bits for honey boba if you don't want like them, or switch to a different fruits as well. I usually get medium sweetness because the drinks are on the sweeter side. I also love their popcorn chicken and fries - always so crispy and delicious! They have online order through their apps if you don't want to wait in line, but there's almost never a wait though. Glad that there is a closer tastea to me, but the drinks are not up to par with the Rowland location. My go-to drink in the summer is the watermelon heaven. However, at this location it tastes a little off. I don't taste the watermelon as much and there's not as much watermelon bits. It tasted pretty watered down :( The fries here are the same though so I would come back for that! They're also pretty stingy about the sauces. They usually only give one and it's not even filled up all the way! We always have to go back in and ask for more. read more

Refreshing I personally feel like Tastea is very consistent with their quality of drinks. (Bay Area & So Cal) I usually get : - wintermelon tea with salted cream cheese on top : overly sweet but just ask to put less wintermelon syrup! - lychee peachee : so refreshing!! there's mini lychee bits inside of it. - matcha thai milk tea : very sweet because of the thai portion. i feel like 25% fits best. Tip : I normal get drinks at 25% sweet because it's still very sweet but never the less it's very refreshing! read more

Inside a plaza, located in between the 99 Ranch and the optometry. Plenty of parking. Inside the store is limited seating and a bit cramped. Peach Me Sweetea is the way to go. It's a strawberry and peach black tea with fruit bits. There are other fruity drink options under their Specialteas menu too but Peach Me Sweetea is probably the fan fave. On the other hand, their milk teas aren't that good and often inconsistent. Sometimes there's a dispenser at the counter for sampling a milk tea and it only tastes good in that tiny amount. Fries and popcorn chicken are decent but I like that there's an option to destroy your stomach with the spice level. But that's smart because you'd probably need to order a milk tea too. read more

Very efficient during these COVID times! I always enjoyed Tastea for their fruity drinks more than their milk tea drinks, just because they're a lot more refreshing and the tea is kind of weak (in terms of caffeine). So usually on hot summer days like these, I would prefer Tastea for their fruity refreshing drinks! I believe it's just online orders only. You download the Tastea app and the it's very easy to navigate. Everything runs really smoothly and it even tells you that your order is "in progress" or "completed" when it's done. My go-to drink is usually the Lychee Peachee with Light Stevia. I like how they give you the option to choose stevia since it does make the drink sweet, but it's also the healthier kind of sugar! The original boba (it's green-colored) isn't that sweet, but it balances off the sweetness of the drink itself so it was a better choice that I went with that. read more

I gave Tastea a try once a long time ago and didn't totally love my drink. I recently gave it another try because if you download the app, you'll get a free reward which is a free drink. And I mean, how can you say no to a freebie. Let me just tell you, ever since my free drink my husband and I have been hooked. We're now coming back every few days because well... their drinks are addicting! my husband go to drink is: black tea with lychee juice and logan bits light sweet what i highly recommend: *watermelon heaven with aloe (this is a seasonal drink) *coconut strawberry smoothie medium sweet they have a ton of toppings to choose from. which I really like! Ordering on the app is super easy. And you can even save one of your previous orders as a favorite which will make your next reorder super fast. Surprisingly hadn't tried this place out so decided to UberEATS a few drinks to try out. The drinks were all alright. Not the best I've had, but definitely not the worst still. ITEM'S ORDERED: House Special Coffee (medium sweet) Black Vietnamese Iced Coffee Flavored Iced Tea (green tea w/ passion fruit juice, light sweetness) TASTE: House Special Coffee kind of sounded like 7 Leaves house coffee & it kind of tastes like that but not as good. The coffee flavor is too dormant & it gets overly milky the more you drink it. I could not even taste the hazelnut flavor so I wonder if it was forgotten. Not a bad flavor overall, just too unbalanced & does not come together. Black Vietnamese Iced Coffee is just as described. Nice & cold & very strong. I imagine many people would find this quite strong. It's like an overly strong dark roast Americano. Not sure if it's just on the UberEATS app or if it's the same in store, but I was unable to order just an iced green tea. The green tea with passion fruit was ok. Even though I got light sweetness I still found it pretty sweet. Green tea flavor is there but it prefer it stronger. Also I do feel if the passion fruit flavor had more tartness to it, the whole drink would come together better. SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING: UberEATS order so no direct comments on service. I like how all the drinks had a tamper evident sticker securing the cup & lid. But I do think the drinks could have all been a bag. Also, was given all boba straws even though I didn't order any boba. Maybe they ran out of regular straws. They are located in the 99 Ranch shopping center, across from the LA Fitness. Very easy to access & lots of parking. I'm not opposed to going back for the black Viet coffee or maybe to try another tea out. read more

I ordered on the app for a head start and turned out I had to wait another 15 minutes because they were still working on my drink. To add on to the disappointment, there was no fruit bits... it literally tasted and looked like water and sugar. I ordered a peach me sweetea 50% sweet with boba and it did not taste like one at all. It was a really warm day & I still needed to finish up my errands and this boba tea spot was conveniently next door so I yelped it. Found out it was online order only during this Covid lockdown period, so I planned out my time and had an easy pick up. They have a pick up window to the right of the entrance doors so you don't need to go inside which is super convenient & almost contactless (with the online order). I ordered a Lychee Peachee and it was great! I loved the peach tea. It had a great strong tea flavor, peach flavor was good. The lychee pieces at the bottom were a great compliment to the drink. I ordered a Large and it took all day to finish it. Service was quick and friendly. It was a pleasant experience. It's located in the 99 Ranch / AAA plaza, with lots of parking. Tastea is fairly new here in the sgv. My sister had been to other locations before and she was thrilled this store had opened on main street in the 99 ranch (formerly ralphs and across from LA fitness) plaza. They have large 32 oz. Drinks here which adds to the novelty of things. There's a decent selection of fruit based drinks here. The peach me sweetea is one of my usual go to orders. I've also ordered the bootea shaker which isn't bad as well. And today I got the unknown. So far all the drinks have been good, it mostly depends on what you prefer for the fruit flavors and what kind of toppings you want. I haven't tried any of the milk tea drinks yet. The food is surprisingly good here as well. I've gotten their fries as well as their chicken. I usually go for the highest spiciness level or the one right below it but even the milder portions are seasoned well so there's a lot of flavor. Tons of parking in the lot here. Usually it's not too bad to find a spot but on occasion it can be pretty bad with all the other businesses operating in the plaza. read more
What attracted me to this boba store was the menu options! They have some pretty interesting flavors like matcha thai milk tea, ube milk tea, and winter melon milk tea. I got the taro milk tea with crystal boba and it was pretty good. Recommend adjusting the sweetness as they are pretty sweet! I got less sweet and it was still a little too sweet. Would come back here if I'm craving some fun boba milk tea flavors! read more

Elise it is a Food Coloring that makes it Green. It is not harmful at all and completely edible.
Does the kitchen close early or can I get snacks all the way till closing?
Jenny, all stores close Kitchen 1 hour before the store closing time. So if a store closes at 11pm, their kitchen closes by 10pm.

Hi Tiffanie! Our hours are currently just for soft open, and when the store manager decides his team is ready, we will be extending the hours.
