The inspiring chef in me brought me to Target to find a pastry rolling pin, a crepe pan and some other items. I walked through the aisles and found a corner dedicated to Food Network Star, Giada Di Laurentis cookware...I looked through all her stuff.......alas there was no pastry rolling pin here... further along there was cookware from another Food Network Star Paula Deen but the her items were limited to crockpot and nonstick cookware set. One final try as I looked through Martha Stewart cookware and bakeware.. also no pastry rolling pin or crepe pan here either. Easily one of the filthiest target locations. Routinely dirty, unkept, and disorganized. I feel dirty just standing in food court area. Street vendors have cleaner floors and chairs. Typically has this musty smell when you walk on as well. Most targets are better businesses than this one. I dread coming here. read more

2 stars is just for the cafe This Target cafe has your typical deli items (hot dog, popcorn, etc) and a Starbucks. I rated it just 2 stars because this location is NEVER completely cleaned. The Starbucks area is usually very sticky on the floor and counter and is consistently messy. A few times in the warmer months, I have been here and have seen flies inside the casing with baked goods. One time, I told an employee that I noticed flies on the food and she just shrugged at me while she opened the door for the flies to get waved out. She was young and it was probably her first job. So I assumed she just didn't know what to do, but I will never buy from their baked goods again unless it's vacuum sealed. The Target Cafe section is usually pretty decent by the counter. All other areas are always a mixed bag with leftover pieces of food, spills from sodas, and sticky floors. Some people tend to leave their half filled cups or empty popcorn bags behind. I cannot comprehend why, mostly families, do not make their kids pickup after themselves. Everyone wants a nice location to shop around in and they should make their family be more responsible for keeping the areas clean too, in my opinion... just sad to see our local store have such an unkept looking area read more

I like the food selection they've brought into the Stockton store on Pacific and March. I haven't been to any other Targets , but this store is great for single people like myself. A great selection of quality meats and produce in smaller packages that I can prepare easily. read more

But can somebody please explain to me why the carpet cleaning products were not located with the rest cleaning supplies near the front of the store? This location seems better than the Macy's in this mall. That sounds weird--that Target is even in a mall, and I've seen a few like that. The store has good stock and you're unlikely to be disappointed that something is unavailable. The lines seemed a bit busy, especially for being before 11 a.m. but I would think that the majority of their employees work from 11-2 and 4-7, just like fast food places, to cover lunches. They had some good merchandise in the clearance sections, and that always seems a good way to shop. I need to furnish an apartment and I'm finding things here and there. At least, I don't have to think about Macy's when I can find most of what I need at Target instead. read more

My sister and I went in to target on September the 16th to get a roku and while we were there we were looking at the TV's. We asked for some assistances and the girl that we were talking to called for help. I love targets but this place was tore up today. When I walked in there were 4 executives in Starbucks and frankly they should have been ashamed for not being on the floor cleaning up. Shoes looked like a bomb went off and everything was thrown back on the shelves. Men's ailed were full of carts and was unshoppable. There's was freight all over the store and the shelves were empty. No gum. No spices. No Tylenol. I wanted some crayons but a worker tried to run me over and a trash bin blocked the aisle. 4 employers stood at the front chatting when I left. The selection here isn't nearly as good as the selection in San Jose, probably cuz it's in Tracy but it does do the job whenever I am in need of quick general supplies like shampoo and tampons. Tonight we ordered a dresser for pickup, showed in stock on the app, placed the order, only to get an update that there was an issue and they did not have it in stock. We've lived in Tracy for about 2 years now and it seems like for the last 6 months every time we come to this Target they're out of stock(for whatever we need). They'll show in stock through the app/online, but we go and they can't seem to find what we're looking for. Anything from clothes, to baby stuff, to food, we keep coming and end up having to drive over to Walmart instead. These days I rarely find myself in a Target but when I do, it's usually because of some sort of emergency. This particular visit was after a day at Yosemite where we'd been in the park about 4 minutes and had not even left the car when I managed to stab through my hand with what my roommate later described as his "sharpest serrated knife". Blood everywhere and a gaping butterflied open wound exposing the meat and muscle in my hand was the end product and while the first aid kit he brought with was mighty handy, I needed something a little more heavy duty but wasn't yet ready to fork over the hefty co-pay that would come with a hospital visit. Open late on the weekends, this Target had my back. Though the medical stuff is on the opposite end of the entrance and the line system here around 10pm is an absolute shit show, they had over a dozen types of medical tape (handy when you're allergic to certain kinds like me), and butterfly closure strips on super sale. The organization could have been a little neater- some stuff is on the wrong shelf and quite a few things were jammed to fit, but in an emergency I was able to get what I needed and survive. Came in because I didn't want to use a credit card. Used a Target gift card at their Pizza Hut. Tried to stay healthy with a chicken salad. It was okay, cheese was a little hard, not what I'm used to. The Chicken Pesto sandwich I got was dry and tasteless. The bead and chicken fell apart! Most of it eded up on the napkin, then in the bag!'nThe manufacturer was Archer Farms on both items. DON'T waste your money like I did! I thought I'd use my Starbucks card and get a drink. They were out of what I wanted and had been out for 2 weeks. Then, the cookie I wanted had been out for a week! As a Starbucks customer I expect the same treatment and availability of product. But, upon leaving I called Starbucks to let them know about my experience. They confirmed they would have a representative call me to discuss my concerns. Her I am six months later. I have contacted the customer service line at least 5 times, count them 5 times! Every representative assured me that I would have a manager call me to discuss my experience. Nope, nope, District Manager? Nope. Regional Manager? Nope. My conclusion is that representatives can say, "I assure you that someone will get back to you. But the experience is 'It doesn't happen.' the only target in the city of Tracy, starbucks located inside always have a queue of people inkling to down some coffee. The place is always full of people, given that they're located at the mall. Their shelves are fully stocked so you're never leaving with an empty cart (some of them things you never really need). They always have a good deal on their clearance sections, shoe department is always a disaster zone so good luck finding the shoes you're looking for in the right place. Other than that, the place is organized and there's always an associate around to help you out if you needed one. read more

I was in Target in Tracy Ca. Today and had a coupon for $20.00 off if you spent $125.00 or more also a coupon for $20% off women's clothing in my target app. Which was another $5.00 off. I made sure that I spent over $125.00 so that I could use the coupon. (I spent $160.00). The cashier scanned my bar code and I walked away. I looked at my receipt and no money was taken off. I went to the service desk and told them that the coupons had not been applied. The lady there was not sure how to take care of it so she got the manager. The manager, (her name was Espy or something like that) came over and said there were some restrictions and I already knew that and did not have any of those items on there. She then told me that I could not use both coupons , which I knew was not right but she insisted. I ended up having to go back in line and ring everything up again and scan my bar code again and the $20.00 and $5.00 were taken off. I knew I was right and that Espy was wrong! It just makes me mad that I had to go through all of that when it could have been taken care of so quickly and that the manager didn't even know the correct policy. This is a friendly and nice Target store. Normally, I hate going to chain stores in different areas because the layouts get me all out of whack and I get frustrated when I find the bathing suits where the foods should be, but now that I've been to TWO places that had the same format, I gave it a chance. Really, we came in to see if they had anymore trench coats for my sister since all the Targets at home ran out. I then decided I should look for Mortal Kombat on DS. We ended up leaving with at least 230 dollars worth of purchases. Customer service is pretty awesome here to. This is my go to spot for everyday needs and getting the kids out to shop. Pretty much usually find everything I need, a major plus that its now a Super Target for when I don't wanna hit 3 different stores for eyeliner, bacon and wine. The kids section has beefed up a bit over the past few months. It used to be pretty bland; its better. A plus that there is a Starbucks and a Pizza Hut in the small food court that they have there. The popcorn and slushy is a great deal. Not to mention the nachos combo is pretty yummy too. Great to grab a quick bite and shop. One of my fav stores in any town. Target get 5 stars today for offering healthy snacks to kids for free in the dining area. They had a box of fruit available near the register. We went to purchase Icees and the kids were able to get bananas and clementines to go along with their sugary drinks. read more

The Target in the Tracy mall is very good! It's one of those super Targets that have everything. Groceries, clothing, home decor, pharmacy -- everything! I got some great deals here -- like tooth-whitening toothpaste for $2.99, which are so much more expensive at other stores. It's has most hair products in looking for almost never fails with the things I want and they do price match Walmart so that's a big bonus.
