I've gone on all the days and every single time I'm in there, someone breaks a piece of glass or stacks their wagon or cart so high that it ends up being a safety hazard. I'm not sure why "$6 an item" brings out the worst in people but you'll witness people argue and make snide remarks. It's a high stress environment. The 25 cent day was actually the worst! I've never seen so many people bent halfway into bins, tossing things and grabbing things. There's an app where you can reserve a number to get inside in a more civilized manner but that doesn't stop people from acting like lunatics. In fact, you'll see everyone hover around the door at 10am. Still, I've found great stuff so I keep coming back for the deals. It's a fun treasure hunt and great for early Christmas shopping.

Although their plus size selection is limited to two racks, I was able to find a couple of things. I was pretty excited because I normally shop at Torrid & Forever 21 and they had both brands! The best deal was a pair of Torrid shorts that I got for $9.99 which are normally $38.50. I know this not only because they left the original tag but because I shop at Torrid and am quite familiar with their pricing. So this was an awesome find. I also got a Forever 21 tunic for $8.99. Not too much of a discount as Forever 21 is already reasonably priced, but at least I didn't have to drive to Modesto. Plus, I was surprised/happy that I actually found something to take home! Something to note before you make a purchase - there are no returns and only exchanges are aloud. There is a large sign above the register with all the info. One employee in particular, Savannah, really needs additional customer service training. I watched her assisting another customer, and I could clearly see her rolling her eyes and showing attitude while the customer was simply asking for help. That alone was very unprofessional. Unfortunately, I experienced the same attitude when I checked out. she was not careful at all with the items I purchased while bagging them. When an error happened, there was no apology and no effort to acknowledge it. Her overall demeanor came across as rude and dismissive. I chose not to say anything at the time because I did not want to create a confrontation, but customers should not be treated this way. No matter where someone shops or how much they spend, basic courtesy, patience, and professionalism should be expected. I also want management to address the restroom situation at this location. The restroom seems to have been unavailable since this store opened. I frequently shop with an elderly family member, and having to leave the store and go somewhere else in the plaza just to find a restroom in the middle of shopping is extremely inconvenient. This is one of their favorite stores, so it makes the situation especially frustrating. The former 99 Cent Store at this location did not leave me with this kind of impression, and I even recognize some employees who worked here previously. I'm not sure what has changed, but both the customer service and restroom situation deserve management's attention.
