I have never had any issues with the customer service here. Everyone has always been kind and helpful. However, while I was at self checkout today, Anita thought it was appropriate to nudge and push our cart to get through rather than simply asking us to move it. We were not blocking the way, another customer came through afterward, which made the space tight and caused some congestion between the registers. My very first time to come to g to is Costco, and the experience was very sad. The lady on the self checkout makes you feel you're stupid, I asked her how and where to get my jewelry purchased.. she said you got to pay first, well yeah Ofcourse duh! The I asked her how will I scan, she replied, just finish your purchase... she's not answering my question actually. Then I finished my scanning as I am walking to the pick up area.. two employees crosses infront of me without looking, saying excuse me, nor stoping to asked if I need anything... then when I was going to pick up my purchase jewelry, there where 3 people in the pick up area, mind you there's 3 of them, I have to wait for them to finished chatting before they attend to me. September 9, 2026 at 6pm was the most disappointing day when we arrived at Costco(we drive from Stockton many years because this location HAD good customer service)due to the poor customer service from the door people who check receipts. The lady with the floral shirt who was white was so rude and yelling at us to not stand by the door where the returns are made. That we needed to seperate as a family unit who came to the store together to shop. I told her multiple times we came here together where do you need us to stand so we aren't in the way . Instead of opening that door that's by the returns so that we weren't blocking the exit she just continued to yell at us that we needed to move. Even told us to just go shopping when we clearly needed to make a return. It was down right humiliating being yelled at by another grown adult in front of other people! Only for her to 2 minutes later tell another employee to open the door for the people who came in right after us so that they would be able to stand in the return line. She didn't do that for us! Instead we got yelled at like we were children. I couldn't see her name tag as it was flipped the other way to hide her name. This is not the first time we have gotten bad treatment from the receipt checkers. Unfortunately, due to this, and also the girl at the return desk, being highly rude to us, not wanting to look up our Receipt for the return, we will be canceling our Costco membership and buying a Sam's Club membership as it is opening up in Lathrop. I went today to get my tire rotate and the folks at the tire department say I need 4 new tires because my tire is not safe per legal policy and they won't touch it. My tires are still pretty new. If you don't know what a good tires from a bad tired, you will definitely hook for a new tires. The person keeps telling me bull *** that I could get a ticket for my tires. I realized how wasteful we are in this country. Very disappointed how I was treated this morning. read more

On 4.18.2025 - a vehicle almost took the door off a vehicle in which I was sitting in at the Fuel Pump. We phoned loss prevention and they stated that the only individual who can get the viedo is our car insurance company, also no police report could be taken due to being private property. Jason in LP @ Tracy Costco stated he would give it to the appropriate insurance companies who requests the viedo. To this day the viedo still has not been given and the vehicle is still in the shope awaiting this footage. Spoke with the other driver who took the door off the hinges and he was very apologetic and agreed it was him at fault. We were parked ready to pump fuel, he even helped us at Walmart to get a strap so we could continue our Easter Weekend. read more

Love Costco! Tried their new Roast Beef sandwich from the food court. For $10, it was decent. Good for 2 adults to share. Meat was good, bread soft. Just wish the bread was at least warmed up or toasted. It was a cold cut basically. Only a few tables in the food court and all were taken up. Hot out and didn't want to sit outside Costco. I also want to warn other customers to check the contents of their boxes before purchasing. We recently bought a humidifier during an emergency, and when we got home, we found that the box contained incomplete parts, and the item appeared used, with visible scratches. This wasn't the first time we encountered this issue. It seems that returned items, even if sealed neatly, aren't thoroughly inspected before being placed back on the shelves. This is a big problem and creates unnecessary hassle for customers. While Costco is generally great, experiences like this--especially with recurring mistakes from the same employee--can really affect the trust and convenience that members expect. read more

not a well stocked store, they are always short of stuff especially organic yogurt and pasture raised eggs. most of the organic stuff which can be found in other stores is kind of missing in Tracy store, they need to learn from other stores how to stock up their popular items. This is the best Costco I've gone to and that's mostly because it's not too overcrowded like the Bay Area locations. There's never a long wait when getting gas and the food court's line is never too busy where I'm waiting more than 5 minutes for food. I LOVE the hot dogs and pizza here. The pizza's best when eaten at the food court versus bringing home a whole pizza but delicious either way. The selection here is not as big as other Costcos but I'm starting to see more variety of Asian food pop up! The options here aren't too limiting and I value the shorter wait times more. There are frequent sales on tons of items so you're almost always getting a good price! Plus, Costco's just great to walk around in. My go-to and favorite date spot! read more

Costco in Tracy was where we went right before we started driving up to Yosemite from San Francisco. Since we were staying at an Airbnb we wanted to also buy some food and items that we will be using when we get to the house. We bought some eggs, mushrooms, chicken wings, Kebobs, sausages, alcohol, macaroons, and lemonade. All this would be good for our breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Checked the back prongs for continuity and it's open. Called and I have to go through the Samsung warranty department whom I've tied working with and can not get anyone out still. I usually have really good interactions with Costco employees, and this was a recent visit. Went in with family and was speaking opening with them about how I dislike business that check receipts. Especially as a paying customer. Their "loss prevention" worker watched as I purchased my items, showed my id for the purchase of alcohol, I thought we had polite conversation about something we had different stances on. (The receipt policy) This man watched me purchase my items and grab my receipt and then followed myself and my family out as we waited to let the receipt checker check the receipt. I only do this at Costco when I have purchased more than one item. I've been to a few costcos that allow me to leave when I purchase hot food items or one item, it's not big deal, But this man took it upon himself follow myself, incredibly close to the point I felt it may have been racially targeted. Dude was a creep who needs a real job. Still gonna shop there but I thought I would share my experience after thinking about it. I don't think it is ever right TO FOLLOW A CUSTOMER WHO YOU WATCHED PAY FOR THEIR ITEMS, not to mention feeling all up on the new dog bed I purchased as if he paid for it. Didn't get his name, had a Mohawk or combover and glasses I believe. Tall and big. It was totally unnecessary. Just becuase I don't agree with a policy doesn't mean I will blatantly disregard it. Big lack of professionalism on costcos side. I will be saying something the next time I am followed after multiple people watch me pay for my items, it will be a scene cause I don't appreciate being unnecessarily suspected of theft when he watched me purchase my items. Wow - all I have to say is "Jack W." Is a jerk. He was my cashier in line and I tried to use my digital payment connected to my Costco card on my app (I've been successful at using it previously). He scanned the app for my membership and the card is connected, I can see it in the app connected. He said no digital payment was on there for me to use, I showed him the app had my card (same 4 digits on my physical card) and he was extremely rude and yelling at me, wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. I didn't want to continue to argue with him as he was very argumentative and rude so u asked for my receipt and told him to "have a good day" to which he said "yeah sure" back. I went to the membership counter and they confirmed my card was attached to the account and app and that he must had clicked the wrong button. It is not ok to treat customers like this, especially ones that spend as much money as o do in Costco yearly and have been a customer for 15+ years! Not for the Tracy Costco, online purchase and install. I purchased a dishwasher through Costco online. When the second party Costco uses began working on removing my existing dishwasher, the broke off the Handel to the valve that supplies the water and said it was frozen. Ok, they said it needed to be replaced. They never said I could do the work myself and they would return. They charged $170 to replace a $15 part in 2 min. Costco doesn't seem to have a problem with their vendors fleecing customers. Beware of the vendors that Costco approves to do this work. This experience has me looking to Lowe's and HomeDepot for future purchases of appliances. In short, when I reaching out to Costco about the issue, they washed their hands of the issue. Costco used to be a good company you could rely upon for good products at a low cost and good coverage. Doesn't seem they care now once your product gets to your house. read more

If you're a morning person or an evening person, the crowds here are minimal compared to other locations. They have plenty of parking on both sides of the building so even the further parking spaces don't feel far. The checkers and staff are super friendly and well spirited, always cracking jokes and starting up conversation while you wait. They have a special selection of local beers that I haven't seen at other locations, and for whatever reason always have items in stock that the Lodi one doesn't. Looking for a cheap date night? Costco food court! The only downside is the last few times I've been here, they've been out of sauerkraut, which is the only topping I like on my hot dogs. They told me that they still carry it they just run out on occasion. (I know Costco didn't run out. It's Costco. They just dont prep enough) read more

This Costco is good and they sell some different items than the usual Costco I go to. There's a gas station in this location also. The restrooms located inside the store are being remodeled right now so the temporary portable/trailer restrooms are located outside in the parking lot near the tire center. The portable restrooms are pretty nice. Another customer shopping was rude. She didn't ask me to move my shopping cart so she can get an item off the shelf. She just pushed my cart toward me hard enough for me to feel the push. That was not nice! A young female with her witnessed the whole thing. Costco recently started working exclusively with T-Mobile in offering cellular service. My experience working with the T-Mobile sales staff at the Costco, Tracy, kiosk has been less than satisfactory. My iPhone was failing recently and I needed to upgrade it. I decided to stay with T-Mobile and upgrade at the kiosk inside Costco, Tracy. My decision was partly driven by the Costco program that offered $100 Shop cards for such transactions. I was told that I would receive the e-card after ninety days. Three months later, I had still not received the Shop card. I went back to the store and was told that I needed to call the Customer Service number. When I called, I was told that the request for the gift card had never been submitted by the original sales rep. The request was submitted by the phone rep and hopefully I'll receive the e-card within thirty days. My feeling is that both Costco and T-Mobile own this poor performance. read more

One of the worst costco centers i have visited. Bought an Air fryer, went home and saw that it was used. Came back to the store to return it and asked the staff why was it not verified before putting it back in the shelf. Their reply - "The previous customer taped it well and said that it was not used, so we put it back in the shelf. ". Like seriously? This is literally cheating by selling customers used products. First time returning to Tracy Costco during COVID-19. Didn't get a chance to write a review of this location earlier, so thought I do it now. This place (the warehouse) is actually very big & spacious compare to most other costco locations! Seems this is the only place so far, where I don't feel so crowded finding myself having to squeeze through aisles always being cautious not to bump into other shoppers! Each of their aisles is very spacious & well-organized. Huge parking lot with plenty of available spaces & lots of shades for your car during summer parking. Too bad this isn't my local Costco. Due to the far distance, can only stop here once in a blue moon when passing by the area! read more
